They also have a massive fermented grapes collection, if that's your thing. *Were named in the 2024 Top 15 places to eat Brunch at in the South Bay by SF Eater (https://sf.eater.com/maps/best-brunch-san-jose-south-bay). *Happy Hour (Wed - Sun until 530 p.m.) w/ HH bites, as well as cocktails. *Patio dining *Great ambiance and vibe *Complimentary baguette ends was classy and delicious way to start the meal. I'm gonna start dipping my sourdough in ricotta & EVOO from now on. *We visited them on Christmas Eve and their seasonal menu featured a Prime Rib that was really delicious, as well as a fantastic cranes spinach that was superb. Was it $60 good, tho? Debatable, but at least it was tasty. *Roasted Carrot Salad was tasty and when you ate all the elements together it made for a delicious bite. My only qualm was it was a bit underdressed for my liking, but that might be a personal preference. The Meh: *Winter Citrus Cake dessert was a little underwhelming. Sure it was a pretty good poundcake, but I'm not paying $12 for a slice of "pretty good poundcake"--I want those extra calories to be #worthit *I definitely ordered my draft beer well-before the 530 HH deadline and didn't get the discounted rate. Now I could give two fucks about the $1, but it's more the principle of the situation. *Small private lot on Willow St, but you'll most likely have to find (free) street parking or park in the (also free) garage. The Ugly: *Carissa's Salmon entrée was seriously undercooked in the middle--and we're both more than OK with med-rare salmon, but this was btwn raw and just barely cooked which is pretty much no man's land tbh. We would've said something but she started at the thin end and by the time she got to the severely undercooked part she had already eaten about half, and it felt weird to ask at that point. Ww were hoping the waiter would notice when he retrieved the plate, but nope. Looking back now at the photos you could see the opaqueness of meat in the thick part, and any chef worth their salt should've noticed it before sending it out. Conclusion: Overall, the food was passable, but when one factors in the pricing it's not making a compelling case for anything above 3-stars. read more

We were excited to check out The Table as we have tried several restaurants in downtown Willow Glen but not The Table. It's always so busy and have friends who rave about it. We decided to make a reservation for Christmas Eve so that we could do our annual Willow Glen Holiday Lights. When we arrived at 5, we got seated at a table right by the door and right by the hostess stand. The dining room was almost empty. The couple before us did not have a reservation but somehow were able to get the best table in the room. 4 person table right in a private corner. We, who had made reservations a week in advance, were seated in a two person shitty spot that had everyone either walking past our table or standing by us. Our waiter was great. We had no problems with service. And the ambiance was nice. The pacing of our food was perfect. The bread with the whipped ricotta was very good. Why don't we always have whipped ricotta instead of butter? The ricotta needed some salt though. The carrot salad was kind of underwhelming to me. If you got everything on one bite, it was tasty. But I was disappointed. I was going to get the bolognese as my friend recommended but they mentioned salmon as a special and I can't say no to salmon. When it arrived, I first thought the salmon was cooked well. I noticed the skin wasn't really crispy but I started eating it. It had no flavor but the texture was okay. The soubise was odd--very sweet. As I ate the salmon, I started realizing it wasn't cooked--basically raw. But at that point, I had eaten more than half of the salmon so I didn't want to complain. I was hoping the waiter would notice when he picked up my plate but I guess not. Overall, I was unimpressed with The Table. I found all of the food to be very bland. I eat a lot of salmon at restaurants and I've never had one that was so undercooked that I couldn't finish it. Will we return to try their brunch menu? I doubt it. read more

When I think of brunch, I immediately think of an eggs benedict with some smoked salmon. However after looking at the menu, I was intrigued by the many options available! What we ordered: Fried Chicken Steak: (Rating: 4/5) The panko crust was absolutely crispy on the outside and the chicken was very juicy. The sauce was delicious and it tasted similar to a baked potato soup! The dish itself was stunning, however, I'd prefer the sauce on the side in the future to prevent a soggy crust. Came here on a saturday for bunch with no reservations around 11 and got seated right away on the patio. Was worried we wouldn't get seated bc it's brunch on the weekend but so happy we did. Service is ok, took a bit to get our order in and for refills since we couldn't find our server half the time. Food is yummy tho! Is it worth the wait mmm yes and no, if you have friends to talk and yap it up it's totally fine but I was hungry and it felt like a bit before getting our food even with being able to chat with friends. Got the corn beef hash and it was yummy but comes with so many potatoes. Wish there was more meat too. I like this spot for weekend date night- the outdoor patio is super cute and the service is great. Their bread is SO GOOD; my only beef is that they only come around once with it- it's so good you'll def want more. I had the NA froze which is not recommend- it was tart and not very tasty, but I love that they have NA options. The scallops and the seafood pasta were both incredible; cooked to perfection. We did call for a reservation, which they didnt have a record of but they sat us anyway- would recommend using open table instead. read more

