2nd visit here, this time we all ordered handheld for lunch. My son liked the whiskey burger and I had the same. Hubby had the fried hot chicken with the sauce on the side. The sauce is actually spicy so definitely considered that's. We had good and fast service for a Friday lunch time so that was good. Solid lunch option.

The tuna burger with sweet potato fries were delicious! The tuna burger was nicely seasoned and cooked. The sweet potato fries were perfectly done too, not too crispy and not too soft, yum! I went here because I was in the area for a Yelp event. Someone familiar with the area recommended The Whiskey Kitchen. Apparently they have a cool happy hour. From the outside I was worried I was underdressed so I decided to order dinner to go. But once in there I realized it's fancy but super chill vibes inside. Staff were so so sweet! Parking is easy. Place is huge. I'd go back if I'm in the area . It was an overall yummy dinner and relaxed atmosphere and experience.

There is a reason why we are regulars here. Sure the vibe, great food, drinks etc but there are times when things get mixed up. Wrong order, food is slightly off or whatever it may be. We had a tiny slip tonight, but the way it was handled, the grace and desire to make it right...made it even more solidified. We really appreciate the hospitality and approach taken, even with something small. Thank you for being great!

Stopped in with my family for lunch. Nice looking place on the inside with several lunch options. I thought the food was OK. The burger was very bland and overall, everyone just said it was OK. I did get to try funnel cake fries, where were pretty tasty! Would I go back? I'm honestly not sure.

Food, service, ambiance were all great! Man's Best Friend drink was yummy! We all enjoyed our meals! 3 of us got the Chimichurri steak and it was very good! Tuna burger, chili, Margherita pizza, Citrus Salmon all good! But Steak Frites wasn't the best. Everything else though, perfect!

It was my second time at this restaurant, the first visit we were about 20 people. With a party that big the service was pretty good the food arrived fast the servers were attentive so that was great. The food was pretty good everyone really enjoyed what they had. I agreed to check out a second time with some friends to see how the service would change from a 20 person party to a 3. The server was prompt with the drinks, we offered three different dishes and asked if they could all be split because we were all going to share they did just that the food was really good. The place had a lot natural lighting so if you're looking for dim this is not the place but they do have booth's, I like booths. Overall good experience will be back especially for that Rockefeller chicken sandwich and spicy ranch.

My daughter and I came here on a Thursday evening for an early dinner. They were not busy so we scored a nice booth immediately. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. This was both our first time so we needed more time figuring out what we wanted. She ordered the cauliflower bites appetizer and the beet salad. She was happy with both. I opted for the veggie pizza with cauliflower crust. It was delicious! Everything was great here. The service was great. The decor was appealing and welcoming. The food was very tasty. They even have mocktails. I can't wait to go back and try more from the menu.

Stopped by for a burger and a beer to drown in my solitude. Had great service. Prompt, attentive and genuine. Only downside was some pretentious guy named Jeff kept whining about the hostess and the service being "special needs" because he couldn't get his group prompt service under 15 minutes on a special holiday. If it wasn't for some derogative guy whining off the bell about how the service wasn't up to par every couple minutes I'd have enjoyed what would've been quite a depressing day for me. Other than that, burger was damn heavenly. Beer was cold and good. Service was grand. Some people just ruin it for others. Great spot, great burger, good beer and good folks. B.W.

The last time I set foot inside their Pleasure House Rd location was at least 10 years ago. I celebrated my birthday there as my friends were kind enough to take me out. It was a Sunday morning and I sought out a place that offered brunch. I noticed 1608 was open and decided to head over, especially since I haven't visited them in ages. When I walked in, I noticed their dining room is dimly lit - much darker than I remember. I was greeted immediately by a kind hostess and she proceeded to sit me at a nearby table and provided me with menus (one food, one alcohol). I took my time looking over the food menu, and in the meantime I ordered a pint of Center of the Universe's Bald Irishman and a bottle of Boylan's Black Cherry soda (they do not have a soda fountain). What made this visit memorable was that 1608's bartender, Hunter, was an old acquaintance from back in my restaurant days. He spotted me and came over to say hi. After my meal, I continued to catch up with him at the bar. His presence made a pleasant experience even more fantastic. I thought I was hungry, so I ordered 2 dishes - Smoked Ham Fried Rice and the Breakfast Burrito. According to Hunter, every item is made fresh in house. After biting into each, you could tell that's true. Both the fried rice and burrito were delicious and boasted lots of flavor. Although I prefer my fried rice a bit simpler (if you give me just garlic fried rice, I am SET), 1608's fried rice (veggies, garlic, soy, basmati rice, 2 runny eggs, smoked ham) had a lot going on, which made for a flavorful dish. I liked the rice and the burrito (Korean style fried chicken breast, scrambled eggs, cilantro lime, cheddar, pico de gallo) a lot. I didn't finish either because it was a lot of food (I really thought I was hungry, haha). But these leftovers turned into a fantastic dinner later on. 1608 looked clean and organized, although I thought it was a little too dark inside, at least for brunch service. That's not a dealbreaker since everything from the food to the service was as excellent as I remember. I hope to return soon with my mom. Regardless, I'll find my way back eventually. Thank you, 1608 Crafthouse! And great seeing you again, Hunter! JV

The potstickers tasted like the frozen ones you get from the grocery store. The shrimp ceviche was essentially tasteless.
