Visited The Tea with my wife on a Saturday evening and it was pretty chill. There's two self ordering kiosks by the front desk which is always a nice sight to see. They have some tables but not enough for a place to hangout to be honest. Their whole concept is pretty much a open kitchen, order and walk to the back and wait for your order. Can get pretty cramped but that's just how their shop is designed. Parking - Free in a one way outdoor lot. If it's full, there's the plaza right next door and/or street parking, plenty overall.

Their menu is quite extensive, from teas, boba, coffee, fruit teas, they've got it all. For first timers, they have a signature section which I think is basically their most popular drinks, they're all recommended to try. My wife...

and I ordered the Oreo Matcha Brulee and the Uji Matcha Latte to share, both came out pretty quickly, around 5 minutes or so. I'm a huge sucker for oreo matcha brulee type drinks and this place made it perfectly. Each sip is full of the ingredients, very refreshing, and perfect sweetness in my opinion with 30% - 60% sugar level. Overall, great tea shop, it's pretty ironic to find a place that's just called "The Tea" which can be hard to search up, but their drinks are high quality, staff is quick, and their shop is clean. Very impressed.

enough. It's sour. Up the sweetness. 3. Fresh Strawberry Matcha Latte with Boba 5/10 - 60% sweet is not sweet enough. It is bitter. Up the sweetness for this one. My husband said it's fresh matcha. They were whisking it and was told the matcha was from Japan. 4. Lemon Honey Black Tea with Coffee Jelly 6/10 - 60% is not sweet enough. It's a bit sour for me. Up the sweetness and do not get the coffee jelly.

Came Back for Our Usual... Left With Feelings About Parking & Sugar Levels Hubby and I decided to circle back to one of our top 3 favorite boba spots (not that our list is super long lol), because after a delicious hot pot dinner we were seriously craving their Coco Mango. First things first... the parking here still deserves its own Yelp review. Whoever designed that parking situation... respectfully... why Parking still sucks, but we powered through. That said, it was actually really nice seeing this place busy and packed last night -- probably around 15-20 people inside. I was weirdly happy about it because I'd be genuinely sad if this place ever closed. Always good seeing people supporting a spot you love. We ordered our usual Coco Mango, and since I was feeling adventurous, I also tried the Dragon Fruit Aiyu. And not gonna lie... the Dragon Fruit Aiyu was delicious. Super refreshing, the dragon fruit tasted fresh, and the jelly inside was such a nice touch. Definitely a solid 8.5/10 for me. My drink was $6.95 and honestly worth trying if you want something fruity and lighter. Now for the Coco Mango... This drink usually never misses. The sweet coconut with that tart mango blend is usually chef's kiss every single time. We've probably been here close to 10 times, which is why I immediately noticed it tasted a little different last night. I ordered mine with the extra lychee popping boba (+$1), so total was $7.95, and I'd rate it around a 6.8/10 this visit. My husband always tells me to stop doing 70% sugar because "either commit or don't" and honestly... he might've been right this time. But even aside from that, both the coconut topping and mango felt less sweet than usual and just didn't have that bold flavor we normally love. Maybe it was because they were extra busy and moving fast -- totally understandable -- but it was the first time it felt a little less magical than usual. Still... one off night absolutely won't stop us from coming back because when that Coco Mango hits, it hits. We'll definitely be back and hoping next time our beloved Coco Mango returns in all its usual sweet, coconutty, mango glory. Happy drinks!

PARKING: It's a big lot, just be careful going in and out. The intersection is bonkers. SEATING: Lots of seating inside for people who want to chat or just to wait around for the drinks. The ambiance was very chill. SERVICE: It was self service so there was no cashier interaction. I did have questions concerning the drinks but all the boba-ristas were busy making drinks. I also didn't want to walk the long stretch as I couldn't bring the menu with me. FOOD: I was feeling matcha and all the reviews are saying that's their best drinks. I got the sesame creme matcha latte with one of the jellys because it was free but I don't remember which. Pretty solid! Not the best matcha I've had at a boba shop but it is up there! Had a good flavor but it did feel a bit watered down imo. OVERALL: I would come back if I was in the area. I just wish that there was more communication between the boba-ristas and customers in terms of if anyone has questions but I get the lack of it due to staffing issues.

