Best meal I've had in months. First time eating here, as it was the only local steak forward restaurant I hadn't been to this year. Elote starter was great and the seared tuna main was amazing. I found this spot off tik tok and it looked really cute! I was so excited to try this place but the experience was disappointing. I was surprised to find they had a $7 mandatory valet parking in their lot which happened to be the only convenient option considering the surrounding street parking was permit only. The atmosphere and decor were nice. The server was quick to greet us but then proceeded to neglect us for the next 15 mins. I watched him walk past us 3 separate times, and twice locked eyes with me but did not return to take our order. At this time, we had gotten there as soon as the restaurant had opened and there was only one other table he was serving, and I watched him attend to that table multiple times. We finally flagged him down to order our food and drinks. The drinks were good and the free biscuits during happy hour were delicious. The food came out really quick but it was okay. The smoked salmon had bones in it, which I don't typically encounter when I eat salmon at restaurants--would not recommend. After finishing our food, we sat for a while longer waiting to get our check, which we had to flag him down for again. Our waters were not filled up once and we were thirsty. Another server noticed our empty cups and came by to give us water at the end. A different server came by to check us out as well. He did not stop by our table again even though he continued to walk by. We chose to dress comfortably and felt like because of that we were being treated unfairly even though we probably spent the same amount as any other table there. I wanted to try some of their other drinks but was discouraged due to the poor service. There were plenty of other staff in the building, seems unlucky that we got the server we did. Great service and ambience. They were busy so we did have to wait about 15-20 mins to get seated after our reservation. Once we were seated though, our server was so attentive. Food was good. I enjoyed the arugula salad. The chicken was a bit salty but could be good for someone who enjoys it that way! My partner got the seared tuna and he liked it enough. read more

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Columbus! I have been dining here since it opened. Love the ambiance. Great place to take clients, friends and family. The dip duo is hands down the best pimento cheese and guac I've ever had. It's phenomenal! I try hamburgers everywhere I travel. I have travelled most of the US and no one can hold a candle to the Hollywood Burger. The servers are always friendly, professional and accommodating. This restaurant is truly a gem. read more

A little touch of "California casual" tucked away off Grandview Avenue. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff is so welcoming. It was too dark (and crowded) to get lots of pictures without it being awkward, so please forgive the sneaky shot of half eaten guacamole... I rarely order meatloaf in restaurants, but it was some of the best I have ever had. The meat was really tender and flavorful. Veggies on the side were perfectly cooked. The only odd thing was that the entrees came out really quickly right after we had gotten the appetizer. Pacing could have been a bit better. The dessert list is short and sweet (literally). Two chocolate options and a strawberry shortcake. Bartenders know their stuff and offer great service. I loved how it seemed to be the right spot for girls night out, date night, special occasions and friends just meeting for dinner. It's both casual and upscale at the same time. Recently, I introduced some young friends to the eclectic and classy styling of 3rd and Hollywood. This is a restaurant and night spot that subtilely weaves an enticing and stunning ambiance bolstered by delicious food choices from the open kitchen, making for the clientele's ability to observe fascinating prep work and the service staffs' attention to detail. The lighting, decor, and indoor and patio seating is inviting and comforting. He and I had the Rib-eye (medium rare). She had the Seared Tuna. We had the Cheddar Herb Biscuits. He and she shared a Strawberry Shortcake and I had my own. All was to perfection and delicious. Note: My late wife and I enjoyed our visits to 3rd and Hollywood for all of the only half dozen or so times we were able to go. Had been recommended this place for date night a while ago and had not made it out. So glad we did. Our hostess was very attentive. She came by frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. We each had a drink (gin and tonic and a ginger kick). They were both refreshing. We split the Mexicali salad with steak and the filet mignon. Everything was delicious and the portions were plenty. I didn't think they would be. The Mexicali salad had a Southwest style spicy mayo/ranch dressing that had a kick and was very savory with the steak that was cooked perfectly medium and roasted corn. The filet was also perfect. They were kind enough to split it for us and it was a great portion! The vibe was very "lodgey" with dark warm tones and dimly lit ambiance. The staff are pleasant and well-trained, attentive, prompt, and able to answer questions about various dishes. A very strong wine list and talented bar tender. We enjoyed a girls night out. Party of 4 with reservations at 7:45 pm. We didn't get seated until around 8:10. They apologized several times for the wait and per their suggestion gave us a complementary appetizer. We opted for the biscuits with pimento cheese which were absolutely amazing! I saw all the reviews regarding the biscuits so I was sure to try them, and they did not disappoint! I have the Hollywood salad and it was delicious. The other three ladies opted to have the cheeseburger they said it was amazing as well. The atmosphere is beautiful, with a upscale vibe. I enjoyed two strawberry espresso martinis which did not disappoint! We had a birthday in our party, so they gave a complementary dessert. SUPER yummy!!! REALLY liked this place. Visited for a work business happy hour/dinner. We sat in the back with the big tables and somewhat isolated and intimate ambiance. The food was SUPER SUPER good and honestly, decent prices for happy hour! I really liked the ambiance, low lights, beautiful tables and prompt service. I would DEFinitely recommend checking this place out. Seems good for a date night also! Only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't any parking after 5 other than valet, so some of the group had to park down the street so that was a bummer. EVERYthing else was nice... This is my favorite Caesar salad in Columbus. I added chicken and avocado. Very fresh gem lettuce and large enough for a meal. They also made me a great Negroni with a chilled glass. Respectable wine list. Nice place to sit at the bar. Some of the entrees are hit or miss but I get what I know I will enjoy. read more

