My family just finished a very yummy and pleasant meal at the Upper Crust on our way to our hotel in Lone Pine. We knew if we waited until Lone Pine our options would be limited and we would be eating late. We had the mozzarella sticks appetizer. They were cooked well--not over done. Daughter ordered the Fettuccine Milan. It had a creamy, mild sauce. She loved it. We also ordered a couple pizzas. We liked how the crust was a bit crispy on the outside and yet chewy on the inside, and the top was not overdone. Yay! We were thrilled to find outdoor seating which allowed us to all dine together with the dog near us. Our server was very nice and did a good job of checking in on us. She brought water for Skipper. We shared a slice of Tiramisu, perhaps not as light as some, but tasty. Getting the check processed took longer than we hoped, but pretty minor. Overall, we had a great family dinner. read more

We had a very nice experience here. We went for dinner on a Saturday night, and got a table almost immediately. It was quiet when we were there, though the restaurant was about 2/3 full. The hostess was a little clueless and brought me the wrong drink, but our waiter was completely amazing. All we had to do was think about wanting something, and there he was! We had a custom pizza on their thin crust, which was excellent. Be sure to save room for dessert, though. Their Italian Rum Cake is seriously the best I've ever had, and their chocolate cake looked just as good! They have wine & beer (nice selection!), but a full bar would be a good addition. read more

Heading home from Mammoth lakes to Ventura, we stopped to get some lunch to go. 3 pizzas. Small Mexican, medium cheese, and large pepperoni. We highly recommend it. Crust was great, the sauce was great, and the Mexican pizza was out of this world! Staff was friendly, and very helpful. when asked what they recommended, they had alot of input. First time I've EVER reviewed a restaurant...my daughter and I stopped here by chance on the way to a wedding in Tahoe and it was wonderful...portions are generous (but not ridiculous), and service was great. Our server, Vicente, was wonderful. We split a salad and had the best bbq chicken pizza I've ever had. The pizza and sandwiches were good. The place used to have good wings but the last few time we have gotten them they have been gross and we had to send them back. The chipotle ones are just dipped in cold canned chipotle it taste like. It is not cooked on and there is so much sauce they are inedible. read more

Super fast delivery, said 45 minutes, came in 20. Three different pizzas with 7 different toppings. The 10 year old, 15 year old and the 85 year old all declared them the "BEST" pizza ever; the 86 year old said "one of the best ever." read more

This is the only pizza place I eat at in Bishop. The staff is always friendly, they have a good selection of beer, and the variety of pizzas is good. This isn't mind-blowing pizza, but it's tasty, it's inexpensive, and it's always ready quickly. read more

With out doubt the best FEED I have had in the USA since I've been here ( 3 weeks) all fresh ingredients made on site . We all had different meals and all had the same comment ,FANTASTIC . We just ate here for the first time and loved it. The Caesar salad had very fresh and crisp lettuce, the croutons were baked to a crisp without being greasy and the dressing was traditionally good. If you're ordering for delivery, you may well want to consider "Digiorno" instead. I'd like to say this was the first time they lost our order, but no. Fact is, if you visit this place in person, I suspect you will have a decent enough dining experience, albeit a pricy one. But they really have issues with fulfilling delivery orders. The last straw was our recent order for two medium pizzas (for a whopping $60!) We waited for an hour and a half before finally calling to check on our order, when we were told by the person on the phone it was on the way. "The Driver left ten minutes ago and should be there shortly" we were assured. 30 minutes later, we called again. After some words with the manager, we received our "discounted" order after another 15 minutes. Considering this was not the first time this has happened, and considering we were blatantly lied to about the status of our order, we will not be ordering from Upper Crust Pizza anymore. if you want "another pizza" ok..go here.. forget any real al dente pasta.. they were never taught to cook pasta. they probably never had pasta cooked correctly.. sure, it take about 10 minutes to properly cook pasta and it is joyful to behold. mushy pre-cooked pasta is disgusting and lazy... so forget any pasta and get the pizza and yawn on..... ignorance is bliss... read more

I've had better pizza at Chuck-E-Cheeses! Went with a group of people on a not so busy night. It took then 15 minutes to take our drink order. This was only after one of my party members asked the waitress. Then another 15 minutes to take our food order. Finally after another 40 minutes we had to enquire of the whereabouts of our pizza. The waitress then enquirer what we had ordered, like it was news to her that we where even eating. She then proceeds to check and informs us that it is coming right out. When our pizza finally arrives it's seems to be undercooked, like they took it out of the oven to hurry it along rather than tell us it will be a while longer. Sauce was flavorless and the topping where subpar. I'm talking oversized undercooked chunks of 3 day old produce and meat bought from the managers special at the grocery store. Not to mention th pizza cost 30 bucks for a 19". Then our waitress asks us how the food is. I told her it was the worst pizza I ever had. Her response was pure astonishment to the fact that someone actually gave her anything but the standard good. So she just walked away. Bottom Lin this place will be out of business within the year. And the town of bishop will be much better for it. Bad service, bad food, bad price, my dog looks like he enjoys eating his crap more than the leftover pizza he refused from this place. read more