I came here today with a friend to study and was deciding between the Coco Mango and the Pomelo Mango. I ended up choosing the Coco Mango. I honestly hate leaving negative reviews for businesses, but I was extremely disappointed with this drink. For nearly $8, the cup was filled with what felt like almost two cups of ice, a small amount of condensed milk and coconut milk, a light drizzle of mango, and only a few mango pieces. The drink did not feel worth the price at all. In areas with a lot of strong competition, restaurants and drink shops naturally have to improve their quality because customers have plenty of better options to choose from. Competition pushes businesses to become more creative, improve their recipes, and provide better value. But when customers continue supporting a place regardless of the quality, there is very little pressure for that business to change. Why improve the product when people keep buying it anyway? I hope they take customer feedback seriously. I would genuinely like to see them improve the portion size, flavor, and overall value of this drink. Unfortunately, I left feeling like I had wasted my money and honestly wished I could have received a refund. On a positive note, parking was easy, and the facility was clean.

I'm giving them 5 start based on their coffee. I got the Seasalt Cream OG and 2 toasted brown sugar Boba milks. The coffee was amazing. My husband makes me a coffee from a phin everyday day for work and this is exactly what it taste like except the cream which elevated the coffee even more. We came back from Vietnam and the coffee in America has been subpar. This has been the only place that I would come back to consistently. Only for their coffee. My children like the Toastes Brown Sugar Boba and finished it quicker than most other places. There is a touch screen to order. I was nicely greeted when I walked in and the store was very clean with a a lot of seating. I found it odd that the middle was long and you have to walk towards the back to get your drink. But overall I'm coming back for that coffee!!!

Heard great things about The Tea so finally gave them a shot! They have a large menu, the inside has a few table seating in the front and some 2-seaters on the edges. We ordered a couple items from their signature menu, the matcha yuzu and the Oreo milk. We realized after ordering that the Oreo milk had no tea in it, there's one that is called Oreo milk tea so something to be aware of. Matcha was hand whisked but not super strong. Both drinks tasted good! Matcha yuzu had yuzu bits in it and the Oreo milk although just milk lol was still good. Would come back to try other flavors!

The tea??? Yes please ‍‍‍ Did you see that extra effort it kind of rhymed. The incredible effort on my part is because the tea and boba here are very good. The flavors yum. Prices seem pretty standard for LA. Service is nice too, have a self order kiosk but the people are nice. Ambiance also nice. My mother thinks it smells good in here. Back at our favorite tea place - The Tea. My son got his usual Or-Lichee drink. Plenty of table seating at around 5:46pm. We like the atmosphere and would come back to this location anytime that we are in town. Service is fine. We called our drink in over the phone so all we need to do is pay and go. We got the Passionfruit Green Tea and Lychee Aiyu. Passionfruit GT at regular sweetness was a tad bit too sweet for our preference, we recommend getting 50-75%. Lychee Aiyu at regular sweetness was good. They have very limited tables for anyone looking to hang or work here.

I really like the tea bc they have really great non-caffeinated drink options. I have tried their Coco Mango, Coconut Taro blend, fruit tea, and smashed Avocado. All were tasty and, with 30% sweet, it wasn't too sweet. Parking - there are only 2 spots right outside the store. But there is plenty of nearby parking as the have two lots to the left and right of the store. The only reason for 4/5 is because no one greets you when you walk in. The workers always look mad is it just me? They're usually on their phone. BUT it doesn't affect the speed of them getting ur order out. So I do appreciate that.

The hubby normally likes it sweet, and it's even too sweet for him. $7 Nice place to sit and chat. You get the natural sunlight from the big window by the seats. Got it after the katsu place a few shops away.

