I'm in town for work and was looking for a quick grab and go dinner. A friend in California said this place popped up on his TikTok and that I should try it, so big shoutout to marketing because that is some epic reach. I entered a little skeptical. It kind of looked like this place could be more gimmicky and I just care if the food tastes good. However, it wasn't bad at all. Actually, it was like pretty bomb. What I ordered: Aquas Frescas Horchata - 2/5 To me, this was a let down. It's just watery tasting. I'm gonna drink it because this dry heat is no joke, but meh. Chicken Quesadilla - 5/5 Yeah this was really good. It came with two sauces, one green tomatillo and one creamy red one. Both sauces, delicious. But the creamy red is super spicy so go in lightly at first. The chicken inside is perfectly seasoned and juicy. The cheese is on point. It's such a basic quesadilla, but they nailed it 100%. Oh and the customer service was good! The lady at the counter was friendly, let me know details about the items I was considering ordering without me asking her to. This Texan would definitely recommend.

Would give 0 stars. Service is very slow. Not enough people taking orders. Charged the wrong price multiple times. Very slow to receive food. Food portions are too small and overpriced. Only have fountain drinks, no brewed iced teas. Don't waste your money here

    Skimpy BIRRIA TACO

Ordered a 3 birria taco combo with consume. The portion was insulting. $17 for 3 tacos with barely any meat. I'm usually not one to complain about my food but I was not about to eat these like this. Brought it up to the counter and explained how there wasn't enough meat to call it a taco. The young lady went and talked to kitchen staff, she came back out and said "this is the normal amount they use in the tacos". LOL. She did bring me a small cup of more meat but it shouldn't even have come to this. I'm glad they tried to make it right but I'll never come back for portions like this for $17. The flavor was there but the value isn't.

Very nice employees, really cute interior of the restaurant and I was so excited to try this spot, however my order was wrong when I got home I ordered the Birria tacos with consome' and when I got home I had no consome' in my bag so that was super disappointing :( !! My tortillas were so soggy and they had wayyyy too much cheese inside of them, however the meat was pretty flavorful.

We were driving by and the Taco Spot caught our eye with the banner they have up! It's in a nice quiet plaza with good parking! It's cute inside with the wall art, they have a wonderful menu to order from. So many great options... We ended up getting the Birria Ramen & 2 Birria Tacos Combo Loaded fries and the burrito taco and fry combo! Everything was so satisfying, the tacos with the ramen were absolutely delicious the taco dipped in the spicy broth was mouthwatering literally couldn't wait for the next bite! I highly recommend this place, everything was satisfying and we will definitely be going back! The serving sizes were good and the atmosphere was great, clean and the employees were kind and helpful!

Waited 20 minutes and saw 4 people get their HUGE orders after me (they ordered in person). Mind you, all I ordered was 3 carne asada tacos and a cheese quesadilla. The food was sitting for about 10 minutes before they called my name. Customers around me did not know what personal space is. Also found a hair in my tangled in my bag.. Overall, I wouldn't recommend coming here- lost my appetite and food is probably cold now.

Tacos hit the spot on rainy nights! Ordered street tacos, the birria nachos, and Carne asada burrito. Pretty good, a little dry, but it hit the spot! The street tacos were a good price compared to the other places in the surrounding area

The portions are too small for the price and place honestly but they look cute still and tiny and my friend got a bowl and was so small with a big bowl lol

Parking lot was clean, loved the bright sign on the windows and doors walking up. As we walked in, the music and vibes were on point. I didn't know what reggaeton music was until my BF pointed it out but the music was awesome. The young ladies at the front greet us as we just in the line leaning on the wall looking at the menu to decide what we want. My boyfriend and I decided to get the Birria ramen/2 taco combo AND the burrito/taco/fries combo and split it. EVERYTHING was absolutely DELICIOUS holy freaking cow. My faaaavorite part was birria taco dipping in the ramen juice. So good wow. My bf works for UPS and he's driven by this place so many times so we finally tried it. He said he's for sure planning to stop on his route now LOL. We will be back. Thanks again!

I have never left a review in my life. Ever. But this place. The birria was so flavorless that it honestly pissed me off. All you taste is onion and cilantro. Red and green sauce didn't help one bit either. Besides that, the consume was also flavorless. Fries were the only halfway decent thing that I ordered. Plus two tacos and fries for $15? I shoulda went to unos down the street. I never see anyone at this place and honestly I understand why now.

Deceiving picture of Carne Asada This establishment needs help! Total BS will Warren and never recommend this place. SHAME

Authentic Mexican food sounded perfect and I knew good things were in store when I arrived at 11:30am on a Friday and all of inside and outside tables were full. The inside is quaint but has quite a few tables. They also have tables out front in the shade (to call it patio seating may be a stretch, just simple tables and chairs on the exterior of the entrance). You order your food at the counter and I didn't study the menu ahead of time but the ladies taking my order were patient with me. I ordered a shredded beef taco and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Nothing fancy for my first time as it's hard to golf on a full stomach! I found the only open table and then hit up the salsa bar. They have 4 or 5 different salsas/hot sauces and a few other goodies. I got a small cup of each sauce and all of them were quite good. My food was colorful, flavorful and just the right away to give me some energy without being lethargic. I could go on about a few other nice things but it seems most of East Mesa already knows about this place given the high scores on Yelp from a lot of reviewers. Nothing to prevent me from giving a 5* review at this time. I look forward to trying some more dishes in the future.

The parking lot outside was parking so we thought we may have to wait, but inside was not busy yet and we were seated immediately. I ordered the smoked chicken enchilada as I saw it was a Yelp favorite and it was delicious. I ended up taking half of it home since we all filled up on chips and salsa before our meal. This restaurant is decorated so cutely. I love how there is a Baja influence with all the surf boards but also southwest appeal. There is plenty of seating and tables for big groups. Even with other people yapping around us, the noise level was perfect to enjoy company. 10/10 would recommend.
