Let me be clear, I have been going to The Melting Pot for the last 37 years, it's always a great time, the food is always delicious, and the ambiance is very romantic. I consider it a celebratory place, and a place to make memories. My fiance and I went last night, and there was a game changer involved! I don't know how long they've been doing this, but now they offer a way to grill your proteins instead of cooking them in oil or bullion. My fiance and I really loved this! It really locked the flavor into the meats rather than having them be kind of chewy and all one flavor when it is submerged in either oil or bouillon. My fiance surprised me with the Romantic package which had rose petals on the table and three red roses in a vase for me on the table. They took our picture and put it in a Melting Pot frame for us which made the evening feel even more special! Our server Mike was extremely attentive and very fun! We laughed a lot with him and he never let our drinks get empty. As we were leaving we chatted with the manager Brian. I told him that Mike was wonderful and we really enjoyed our evening. He gave us three chocolate covered strawberries on the way out the door. I'm not sure if that was part of our romantic package or he was just being very kind, but it makes us want to return. Like I said I feel like the grilling of the proteins was a game changer, and it made a restaurant that was already tried and true for me a little bit more elevated. Took my mom here for her birthday dinner because she's always wanted to come try out the fondue concept and never has! We had an absolutely fantastic time! The manager, Kristen, was beyond accomodating from start to finish including moving up my reservation time from 6:15pm to 5:00pm. When we arrived, we were guided to our table where there were a dozen red roses and a happy birthday balloon already waiting for us! It's such a nice & loving touch to add these celebratory items. We sat in a booth that had curtains to cover our table with, which provided some privacy and a bit of warmth on this cold evening! Zoe was our server and unfortunately, tonight was her last day. She was absolutely phenomenal. So kind, accommodating, answered all of our questions about everything and went above and beyond to make sure my mom was pleased on her special day. For dinner, we ordered the 4 course dinner for 2! We chose a fondue for the beginning which came with bread, broccoli/cauliflower, carrots, apples and grapes. We chose the Quattro Formaggio, which was AMAZING! They place the pot on the middle portion of the table and Zoe actually made the cheese mixture for us. It's so fun to dip everything in! Mom and I both ordered a Caesar salad and it tasted extremely fresh. The Caesar at the melting pot was unique because the dressing was made in house, and there was also the addition of pine nuts, which aren't commonly placed in a Caesar salad. However, it tasted incredible and I liked how different it was! For the main course we did the Coq au vin cooking style which consisted of a blend of wine, mushroom and garlic. We ordered a bunch of entree items (3 for each person): teriyaki steak, duck breast, filet mignon, chicken potstickers, herb crusted chicken and wild mushroom raviolis. Each item was brought UNCOOKED with a ton of different sauces and we were to place them in the Coq au vin boiling pot in order to cook and enjoy. The QR code on the table is key. Scan it and it'll be your little timer/indicator to know when each piece of meat is done and ready to eat. There were also potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower brought along with the meats. For dessert, we got the flaming turtle but with dark chocolate since that is our favorite kind of chocolate. They brought out little pieces of cakes, brownies, marshmallows, strawberries, and bananas to dip into the chocolate. The dessert is definitely my favorite part. The dark chocolate was insanely good. If you're a dark chocolate lover, I would definitely choose the flaming turtle. It was adorable how the restaurant took a photo of my mom and I and then printed and handed it to us for her birthday. We came to one of the All you can eat 4-course discount days. But when I asked about it, our server didn't really know much of the details, and I had to pull up the email to show it. I also let her know it was everyone at the table's first time here (aside from me), and she only acknowledged it but then didn't bother to explain how everything works. It has been a couple years since I'd been to a melting pot, so I didn't remember everything, but I had to be the one to explain how each course works to the table. The food, of course, was amazing though. We tried the Wisconsin Cheddar, Classic Alpine, and Quattro Formaggio. Half the table preferred the cheddar, and the other half liked the alpine more. My favs are the alpine and quattro. Everything else after was delicious. I love the melting pot, but this location seemed a little disorganized with the staff. Our Valentine's Day experience today was more than we could have hoped for! We had reservations for 3 pm and purposely got there an hour early to have drinks at the bar. We started with Mai Tais - excellent as always. Next, I ordered a lemon blueberry martini (to die for!). My hubby got a Tipsy Turtle and loved it. The host, Natalie and our bartender, Jen were absolutely perfect and so much fun. We went to our curtained booth and - omg - there was the cutest strawberry squishmallow on the table to take home!!! My friend and I go to the melting pot usually once a year. We do the four courses with cheese, salad, entree and dessert. The meal was great and the service, as per usual, was excellent. While the quality of the food has remained over the years, we did notice some changes. The vegetable portion for the entree part of the meal has gotten significantly smaller. For dessert, our favorite s'mores fondue was removed from the menu. We elected for the cookies and cream fondue, which just tasted like dark chocolate. I've had fondue before but this was my first visit to Melting Pot. We stopped in for my daughter's 12th birthday, at her request. The fact that she even knew about it surprised me! Kids know about fondue?? I've always thought of the Melting Pot as a kind of