I got a matcha latte with black sesame cream. I enjoyed this very much and definitely want to come back and try more drinks! There are a couple ordering screens at the front and the cashier will also help as well when it's busy. The space is clean and there's a couple tables and chairs to hang out with friends and family. Lots of parking available in the front and back.

I like this place, I've gone a few time. When it first opened it was the best, and I would go about 2 times a week. I'd always get a matcha but they eventually ran out of matcha. One worker had said I should get a hojija since it's similar to matcha. So I got it and it didn't taste like what I would get at all. I understand it was a different drink but to compare it to the matcha drink was not it. Their matcha has a bit sweetness with a bit umami, while the hojija tasted like a seaweed drink. Which was just not my fav. I had stopped going for a while and went recently, I was waiting for someone to take me order, but then when someone came up they asked me to order on the screen. Which was a bit unfortunate for me since I wanted to ask a few questions. But working the self kiosk was easy. The workers are nice, and the place is pretty large, I like that you go towards the back to wait for your drink very smart! I would go again but wouldn't plan my day around it! They do have very interesting drinks. Oh and the strawberry blending one taste very yummy, sweet but has good flavor. read more

My new go to for matcha drinks. You can tell that they're using quality product. A lot of boba shops used premade matcha mixes or lower grade matcha, so the drinks are always made very fast. Here, the matcha is prepared on a per drink basis which makes for a longer wait for your drink, but it's well worth it. I'd recommend going 60% sweetness. read more

I was lucky to find "The Tea" one day when my favorite boba place closed early for the day. When I first came into the shop, I was hit with amazing smell of fresh brewed tea. I knew for sure that I was in the right place. The first time I ordered the Mango Pomelo Sago. A refreshing drink that was made perfectly. I got my brother the signature house tea which he said was fresh and not to sweet. The next time I came I orders the #18 Mellow Milk Tea and my brother got the toasted Oreo Milk Tea. Both were fresh and refreshing ( and I am not a milk tea person). I've been to the tea shop 4 times in the last week and each time the drinks and hospitality has been wonderful. Great quality matcha! I tried the Uji matcha latte. I came to try the ceremonial grade matcha and was not disappointed! You could taste the quality. If you like your matcha on the sweeter side keep the level as regular if you want more earthy taste, do less sugar and light ice. It was my first time here and I tried regular sugar level first and was very happy with the quality and taste. For those saying it's pricey...quality costs. The prices are not unreasonable tho especially for the quality received. There are a couple of tables inside. Parking to the side of the building, although all spots are compact, worst case is to park across the street for regular parking size. Will definitely be coming back again! read more

The service here is great and the drinks are out of this world! Connie and Dave helped me and they were both super sweet and helpful! I think my favorite is either the matcha or the golden milk tea. Both are very good. Even at varying levels of sweetness the drinks are all wonderful. They brew strong, quality drinks here! The location is also super cute and I really like the decor. I ordered the strawberry lemonade and if my drink was judged as a strawberry lemonade, it would be terrible. However, if you were to judge my drink as a strawberry green tea, it'd be great! It's a bit misleading to have "strawberry lemonade" listed on the menu under the "Fresh Fruit" section with no mention of tea associated in the heading or description and then to receive tea in my strawberry lemonade. I will give credit to the employee was kind enough to remake my drink for free with extra sweetness added, BUT STILL, WHY IS THERE TEA IN THE LEMONADE?! I did also check to make sure the label on the original drink did say "Strawberry Lemonade" and not "Strawberry Green Tea". I also mentioned to the employee, who made both the original drink and the second drink, that my strawberry lemonade tasted like it had tea in it. She replied that it was supposed to have tea. She also very clearly paused and reread the label on the original drink, so it was very clear between the two of us that my drink should be strawberry lemonade. Lol maybe be a bit more clear on the menu about what drinks actually contain tea. read more

went to order the "toasted brown sugar boba milk" and the cashier said the "Golden mellow milk tea" is the same drink as the "toasted brown sugar boba milk". It clearly isn't since they are both two top DIFFERENT signature drinks. Really don't like it when cashiers try to persuade you to change your drink or give their opinion on the order without being asked. I tried to then say but "its not since they are two separate drinks on the menu" the cashier still said they are the same. Really dissatisfied that I didn't get to try the toasted brown sugar milk. I prefer the "milk" since there is no caffeine while milk teas have caffeine. If it's really the same, why have it as two separate names? Makes no sense. read more