Visited The Table in Willow Glen for the first time the other day and enjoyed brunch with family. The food and drinks were flavorful and delicious. Our server Cheyenne was delightful and attentive, as were her co-workers. Overall, it was a really nice experience and we look forward to going back next time we are in the area. read more

Great, friendly service, but bland food. Visited with a friend on a Saturday night and was able to get sat immediately on the heated patio. Service all around was very friendly and hospitable. After ordering we were served warm bread with some sort of clotted cream for spread. To drink I ordered the Last Monk and the special, salmon on a bed of kale and carrots along with polenta. The drink was nice and fruity, very refreshing. The entree itself was extremely bland, the only flavor was from the white sauce coating the veggies. Note about my friends dish, the pork chop- it was served with apple sauce, but its more like warm apple chunks, not saucy at all. Location is great and there is plenty of seating for larger groups. This restaurant is located in the heart of Willow Glen. Walking in they have a lot of seating options inside. I love their patio area weather permitting that is where I try to sit at . They have this delicious bread and butter to start with . We always get greeted with a smile . Our waiter that night was called I believe Jennifer she was super nice and attentive. We started off with some drinks they were definitely craft cocktails and very tasty . All the food we got that night was delicious. I think u can't go wrong with anything u pick . I went here for brunch bottomless mimosas I and ordered the Corned Beef and Hash! The Corned Beef was tender, juicy, and the 63 degree egg was a nice addition to it. This is definitely a good dish to get when you want the perfect Breakfast and Lunch type of combination. The service was great as they were very nice and always came back to us if we needed any assistance. I really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant as there are both indoor and outdoor seating! My table sat inside by the window but we were able to see the kitchen across from us which was nice to watch them cook. Next time I come back I will definitely ask to be seated outside! read more

We went early and there were many tables available. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu; but service was suprrisinly slow. I had been planning on indulging in an Eggs Benedict meal, but I learned that the egg is served in a slab of onion instead of an English muffin!!! No thanks! My husband and I thought we would try this place for our weekly date night. We've always been curious how the food is. I went out of my comfort zone and ordered one of the "specials". It was seared ahi tuna on top of sauteed kale and a light chili oil, with a light creamy mash on the bottom. My husband ordered the Salisbury steak and potatoes. I have been to this place many times and always loved there food. This time we got traditional breakfast with sausage & hash brown. Loved how they seasoned all the items on the plate. I have tried their pancakes and burgers in past and they have always maintained the food quality. I absolutely love coming back to this place. If you want to order for your pup, they have 3 options: puppachino, chicken or beef hamburger patty at $10, but not sure how much is the puppachino. The beef patty I think was 1/4lb? It looked hefty. The spritzer was also good and the bone marrow was also very good, but very oily. The sauce is a "deconstructed French onion soup"....but I don't remember french onion soup tasting and looking like bbq sauce. Was not expecting to be full from the bone marrow and toasted crostini. We had a great breakfast/ brunch at The Table on a Sunday morning. We were seated right away, we decided to enjoy the fall weather out on the patio. Service was very fast and friendly. I ordered the ube oat tea, which was really tasty. I skipped the whipped cream but even without, it was like drinking dessert. It really tastes like fruity pebbles/ trix. For breakfast, I ordered the crab avocado toast. Wow, really delicious. Perfectly seasoned and the roe gives the perfect amount of saltiness. I was surprised to hear the mimosas were only $16! As for the food, the portions were huge. The chilaquiles came with plenty of pork and two eggs, I had plenty of leftovers. Dined here with my wife and two boys (8 & 10). Overall I really liked the restaurant. We had great/friendly service, loved the atomsphere, really enjoyed having a cocktail before dinner. Also, I REALLY appreciate that they offer a kids menu- I wouldn't call this a kid's restaurant, but really enjoyed being able to take them (not sure why another WG rest. doesn't offer ANYTHING for kids...). They have a cool selection of small plates and entrees to choose from, but, the burgers my boys ordered (same as the adult burger) were awesome!!!!! My only knock is portion size. The service was fantastic! 5 stars ++ The food that we ordered "and there was a lot of it all came out in a timely fashion even the drinks and we must've ordered a good 30 drinks came out super fast! We ordered at least 4 appetizers.... Some kind of mild peppers, grilled tuna, meat balls and potatoes "all were excellent " 5 stars" I ordered the 9 oz steak with cubed potatoes and I believe it was Mexican ham. The steak itself I don't think was a quality cut of beef as it was chewy "at med rare" and had some big fat pieces on it as well, the flavor was excellent however "3 stars" I tried wifeys halibut, I thought it was good however there was an overpowering taste of Dijon imo 2 stars as well. I ordered a Moscow mule, they gave me a lime wedge with it on the side if the glass... um... it's supposed to be muddled at the bottom of the clash before you pour the ingredients in 2.5 stars for the Moscow Mule. I also ordered a Bailey's coffee with homemade whipping cream ""this one hit the mark" the whipping cream was outstanding and so was the drink 5 stars. Overall "imo" the service is outstanding, the appetizers are outstanding, the main dishes and drinks however are a hit and miss. 3.5 overall rating. read more

