Treated a friend to brunch this morning, and thought to try here for the first time. Meh. Not particularly impressed. I went with the basic breakfast of eggs/bacon/toast and coffee - it was ok, but nothing special. A ton of choices for specialty coffees, but I wanted just a plain cup which was too strong, somewhat tasteless, and felt more like instant than perked. My friend had one of their sweet crepes which was good, just not great. Service was fine. Not impressed with their cleanliness, especially the bathroom, which didn't even have toilet seat covers. Overall, it was just ok - there are better choices to go to. read more

Absolutely love this place. I'm so delighted that this location is near me now. The food is just as good as the DT location. My server was super super nice. We had the chorizo burrito and the brûlée French toast it was fireeeee. Will def be back for the Meximosa as well. read more

Food is creative and has thought and passion behind it. But I just can't wait 45min to an hour for breakfast. The servers are very sweet, but the food timing is just not there. Hard, as I like the space, and used to come to kitchen table all the time. The focus seems more on partying, DJs, and debauchery, rather than executing consistently. Shame, as this was always a local fave and neighborhood spot. Now it's just a party brunch that takes way too long on multiple occasions. Bummer. read more

First of all - the wait staff was excellent. Everything else was pretty bad. If you like spending an hour in a noisy restaurant sipping $10 drinks until your food arrives - this is the place for you. There was no queue at the door when we arrived, or when we left, and yet our party of three waited for literally more than an hour to be served. It seems the restaurant prioritizes large parties having drinks over serving people food. When the food finally arrived, the eggs were under-cooked and caused our child to vomit. Advice to the management: if you can't serve people in a timely manner then tell them the wait time before they're seated. Spending all your energy on one large party who probably won't be back will cost you repeat business from people who live nearby. read more

Wow! absolutely delicious with a wide hard to resist. Everything is so fresh, the quality really shows. The shop itself is always spotless with a cozy welcoming atmosphere. The Parlour in Henderson....I reviewed the original Parlour on Carson street downtown recently and was very impressed with the quality of the food. I was looking forward to doing extensive review of the sister restaurant also named the "Parlour" as well, (*"Parlour" is the Kings english spelling of "Parlor.") The restaurant is a bit bigger inside and has some unique dishes only here in the Henderson location. Mandy the pastry chef whips up some amazing creations. The Monkey bread is absolutely divine. Not overly sweet but just right; This is a must try. I ordered the "king Crab Benny," as it was touted by the other Parlour restaurant as a very unique dish. It didn't disappoint. It was in a word, outstanding! It has real King Crab and I would be hard pressed to find another restaurant that use this hard to find King Crab. It paired very well with the hash browns under the english muffin with bacon bits, toasted just right. The side salad was just enough to cleanse the pallet between bites of King crab. Unique, fresh and delicious!. I met with owner Antonio and he was gracious to tell me the back story to the genesis of The Parlour. Without going into great detail it is a true love of fresh, unique dishes that will inspire the average diner to come back time and time again. It is a concept of being a "Social Sitting Room." The idea is to come on in enjoy being social and enjoy some mind blowing food.*(pretend it's 1990, no cell phones, talk to each other.) Also, the coffee is some of the best around! I have tried other dishes at the other Parlour and they serve the same here as well. Try the "Parlour Brekie Sando." It was borne from a collaboration of being a hangover cure. Not sure if it does that but you have to try this creation. They have unique way of drinking champagne, it's called the "Cham-bong." *See pix. Basically you shoot champagne through a hollow stem glass, great fun! The servers, Griffen and Natalie were fantastic, always smiling and on the spot with the service! There is the possibility of The Parlour being open for dinner. Stay tuned around the first of the year. Summary, if you want a ordinary oriented breakfast / lunch style restaurant, there are plenty to choose from If you want very fresh, truly unique breakfast / lunch dining experience you owe it to yourself to stop by The Parlour in Henderson. My "William score:" 1-5, 5 being best Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4.5 Value: 4-5 Fun factor: 5 menu: 5 overall this is a 4.8, One of my highest scores yet. Love this new Parlour location! The atmosphere is amazing both indoors and outdoors, very spacious, and AMAZING food and drinks. I have no complaints. Right away, the people are very friendly and knowledgeable, and provide great service. They offer outdoor seating right under canopy shades, surrounded by green and mountains. The air feels perfect right now, the music is bumpin great tunes. Food is impeccable. Again, the people are very personable, and the prices are much more affordable than anything, especially given the great quality! We had to ask for water twice. We did not get silverware until we asked. Food took 50 minutes to get. The table by us was sat 10 minutes after us and got their food before us. We (2 people) asked for napkins and received one to share. We did not get a pen to sign the receipt. The server was working hard but by himself. The food was decent. Not coming back. read more

It took 48 minutes for chicken and waffles. 48 minutes...I sat at the bar and watched them make everyone else food but mine. Then when it came to mine I watched them make it very poorly in the last 2 seconds. That chicken n waffles was 1/10 at best the waffle was cold the Mac n cheese inside the waffle was very very bland totally forgot it was even part of the dish. I'll never be back here. If you don't mind to wait 1 hour and 10 min to get your cappuccino... fine! The place is busy on Sundays way too loud (really my ears was hurting after leaving - we sat inside). We asked few times if we can have a sit outside but the host said "no, it's for reservations only", which is weird because the website has not reservation on it. It took us 1:25 min to get our breakfast, my husband's order came wrong, my cappuccino was reheat in the microwave (they have a good coffee but mine was probably sat there forever and the waiter brought it after I reminded him). So they did another one which was good. Some smalls details like napkins was not brought, some tables had no sugar, salt etc including mine.. the waiter was a nice guy but he did not write down the orders just memorized I think, he had to come back to ask us what we ordered. So I just think the service need to improve, the food is good, but they are very slow. They are very busy which is creating the long wait and mistakes, once they figure out how to serve high volume they should be fine. New restaurant just need time to figure things out! read more

Come for the coffee stay for the pastries. The fact they serve other food is just a bigger bonus. I have been a fan of the downtown location and am happy to welcome them to Henderson. The chef owner and his staff are very attentive. I also like the indoor outdoor options which will help as weather gets nicer. It is small inside so expect waits on weekends. read more

This is like the 3 rd time that I'd been to this location but under a different name. They have great customer service even when almost all the tables were full. My daughter and I brought a friend because we'd just wanted some place new to go for breakfast and it was one of the top ten. I can only say that usually every time I go to breakfast, I rarely eat everything on my plate. Had the corn beef hash and it was delicious, just the right amount of time on the grill for the potatoes, my friend had the honeybun breakfast and ended up deconstructing it, so that she wouldn't be the 1st one to finish and my daughter had I believe the country steak with a chipotle gravy (Lord have Mercy)! She shared a little on our plates, but she waited till all we had was a couple of mouthfuls of our breakfast left, which gave her more to take home and eat silently and without all eyes on her plate. My girlfriend order the big as my head cinnamon roll and I swear it has taken me 2 1/2 days just to eat. I had to treat it as a small birthday cake. It's a cozy family feel and we will be back.
