    The Diablo pizza! Soooo good
    Liv L.

This was such a fun find! We stopped for dinner after a day of exploring and the food was excellent! We got an order of mozzerella sticks (yum) with their homemade marinara (double yum!). We also ordered their Diablo pizza which was excellent- it was a fun twist on typical pizza toppings. Shrimp might be my new favorite topping. We ordered a large and it was giant! They actually have the mammoth which is one size larger too . The service was amazing- the staff were so friendly and accommodating- really appreciate it!! Restaurant had a nice cozy vibe to it! Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area!

    Sierra wave- half without olives

Needed some carbs before hiking the Big Pine Lakes trail the next day and this place delivered :)! I wouldn't say their pizza is the most outstanding pizza ever but it was pretty good! I ordered the Sierra Wave which included so many ingredients such as garlic, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, olives, artichoke and jalapeños. I liked that I was able to custom order the pizza by requesting that only half included olives. It also noticed that they had quite a few pasta options on their menu. This pizza spot is very close to the hotels in Bishop. Their service was great and the restaurant was clean. I would just say this place needs a little more work on their ambiance, since it is a little dull inside.

Minestrone soup and a small garden salad without olives cheese or dressing.

My son and I came in on a Sunday. It wasn't very busy and took them a few minutes to seat us. I got minestrone and a small garden salad without cheese olives or dressing. The salad was bigger than I expected it was crisp and cold. A little wet but I enjoyed it. The minestrone was good. It was probably the highlight of the meal for me. My son got a kid cheese pizza which was a pretty big portion for a little guy. I ended up eating one slice of it. It was pretty cheesy and a bit doughy but he enjoyed it. All in all I thought it was pretty good. It wasn't stand out but it was a perfectly fine dining experience.

The Wave Pizza and I added pepperoni, it was SO Good! I'll definitely stop here again on my road trip!

The service was great, and the food tasted amazing! I'll definitely be back! Got a pitcher of beer for under 20!

Been here twice in the last 2 months and I can not complain. The staff was friendly and the food was great. We ordered a garden salad, antipasta salad, garlic bread and wings. The place is nice for families and big groups. Only suggestion is add a little more toppings to the pizza. Overall great place and we will be coming back for a 3rd time

    Small pizza. Pepperoni and Jalapeno

We were passing through Bishop and we were craving Italian. We saw the couple of options of The Upper Crust and the Pizza factory. Glad we went to the Upper Crust! Pizza was delicious, crust was light. My wife had the special and loved the salad and spinach lasagna. Tasted like a grandmother trattoria made the food. Place is great for couples and families! Do not be fooled by the name of pizza! They offer entire Italian cuisine.

Good service but the pasta we ordered were really not good. Badly cooked with too much cream. Too bad for a place with such reviews.

We were in the mood for burgers and they were excellent! My Western burger patty was so real and homemade and flavorful. The bbq sauce tastes homemade. And unfortunately, the wait was not worth it. The fish tacos were extremely dry and overcooked, with barely any salsa on top. The carne asada in the burrito was full of gristle and had a strange, almost off-putting smoky flavor that made the whole thing difficult to eat. THE BURRITO WAS $30!! The meal all together was $70 and we got robbed. ROBBED. The service itself was okay, and I will give credit where it's due: the cook actually came out and asked if we liked our food. I was honest and told him we didn't. He took the feedback with a positive attitude, which I genuinely appreciated. But unfortunately, that doesn't change the experience. Between the hour-long wait and the quality of the food, I honestly don't understand how this place has a 4.9 rating. It is BAFFLING to me. I wouldn't come back and honestly, I wouldn't return even if the food were 50% off.

Unfortunately, ever since the ownership changed, the experience has gone downhill. The customer service is consistently rude and unwelcoming. It feels like staff are irritated just having to take your order. The food is now overpriced for the quality you get, which is a big change from how it used to be. I stopped going for about a year, but recently decided to give it another chance. I called in an order for myself and my disabled grandfather, who only has one arm. I politely asked multiple times if they could please cut the steak for him and even explained why. They clearly seemed annoyed by the request. When I picked up the food, everything looked rushed and just thrown into the boxes--and the steak was not cut. The rest of the meal was just as disappointing. The taquitos were plain with only cheese on top--no sides like guacamole or sour cream, especially disappointing for the price. The loaded potato wasn't even "loaded," just a plain potato. Between the poor service, lack of care, and declining food quality, this place is nothing like it used to be. It's honestly sad to see something that used to feel welcoming and enjoyable turn into somewhere I now dread going. I wouldn't recommend stopping here anymore. I think there were probably around a dozen. They look like they were a part of some type of organized group that probably frequent bowling alley. I thought it was really sweet the local high school graduates pictures on the wall. Actually, they were hanging. But nonetheless, I thought that was really awesome. The bowling alley is very small. I didn't quite catch how many lanes there were, but there are not many. There is a bar and I believe they do serve food there as well but we were not there for either. We wanted to get some information and to see what it might cost, but I have to say, after going in there and being overlooked for so long... we ended up leaving. I got a lot of funny looks. Maybe it was because we obviously looked like we were just passing through the town. I am not sure. All I can say is that it looked like a cute lil local bowling alley, that small town feeling for sure.