This time we celebrated my husband's birthday (although I didn't tell the waiter, I think they usually give a dessert for birthdays). It's always great and even though there aren't a lot of vegetarian options. We had the cheddar biscuits (a MUST) the vegetable grill and the black bean burger. So yummy! This long-standing restaurant is in Grandview and being close to several other great dining options in the area, we were pleasantly surprised to find the place with decent patronage. We decided to go here based on the high ratings on Yelp (from a large number of Yelpers, no less), and while it is a decent and upscale place with good service, food, and vibes, nothing really stood out to me in the wow factor. The restaurant has a $5 valet service, but we were able to find street parking a couple of blocks away. We ordered the herb biscuits, and a couple of cocktail drinks - the Strawberry Basil Mojito and the Margarita. For main course, we went with our server's recommendations of the Great Lakes Walleye and the Slow-Roasted Chicken Au Jus for entrées. Overall, the menu seemed limited, and none of these dishes were exceptional. They weren't bad, they just weren't great. The dish we did like was the Chocolate Pot de Crème - the sea salt complemented the rich chocolate custard nicely. Our server was polite and efficient, and our food arrived on time. All in all, it was a good and efficient experience, but I would probably go to The Avenue or Agave and Rye if I am in this area again. read more

I went here with a client and co workers, and will def be back! They sat us in the back part of the restaurant, through the kitchen and it was very private and intimate setting. Service was excellent and so was the food. We started with the pimento cheese and chips, probably the best pimento cheese dip I've ever tasted! We also had their biscuits, which I need the recipe for! Herby and garlicky and warm...very very good! For my entree I got the veggie mixed grill which filled me up right away and was a ton of food! As a lover of Brassica and Northstar, I had high hopes for T&H. Sadly, they were not met. The service was amazing! The restaurant is beautiful! But the food was just - meh. I think I may have let the hype get to my head, so found myself disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the food is fine. Nothing was bad. It tasted good. But for the price, the portions are small and there was no wow factor. Love the guac, as I do at NS (I believe it's the exact same) but the chips that came with it was sad ;( The salad was good. But was way more topping as opposed to lettuce. We enjoyed the biscuits as they were complimentary for HH. I wouldn't order them if not (they taste exactly like Red Lobster's which are included!). I don't see myself coming back here. Maybe for a special occasion or large group, but there's just so many restaurants in Columbus that have this same vibe and food. read more

I went here on a Wednesday night and it wasn't too busy. It was perfect weather to sit outside too. I came with a friend for a belated birthday dinner. We were seated right away and our waitress was on top of it with her service! She got us our cocktail orders. I got a strawberry mojito and my friend got a Negroni. The strawberry mojito was not my favorite. It used basil instead of mint and it tasted a little too syrup-y for me. I switched to a glass of Pinot Grigio afterwards. We started off with chips and guac ($9). Let me tell you those chips were perfectly salted and the guac was amazingly fresh. For dinner we got the crispy salmon with their goat cheese & bread arugula salad (loooved the salad). I got the pork chops feature which is usually $54 and it comes with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I would say the pork chops were good, but I wouldn't pay $54. I get it...inflation. I really enjoyed the salmon too! It was pricey, but I don't remember the exact price. Perfectly crispy skin. We ended with a free birthday strawberry shortcake. Super delicious and the fresh strawberries helped balance out the sweetness. read more

My husband got the burger and fries and I got the ribs - both were very good. Came for lunch during the week, definitely a very darling restaurant, great ambiance and service was good. My veggie plate was so flavorful, lots of delicious veggies, which as a gf vegetarian it was amazing to see so much variety and flavor. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. I was bummed that Bloody Mary was listed in the menu but not available during the week (so take it off the lunch menu) and we both ordered coffee, shared a small carafe, and when we ordered more both got charged for more coffee. Pretty steep prices for coffee at an already pricey lunch spot. However, probably would come back to try more. read more

Great food, decent service Some coworkers and I went in at lunchtime, not realizing they close at 2 pm before reopening for dinner. We were there after 1 pm but assured our waitress we would be quick. We were out of there shortly after 2! The Nor'easter salad was ordered by most of the table, and it was really delicious. Went to a birthday party for my neighbor's 30th. The food was amazing! We had a choice of salads such as Caesar, tossed or garden, vegan options like black bean burgers and hummus, on the house cocktails like the bourbon sour which I LOVED! The service was top notch as well and PLENTY OF WINE to choose from. They have a private party room that accommodates at least 50 guests. Parking is a little tight but they do have valet available.