outdated 80s style place that nobody goes to, but it was actually packed and pretty nice. Each table is semi-private and comes with a set of curtains that can be closed if you want it to be a super private meal. We were first timers to their system so the waiter did a great job catching us up with how everything worked. He also provided great service throughout. We went with 2 cheese fondues to start, the Alpine and the Cheddar, and then we each got a variety of steak and chicken for the entrees. It was entirely too much food, but it was hard to gauge how much to order as first time guests. Nonetheless, everything was pretty good. My only criticism was that some of the steak was super fatty which I didn't love. But everything else was solid. I didn't try the dessert but everyone else did and they liked it a lot. They got a milk chocolate and something called a Turtle fondue, along with a variety of fruits and cakes. Looks very good! Our meal was about $400 for 5 of us, with drinks and tip included. The price surprised me a bit. That's what we pay for a night out at Ruth's Chris. The food was good at the Melting Pot, but I'm not sure it's worth $80 a person. Our server brandon was so nice and very attentive. We usually always go for the classic alpine cheese fondue and a chocolate. Today we started with the classic Alpine cheese as usual- this was delicious and one of our favorite parts of the meal! But today in addition we also chose to have the classic meat entree which included chicken, pork, steak, and shrimp - unfortunately I can't say this is something we would ever try again. It was extremely peppery to the point that you couldn't really taste the meat, but luckily it was served with a whole tray of dips, which were helpful to cover up the flavor, but would have been nice if it was a standalone good dish on its own. Everything was great as usual. However, this time I did notice a few fruit flies flying around which is keeping me from a 4 star review. I am a stickler in cleanliness and having the proper pest control protocols. The server was excellent, explained everything well and kept our cups full. Overall we ended having a good night. Upon arrival we were quickly sat (we had a reservation.) They sat us at the table by the bar with the window. We were not happy with the seat. I asked the hostess if we could have another table. I told her we were willing to wait. She was not happy. She asked me why I told her and she said. "Well I can shut the blinds for you." I stood up and walked over to the manger and asked for a new table. He was very accommodating. He apologized and told us we would be next when a table opened. We waited until a table paid. About 10-15 mins. Once we sat the manger came over and told us that if we needed anything to ask for him a that he would help. He told us that we cold have drinks on us, so that was very nice. (We ordered one drink.) The server was nice, helpful. No issues the rest of the night. So we were very relieved. Our check came and the manager took $25 off. That was very nice of him. It's been some time since we were last at the Melting Pot. However, I am happy to say that this place is just as great as ever. We made a reservation, and I highly suggest making one at least several days in advance to get the time that you want. This is not a meal to be rushed and so they don't go through tables as quickly as regular restaurants. There's a full bar. I prefer the Boca location because it is very quaint inside. The restaurant is quiet and there's a curtain to provide some privacy during your meal. This restaurant is definitely the place for celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or holidays and achievements. My family opted for the four-course meal. That meal comes with a cheese course, choice of one of four delicious salads, your main fondue course in which you can choose from meets, poultry, fish, seafood, and vegetable items. Of course, the last course is dessert and there are lots of options if you want to go beyond the basic chocolate fondue. Be sure to ask for extra mushrooms and fill them with the green goddess spread. Coat them in the batter and make delicious stuffed mushrooms. We did an oil base. Our waitress, Lorena, was very attentive and had lots of suggestions to improve our meal. All the staff were professional and courteous. The restaurant was nicely decorated and well maintained. There is plenty of parking in front and behind the restaurant. Give yourself at least 2 hours or more to enjoy your meal. It's quite the experience! read more

I booked a few birthday related experiences online to include a dozen roses, chocolate covered strawberries, a balloon, and a special birthday bundt cake for dessert. I also alerted them that we were traveling with our son who is in a wheelchair. We arrived on time and were brought to our table where everything was awaiting perfectly including a chair having been removed to accommodate our wheelchair. Service and our meal were exceptional with the manager coming over several times to make sure everything was going perfectly. About the only criticism I'll give is that the property isn't very wheelchair accessible. There is apparently wheelchair access to the second floor somewhere on the property but it's not well marked. We made a reservation and when we got there, the lady at the hostess stand politely informed us that a few tables were running behind and directed us to have a seat at the bar. I am pregnant, and indulged in a watermelon smash mocktail which was refreshing. The young guy manning the bar was friendly and engaging. There was a peculiar group of three at a table behind us at the bar, having a family talk with their son, which was super strange as it was loud and kind of awkward. But, it's Boca, so I guess they expected everyone else to give them privacy in a public space. But, the service from every employee we encountered was great, and we were seated at a nice private little booth with curtains and a window. The first course was cheese fondue with fruits, veggies and breads. Then came salads. The salads are premade and not incredibly impressive but still tasty. Then came the proteins with a small skillet. The portions aren't huge but we found everything to be quite enough and liked that we