Not really a fan of boba my cousin brought me there to try!I got a matcha and my cousin got pomelo sago!their matcha taste 100 per cent like Starbuck and you can tell they using premium grade!also took a sip of my cousin pomelo omg like you're eating mango so natural doesn't seems like they using something artificial definitely it's must try place for anyone seeking for quality and refreshing drinks read more

Honestly speaking I'm very picky on Boba quality but this place touch my heart!so far they're the best In monterrey park not to said LA have parking issues for first visit trying to park in front shop but I realize they do have parking in the back nice atmosphere and I do see stuff keep cutting mangoes they do really use everything fresh with is rare they do not use artificial products all fresh made!I got a new gem!little wait time around 15 minutes but I think it's normal for standard drinks read more

I came in on a friday night and it was packed. The line was long but the wait wasn't too bad. The staff were friendly and quick when it came to taking orders and making the drinks. I got a mango pomelo sago at 60% and it was perfect! My father got the coco taro and you can really taste the quality of their taro! Both drinks had so much flavor and the perfect amount of sweetness. 10/10 would recommend visiting this boba shop!!:) read more

came here just to get a milk tea around 4:45pm, it was honestly so generic for the price. waited like 20 something minutes and honestly didn't even think i was going to receive my order anytime soon. environment was incredibly hostile and uncomfortable, heard arguing in the back of the store and this older guy, i'm assuming the manager, stormed out. just weird and uncomfortable, don't think ill be coming back here. read more

not bad interior, only shop in the plaza but next to a big one w other boba spots to compete, anyways the boba is not bad, drinks aren't terrible for the price it's normal. service is fine nothing bad, sometimes get drinks mixed up and it's clean but not terrible boba spots. definitely one to try if have tried a LOT of boba spots in the 626 area. read more

It's very hard to find the perfect boba shop where my wife, kid, and I can all enjoy but I think we found the spot. My daughter loves her matcha and she says it's "high" quality for her standards. Their smashed avocado is really creamy and it's good with 60%. I haven't found a spot that tastes similar to the ones I used to get back in Vietnam corner shops. My wife tried their sea salt coffee 60% and it was pretty good too. Strong bitter coffee place. The tea all rounder. read more

Came here for matcha it was so good. You can really taste the matcha unlike other boba shops. Most of the time boba shops have weak matcha. The baristas were so patient when I was asking questions about their drinks. They gave me a lot of insight and opinions. Although wait can take some time due to the popularity. Every time I come in the line is so long and you almost feel bad for the workers... I came near soft opening before and the drinks kind of taste different but still good. You can tell they are still trying to make their recipes better. When I first came the drinks were sweet. It is better now but I would recommend less sweet for the drinks. read more

I came here on a Sunday afternoon after seeing that the line at Chicha San Chen was too long to wait for. There was pretty much no line to order. Drinks did take long to be served but OMG it was so good. It has been a while since I have been amazed by a tea shop. As I went to pick up our order towards the back of the store, I noticed the staff actually cutting up fresh fruit to use in their drinks. Once I saw that they were using real ingredients, the wait seemed worth it to me. I got their mango pomelo sago and the mango flavor was so fresh! My boyfriend got their Oreo matcha brulee and it reminded us of Omomo, but better because it was that perfect not too sweet balance (iykyk). My brother's girlfriend got their strawberry yogurt drink and she also agreed the sugar level was the perfect balance! The strawberry taste was real strawberry! Not that fake strawberry syrup! My brother got some boring coffee and I didn't want to try that but he said it was good. My boyfriend is by no means a coffee connoisseur but even he liked the coffee. The drinks are fine. However, Ive gone twice and both times I ran into a good number of issues. They are consistently out of drinks, most probably cause theyre popular. The wait timea are an ordeal. The first time I waited 30 minutes for 2 drinks. The second, I waited close to an hour for three drinks. The management is nonexistant because theyve repeatedly forgotten my order and theyre calling out to people to ask them to remind them what the order was. They also miss items in my order (asled for and paid for aiyu, but didnt get it). Lastly, they are avoidant of people. When i tried to grab someone to get some info on my order, everyone would avoid eye contact and try to shimmy away from me. Left in a very sour mood and the drinks were unremarkable. A truly regretable experience. read more

