It was packed and looked very busy, The wait was about 45 minutes, If it was your first time here, like us you would be skeptical on waiting 45 minutes for a place you're not sure whether its worth the wait but I'm here to tell you that it was very good they have amazing cauliflower pizza which is great for keto or vegetarians. Beer selection was awesome, have to have the pretzel and cheese if you're eating bread! But what put me over the edge was their crispy shrimp which was the best I have ever had an amazing thin layer of breading on cleaned perfectly cooked shrimp. Service was also very good. The reason for my four-star instead of five star is because on their beer menu theY list that they have growlers so you may take one that you like home, very excited to do this i asked for pricing on the growler and beer and decided to go with it. But sadly waitress came back and notified me that they no longer keep the growlers because they weren't cost-effective so you have to bring your own in order to take home, which is not the end of the world but would be better if they cut that off the menu or add "Bring your growler and we will fill it up" I will be back and bring my own for sure! So wait was worth it. But still make sure to plan ahead when going! read more

Great service fair prices. The menu offers many different American food items with its own twist. The also offer a large variety of appetizers with very original recipes. Very satisfied with this restaurant although the ambience was not what I usually go for. Rustic look and very clean, I couldn't help to see that the servers use sanitizing wipes to clean the tables constantly... Very rarely you see that in a restaurant. Ordered a sangria (YUM) and a beer for drinks, and a Margherita pizza and a harvest salad (I think that's the name) with salmon. The pizza was cooked to perfection. The salad had delicious butternut squash, apples, nuts, cheese and the dressing was perfect. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was an amazing compliment to the ingredients of the salad. We came with a group of 6 around 7pm on a Thursday. We were immediately seated despite how busy the restaurant was. They gave us a large booth that was more than enough space for us all. Our waiter was very patient and polite. We started off with their highly recommended Buffalo Cauliflower. We were skeptical because it did not sound like it would have been a good mix, but we were so wrong! The cauliflower had very little batter and just enough buffalo sauce and blue cheese crumbles to make it interesting. I will have to warn against putting your nose close to it to smell it. The buffalo sauce is quite pungent. I ordered a Mango Jalapeño Margarita because it sounded interesting. I'm not a big fan of it. There were a lot of jalapeños and it overpowered the drink itself. There was hardly any tequila in it. It was a let down especially for the price. My main course was the Braised Beef short ribs. It melted in my mouth!! It was so tender and well flavored. The short rib was not too fatty, but had just enough to keep the meat juicy. The dish also had sliced mushrooms and golden Yukon potatoes, all of which were a perfect pair. The portion was pretty large, I had enough saved for lunch the next day. The windows had a lot of flies around it, it became annoying. I gave this place 4 stars because of the expensive jalapeño drink, the loud noise level and random flies around the windows. read more

This place is great! Greeter, server, food and atmosphere all on point-- all prompt, we were seated way faster than the 20 mins wait we were initially given. A group of us were on vacation in Virginia Beach and chose this restaurant based on other reviews. We were a group of 8. I must say we found absolutely nothing wrong with anything. We ordered 4 different appetizers, the Pub pretzel and beer cheese, Buffalo Cauliflower Bites, wings, and 2 orders of the spring rolls. Everybody enjoyed all of the especially the Cauliflower bites which were excellent. For main courses the group ordered Chicken Rockefeller, BBQ chicken, Tuna burger, and Shrimp and Grits. For sides, regular fries, sweet potato fries, cucumber salad, Cole slaw, and Caesar salad. Everybody liked what they had. They have a very good local beer menu and the service was excellent. We were a group of 8 and our order was taken in a reasonable amount of time, food came out timely, and all 8 entrees were brought out at the same time and all were hot. For what the restaurant is, a nice affordable family restaurant with a good bar and very good food the place exceeded our expectations. The only thing we did not do was order a burger to see if they can cook something medium rare. Other than that, as I said service was great, food was good, and absolutely nothing to complain about. For the type of establishment it would be compared against this is definitely one that deserved a 5 star rating. Something I would not usually do after one visit. My husband loves the bone-in chicken wings, with just the right amount of sauce and heat. He also had a tuna sandwich, which is a little bit of a departure for him, and it was a hit. My crab cake sandwich was full of crab with just enough other stuff to hold it together. WK's fries and chips are crisp, not at all greasy. Yes I understand Covid makes plenty of places not the way they were... however.. we came here because it closed at 10 pm.. got there at 845 and were seated ... sat down... was told that the kitchen and bar were closing. I asked for a glass of wine she came back 2 seconds later demanding what we order or we won't get served.... we ordered the steak which was gray and like tire rubber ... I asked for another wine she told me no.. and then 15 min later came back and said my "manager" said it's ok.. when it wasn't even 930 at this point... needless to say the atmosphere I guess was cool... but service sucked and I paid almost 100 bucks for trash that wasn't medium rare I It smelled and tasted like ground beef brunt in a oven... but best of luck To ya during these times .. try harder ... read more
