This place has no seating so be prepared to take it to-go. It's located inside a liquor store. The owner was super nice and he took our orders and gave is recommendations. We loved all of the tacos we tried! I love that they load the tacos with a lot of meat and the tortillas are thicker. I normally can chow down on 4+ tacos because I'm a fatty but after 2 tacos, I was very satisfied! First few times we loved this place but last few times it hasn't been the best. Staff seems very unorganized and food is inconsistent. For example loved the quesadillas before and birria tacos but recently we got super soggy tacos (after asking for crispy) and quesadilla was burnt. Literally opened the to-go box and smelled burn. Portions are good though and price fair. Just hope they shape up and train their cooks better and improve their quality at the least. read more

The Taco Station is a cool little place located inside a liquor store. The guy working there was nice and helped us out with recommendations. I got a cali burrito which was a pretty sizable amount of food though I was able to finish it even after eating some carne asada fries as well. I wish the burrito had more fries and less beans. We got both red and green salsas but to be honest they were both mediocre. Carne asada fries were a good size but lacked some toppings. First timer and this is by far the best taco place in Orange County. The food was amazing with friendly atmosphere and very welcoming attentiveness. We religiously come here on Sunday mornings to get their grilled chicken special. A whole chicken with a side of rice, beans, corn tortillas, and a drink. If they have horchata, go with that. It's primarily a take out place, but there are two or three small tables with chairs out front for those who would like to eat there. The drill is you place your order and take the ticket they give you to the cash register to pay. Before long, your food is ready. The menu is pretty basic. The following are offered: tacos of course, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, rice, and beans. Some of the best places have simple menus. This place is one of them. So far, I've tried the Carne Asada tacos, the Birria tacos, the Cecina tacos, the Chicken Al Pastor tacos, and a breakfast burrito with Carne Asada added. The tacos were all great, and I will certainly be back for more of them. However, I didn't care for the breakfast burrito on account of what I considered to be too much in the way of potatoes, and the burrito tasted rather bland to me as if something was missing. The half chicken we ate may have been the best chicken ever had! So so so fresh. The inside of the "station" has tacos, burritos, but back to the pollo asado-oh my gosh. You have to try it. Just know that the grills and pollo asado are only available on the weekends. Everything else was great-beans, rice, corn. Tortillas, and agua Fresca. Now about the ambiance-Taco Station looks like it used to be a gas station, hence the name. We ate outside at a plastic table with our dog lying at our feet. It was great for us. This place was great!! The meat was tender, consume was flavorful, and the salsas were spicy! My only issue is that this lid was cracked and stacked to go on the bottom of two more containers. Went on a Friday and the female cashier was not friendly at all, kind of rude actually. I tried the tacos de cecina with nopales and they were just ok, nothing out of the ordinary.
