This was my first visit and I will definitely be returning! First, the staff is very courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable about their food products. I unfortunately didn't catch the gals name, but she provided outstanding customer service. She explained all of their desserts in great detail so you would know what to expect in what you order. She also provided a wonderful taste test of cannoli fillings. This visit resulted in purchasing several cannolis - the variety of flavors available are excellent - how can you just choose one? I will begin with - WOW! This outstanding bakery is connected to a restaurant with similar name. We had already had an early dinner else where and later had a craving for a yummy dessert. Our Yelp app rates Sicilian Bakery 4 stars and once again we were not disappointed! The bakery had a wonder selection including a build your own cannoli. Shockingly my husband did not go for that but instead selected a cannoli cake, which he described was to die for. I selected a pastry with vanilla cannoli filling with the consistency of a cheesecake and my tastebuds were overly pleased! If time allows, we will go back and start with dinner. I went to dinner at the Sicilian Butcher the night before and was waited on by an amazing server named Danielle. Although my wife and I showed up a half hour before the kitchen closed, she never once rushed us or made us feel unwelcome. Since the bakery was closed before we finished our dinner we stopped back the next night to try the infamous cannoli's that came highly recommended by my brother who vacationed in Scottsdale a few months back. He loved the cannolis so much so that he went every day of his vacation to get more, which says a lot because he's not big on sweets. Anyway, my experience the second night at the bakery was anything but pleasant. The woman working tonight (5/19/22) couldn't have been more rude or put out to wait on us. She made zero eye contact while mumbling under her breath "do you ladies want something?". I responded, yes, and asked what flavor cannolis were available. As if it wasn't bad enough that she sighed before responding, she said the flavors so fast that my wife and I both looked at each other to see if we heard anything she said. When I asked her to repeat the flavors again, you would have thought the world was coming to an end by the annoyed tone of her voice. She wasn't helpful in the slightest and didn't even make us aware that we were able to try the flavors. I have never felt so unwelcome or disrespected in a restaurant in my life and I dine out frequently. I have worked in customer service my entire life so I try my best to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but tonight there was absolutely no reason to be treated like a second class citizen when I'm spending $30 on four cannolis. I get that everyone has bad days, but she legitimately seemed to hate the fact that she was working there- which isn't my fault, so I'm not sure why we were treated as so. I have never been to your bakery before and the cannoli flavors were not posted anywhere nor was there even a menu, so how was I supposed to know the flavors behind the glass? This a great Italian place with a lot of options. Our server was relatable, friendly, and helpful with the menu, and our food was delivered quickly. It was delicious and fresh, and the portion sizes are big!! My date ordered a create your own pasta, and I ordered a caprese sandwich with the house salad. The GM came to our table and asked how we were liking our food; he was super cool and made us laugh. Afterwards, we went to the bakery side and had the mini cannoli, which were great. Absolutely amazing cannolis. Went to this place to check it out since it's a custom cannoli, I got the mini cannoli with chocolate cream. The reason they're so good is because they stuff the cream right in front of you, so the outer shell isn't soggy and watered down like most places. Stopped by during their grand opening week after having a great meal next door at the Sicilian Butcher. While the concept of a "cannoli bar" is unique and interesting I will say that I have had much better cannolis and was not overly impressed. The flavor of both the shell itself as well as the filling seemed like something I could buy in any big box store. I got the traditional filling, my wife got Cinnamon, and the kids got Cookies and Cream. All seemed rather bland seeing as this is their big draw. As well, we were told by our server at the Sicilian Butcher if you say "holy cannoli" you will get a free cannoli but, when my younger son said it nice and loud, we were told that was no longer being offered... Either way, I recommend trying the pastries as we tried a few different ones and they were all great. read more

We stopped by the Sicilian Baker looking for some rolls for dinner and were surprised not to find any, however, all the desserts in the case looked delicious so we called an audible and purchased a cannoli, sfogliatelle, and pignoli cookies. The regular size cannoli for $4 was stuffed with delicious filling and the shell was tasty and crunchy. The sfogliatelle had a generous filling and was just delicious with a cup of coffee for breakfast. It was the priciest sfogliatelle I've had at $5.50 and candidly, I'd like to see the price lower before I buy another. The pignoli cookies are sold by the pound but because my wife only ordered three, they charged her by the piece at $1.50 per cookie. She was disappointed about this unexplained approach. The two women who waited on us were very friendly, we just wish they would have described the cookie pricing better so we did not learn about it when we got home and looked at the receipt. Overall, we recommend the Sicilian Baker, just recognize it's a bit pricey. read more

Can't really review the food. Their hours are listed as 9am to 10pm daily but they were locked up tight by 9:20pm.

Baked goods are good, but the to go sandwiches are blah. The bread was stale and a poor texture. We ended up pulling off the meat and eating the meat/cheese by itself. We have eaten at the Sicilian butcher and their sandwiches were much better than these. Not sure if they were just old but these are definitely not worth buying. read more

We came here from California during a visit to Phoenix after reading reviews. We wanted to try the different cannoli fillings. Geno hooked us up. It was early and not busy. Was in town for a soccer tournament from Las Vegas and the name of this dessert shop caught my eye, so I had to try it. Being Italian, Sicilian and originally from NY, I knew I was going in ready to critique the food. I had high hopes. We tried the mini cannoli. First the cannoli filling was off. The consistency was not thick enough, almost more like whip cream. So really disappointed in that. The cannoli cream should be the star of the cannoli. But the shell was better than the filling. Didn't understand the cannoli bar concept, but it seemed like a big hit with the locals. The rainbow cookie was not dense as it should have been, it was more like a cake that crumbled when you took a bite. Also too large, more like a piece of cake. Too large. I've had many rainbow cookies from Italian bakeries in NY- unfortunately the Sicilian Baker missed the mark on these. Now the Sfogliatella was great! This was the best out of everything we tried during our visit. Those are hard to find out West, so if we are ever in Scottsdale I may have to stop in just for those. I give 3 stars because if you're going to call your business the Sicilian Baker, you have to totally live up to the name. read more

This is a great treat after having dinner at The Sicilian Butcher. The cannoli fillings are phenomenal and the staff will let you try them before selecting one for your cannoli. The dark chocolate gelato was very rich and the lemon and raspberry were very refreshing. The Italian wedding cookies are also very good. Saw this place on the news and the cannolis looked so delicious I decided to go pick up some for a family treat. We did not get to try them due to terrible customer service. I was not even acknowledged while standing by the counter trying to make an order, and I decided to leave when the worker started helping someone that walked up to the counter after I had stood there for a few minutes.