Tucked in off Atlantic, the Tea doesn't have a single item on the menu this is a skip. Seriously been through nearly all of the signature drinks they're all refreshing and tasty. Honesty this place is trash. All the staffs that are working there take their sweet time and are slow af. Like they take their sweet time making the drinks but yet it still taste like shit. It took me almost 35mins to get my drinks and it was not busy at all. Even people that ordered after us got their drinks first. read more

Great new tea shop that opened up in the area. Their fruit teas are really refreshing and aren't overwhelmingly sweet, and according to them use real fruit juice and not syrups. Definitely worth checking out if you're around and want a new place to try out. read more

Swung by this new place after the gym and got the lychee ai-yu. Very refreshing! All the drinks looked great and I actually had trouble deciding what to get. The owners (I presume) greeted us and were friendly. Bold of them to post up next to Sunright and Macchiato, but I think they'll do just fine. This place is amazing! Their drinks is freshly made with fresh and high quality ingredients. I really enjoy my coffee with sea salt foam and my gf really enjoy her matcha green tea which was rich and flavorful. Service was excellent! They were busy but it was worth the wait. Very nice and clean inside. I believe they are just soft open but will come back to try their other drinks before other people find out and then the wait/line will probably be a lot longer lol. So come try them out before it gets insane :p read more

We ordered the Sugar Cane Float to enjoy there and a half gallon of sugarcane juice to bring home. The float was unexpectedly good! Better than anticipated. We chose vanilla ice cream (they also had coconut, coffee, and another flavor I can't remember), and the two scoops melted into the sugarcane juice, giving it a creamy, almost milkshake-like texture while still tasting refreshing. I've never seen this offered at Vita Cane before, and now I'm already planning to come back to try the coconut version. When our half gallon was ready, she recommended portioning it out and freezing anything we wouldn't drink within three days so it would stay fresh. Good advice... except we ended up finishing the entire thing in two days! If you're a sugarcane juice fan and think all sugarcane juice tastes the same, Fresh Cane might change your mind. The difference between fresh and frozen cane is surprisingly noticeable, and this has easily become one of my favorite spots in SGV for a refreshing drink.

I was really looking forward to my visit, but unfortunately, it didn't meet expectations. I specifically asked for less ice in my drink, but it seemed like it came with a full cup of ice instead. On top of that, the tea wasn't as strong or flavorful as what I've had at the other location, which was disappointing. To make things worse, the store felt unorganized, despite there being 5 staff members on duty and the store not even being busy. With that many people working, I expected faster service and a more polished experience. Overall, not impressed, will not be back. Guess i will have to stick with the one in Hacienda Heights even though this location is much closer to me. read more

I ordered online pick up from Door Dash. No one confirmed and canceled my order. My order is $40-$50 with 6 drinks. When I went to the store to order from the Kiosk, I overheard the staffing inside laughing and messing around my order on the phone. When I submitted my order, those staffs just realized that I heard their conversation about my order. One skinny lady cane out to say sorry. However, I'd like to have the respect from the other staffs too. Bad customer service. Those staffs didn't learn anything about customer service skills. Hopefully the owner will educate them again. I came before their opening and got the coco mango. It was so good! There was a good amount of mango and it was blended well. I came back again the day of opening and got the same drink and it wasn't as tasty as before :( the ice chunky and there was barely any mango.