The ambiance was nice and the service was great. Sadly, the main dishes were just ok. We both decided on the two fish specials, Ono and Halibut. Presentation was nice but the dish was overcooked :(. And the corn risotto that accompanied the Ono was very soupy. The only food item that we enjoyed was the bread with the ricotta and olive oil and the zucchini cakes. The presentation was nice but it was just too creamy and undercooked for me. I don't recommend the 60 degree eggs unless you prefer them undercooked. The crab cake was soft, crunchy, and tasty. Came by for dinner the other night was a tasty and delightful experience. The Table is located in downtown Willow Glen with plenty of street parking around the restaurant. It felt like the restaurant was run by amateurs. We had one server. He was nice but he had to look at his notes a lot. He didn't know the ingredients in the milk punch. He didn't know what was in the red blend. It took him a minute to remember what was the table white and the table red, and just pointed to the print out. I was looking for the featured cocktail menu, which per the table of contents in the drink menu (which is a big book), is supposed to be page 8. But when you flip through, there's no page 8. It goes from 7 to 9. The server explained page 8 is technically a print out that's provided to us separately, which doesn't say it's page 8. Not sure why the bar staff can't just print a new page in the menu so it's not confusing but whatever. Then he was replaced with a different server. Also nice. Not sure why we had another server but whatever. The octopus was really good. The steak tartare was oily. It needed more capers and acid to cut through. There was a thick layer of oil on our plate when we were done. The minestrone was tasty. The ceviche was good. We ordered a Pinot Noir while we were eating. Much later though, a glass of red wine was served to us. We had already finished eating. It was Cab. It was full bodied and dark (we held a light behind it). We got up from the table to speak with the bartender, who wasn't friendly. We asked for a tasting of the Pinot. Compared it with our glass and they're totally different. We asked for a glass of the Pinot and he asked where we were sitting because our waiter should be helping us. Not sure why he can't just serve us right there since, being a bartender, he has access to glasses and wine too ... but again, whatever. We sat back down. Waited. Our waiter came out with the replacement Pinot and the check. We gave our cards to split evenly. He came back and he accidentally charged another table's check to our card, which was $100 more than our check. Apparently he tapped our card with a different transaction. So management had to void that. And then run our cards. Not sure how that happens to begin with but ... whatever. So now we're waiting for the transactions to process correctly. Hopefully, we don't have any issues. 1. Chefs - Your steak tartare is imbalanced with base vs acid. Everything else was fine. 2. Bar staff - Your drink menu is too long for your front of staff to keep up with. Also, either update the table of contents or print out a legitimate page 8 because it looks unprofessional and lazy. 3. Servers - You were really inconsistent. You're really nice but also all-over-the-place. 4. Management - Most mishaps are understandable. But for the ones where you're involved, like voiding an expensive transaction, you know very well it's your responsibility to talk to the customer directly, apologize for what would be a surprising and irritating inconvenience, and offer a make good before things escalate. Overall, food was decent. Service across the board was poor. read more