left feeling full but not uncomfortably stuffed. The dessert came last and was incredibly delicious. The time between courses was decent, having walked in just before 8:30, we didn't leave until about 10:40. I hadn't been to a Melting Pot in a long time but my family was looking for a holiday meal spot so we decided to give it a shot. I had heard they had made some changes to get men to embrace the concept a bit more and guess what? It worked. I cannot emphasize enough how incredible he was, he truly went above and beyond for us and made our experience an 11/10 time. We had a reservation and showed up with the email offer which turned out to be for another location, however they were kind enough to honor it. We were seated quickly in a nice booth. We didn't realize it was such a romantic setting, very low lighting and there were curtains to close the booth if you wish. We ordered delicious mocktails, watermelon and mojito aka a nojito Our server Wendy gave us all kinds of choices to make - salads - cheese fondues and entree cooking styles & seasonings and not to forget desserts! Boca Ratons Melting Pot is always hands down the place to come celebrate or just for a date night. They are located right off of federal hwy and Yamato. We were served by Tina, who is hands down one of their best servers to date. She was absolutely professional to say the least and very knowledgeable on different drink and food items. She made the visit easier then normal and definitely worth every penny to come back. The ambience as always is comforting and elegant, who does that. The food was delicious as always, we cook it exactly how we like and enjoyed our sweet dessert chocolate fondue on such a beautiful birthday occasion. Let me start off by saying I absolutely love the melting pot and it has always been dynamite but our experience this evening was a total flop. We made reservations online to celebrate a species occasion like most people who come here do. When we arrived the hostess said it would be at least a 30 minute wait for our table; since the previous guests arrived late and would affect us. We decided to grab a drink at the bar except there were no seats, no where to stand other than outside and could not order a drink. So we waited outside for 15 mins until the parties standing by the hostess stand were sat and we could make way inside. This would've been fine except the bartender put his hand in the cocktail to pull out a piece of fruit and re-garnish it. My boyfriend said some thing and I was surprised the bartender did not make a new drink or at least comp it on the house for the lack of handling. Clearly, he was new. The meal was okay. I've had better experiences here before. Unfortunately the food was just average & could not make up for the long wait and the cocktail situation. On a recent Saturday night, my companion and I ventured into The Melting Pot in Boca Raton for what turned out to be an unforgettable dining experience. With a reservation for two, we were promptly seated upon arrival in what I can only describe as very cozy dining: a booth shrouded in privacy by a curtain. Perfect for a date night or, in my case since I hate commitments, a "dinner hookup" the setup added a unique touch of "intimacy" to our meal. Wendy, our server, was the star of the evening. Her attentiveness and spot-on recommendations were impeccable, especially considering it was my companion's first dip into The Melting Pot. She expertly guided us through the menu, tailoring our four-course experience to our tastes--or more accurately, to my guest's preferences, making the evening all about him. At $55 per person, the four-course meal was a plunge into fondue heaven. We found ourselves gleefully dipping breads and veggies while trying to keep dripping cheese off our shirts, my companion enjoying his blueberry lemon drop martinis, while I kept it low-brow with a few Heineken 0.0s (one of us had to remain lucid). Opting for the grill over the bouillon for our meats and veggies was a wise choice, allowing us to cook our selections to perfection--mine just barely leaving the pasture and his, well, charred beyond recognition. Eh, to each its own, but I'd consider anyone who wants their filet to be incinerated to be a little on the sadistic side. Dessert was a delectable chocolate fondue, and though we were too stuffed to finish it all, the rice krispie treats did not stand a chance. Everything was fantastic. We did 2 of the preset meals for 4 of us. Everything was wonderful but it was a Lot of food. The service was also wonderful The preset included dessert and we picked the Ying and Yang (dark & white chocolate) and the chocolate & peanut butter. This was our 3rd time coming here for date night for Valentines weekend. We really enjoy the 4 course meal with added extras (roses, take home photo, and $25 coupon for a future visit). Because we had a reservation, we were greeted upon entry and didn't have to wait long before they called us and escorted us to a private curtained booth. While the food is always great, the service isn't necessarily up to par. We had a lot of down time this past visit. Completely finished the two things of cheese for example before being asked what our entree choices were and were out of dippers while waiting for the waiter on both the cheese and dessert fondues. Had the best experience with my boyfriend. It was his first time and it was actually incredible. To start, Garett was so inviting and informative on all the specials they had for the night. He also made a homemade brown sugar spiced espresso martini that was hands down the best I've ever had and I'm an espresso girly. Then, when we sat down, Julie took care of us and honestly it was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Her attention to detail, personality, and care for her customers goes beyond unnoticed. Julie and Garett were honestly the highlight of our nights and should be given a raise for their compassion and friendly gestures. We went to celebrate and we were very pleased with the holiday menu. $55/per adult. The steak was great on the requested cast iron pan instead of cooked in oils and there was plenty to eat. Grateful to avoided spices and the staff was friendly too. Flowers were a nice gift surprise on the way out the door.
