I have actually seen this food truck before but never had the opportunity to order from here so I thought today would be a good day. It seems like their claim to fame is that they use halal meat. I ordered the loaded P and a side of fries. I was pretty underwhelmed with the overall meal. The roll looked like it was bought from a general store and the cheese looked like nacho cheese you get in a can. I will give them credit that the fries tasted fresh but again, I was overall underwhelmed with the whole meal. Truthfully I would have considered giving this place four stars but the total cost of this meal came out to more than $30, which is a bit crazy. I understand we are going through an inflation period but a cheesesteak and fries costing that much is insane. Had the meal blown me away, I would have understood the high price. There may not be many cheesesteak shops in the Bay Area but there are enough where I can compare the quality and price of those shops to this truck. The quality of the sandwiches is definitely similar but the other places are way cheaper. Like I mentioned earlier, if you are going to be a truck that specializes in an American classic and are going to charge a hefty price, then be prepared to impress me. It gave me flashbacks of having one in Philadelphia back in 2018. My lord, I'd give a lower rib to have just one location in Las Vegas, 10/10. We only had the sandwich and for it to be that good without a side of fries or even mayo & lettuce, that's a damn good spot. The ambiance and service were delightful, the nice lady who took our order even knew we planned to split a sandwich so it's was just nice to experience service that goes beyond just taking your order & sending you on your way. Our food was out within 8 minutes & devoured within 5 minutes, best believe that. If you're missing a taste of Philly but don't plan on visiting that side of the coast no time soon, this is where you want to be.

When I asked a couple of questions, her responses were short and dismissive. At one point, she even asked if I had thrown trash on the ground--which was confusing and unnecessary, especially since the floor was clean. The food itself was okay. The bread was fresh and chewy. The meat was moist, cheese was gooey and the onions and peppers combined well with the meat. The onion rings were crispy, fried perfectly to give you that crunch with each bite. Overall, good food, clean restaurant and nice staff. Prepared with an over easy egg, we sometimes we concern ourselves with how restaurants do the simple things; but I was quite content with how the sandwiches turned out. They were prepared rather quickly, they tasted good and the chef as well as the person attending, the window was courteous and professional. It gets no better than that. Considering it was an outdoor event, the ambience was loud, inviting, but you still feel like your order got the attention it deserved.
