The selection in baked goods is phenomenal, partly because they know a good then THEY taste it, AND do all the work of having it all shipped to the market for us to choose from. They don't do a lot of the work, but they do vend some of the best breads & pastries from all over town to a single location for sale. I have enjoyed everything I have bought here for the last 3 years. Scones, croisants, cookies, fritters, brownies, bread stix galore. They DO make their own fresh soups daily to go with a sandwich packed with house done corned beef or any other meet you desire. A cute little counter 'round back to belly-up to & talk it up with one of the gals is perfect for a little mid-day refueling. There is nuthin' like stopping by on my way home after a long nights work for some freshness here. If I want a dense gut bomb to last the morning through or a little something to coast me through, I can get it here. They don't do it all, but they do it well. read more

I got a lox bagel here for breakfast. It was quite empty and there was plenty of seating. The salmon was fresh - and they were quite generous with it too. The bagel was eggy and chewy. Good stuff. A 3.5! Affordable and plenty of options for everyone. Lots of different flavors and the line was fairly decent but I was let down by their cookies. Sure, it looked very appealing displayed alongside their large variety of cookies and treats but once I tried it....not so much! Normally yelp doesn't let me down but the cookie was very crunchy and the peanut butter one I got just tasted very dry. We also got the snickerdoodle and that was OK. Nothing special. But hey, the cookie is $2 so maybe this is why it's gotten plenty of good reviews? we also got the red velvet cupcake, which I haven't tried yet. We ended up getting the three treats for only $7 so it's very affordable! Omg!!!! Went here on a whim because I was just exploring the market and I was not disappointed!!! The double oh cookie was sooooo good & even the oatmeal raisin cookie was just so good!! With the numerous bakeries the Pike Place Market has to offer, it's sometimes hard to decide which one to make a purchase at (I usually end up buying a little something at each one). The Three Girls Bakery has a great selection of treats ranging from cookies, brownies, bars, loaves of bread, ect. On my visit today I waited in line for about five minutes, which gave me plenty of time to look at the case and decide what I wanted to order. The guy working the window was very nice and friendly. I ordered the Garlic Rosemary loaf and had it sliced (so nice to have them slice it for you), and three of the ginger molasses cookies. Highly recommend the chocolate crinkle cookie - we all got one and loved them! They were really soft and chocolately and you can tell they are fresh. The cookies are also surprisingly inexpensive ($2 each) and the girl working in the shop was really nice and friendly. read more

This was so good, we stopped twice in one day! What makes this great is the bakery window and the counter for sandwiches- 2 separate areas- for a combo of delicious food! For bfast we had their bacon egg and cheese sandwiches- various combos of croissants vs bagels, and different cheeses. We had an 8 member family- and they were super accommodations getting all the specifics right! I had a bagel- it was scrumptious- and I hail from the New York area, so I have very high standards. We also picked up a blueberry scone from the bakery window, because, well, blueberries!! It was divine. My only wish was that there were more blueberries throughout the dough. But the initial bites were divine. We returned at lunch due to rave reviews of the meatloaf sandwich. The reviews were true! Sourdough, lettuce, tomato, and mustard with meatloaf- not what I pictured when I first heard of a meatloaf sandwich but they got it right! I skipped th ed mayo- as I always do, but everything else, was perfection. Its big- so perhaps order one to split- they cut it for you in half. Save room for some bakery sweets. We tried the peanut butter cookie, m&m cookie, chocolate cookie- all were on point and soft! The m&m's should be marketed! We also sampled the earl grey and lavender shortbread cookies- lovely- especially together!! The waitstaff was super helpful, friendly, and gave some great suggestions about Seattle. I stopped in for a small bowl of Chili. It was served at a comfortable bar a few steps removed from the hustle and bustle of the Market by a very busy server. It was pretty watery. I could discern negligible chili smell. Unfortunately, the spices tasted and smelled burnt which was a big turn off for me. No heat. Small amount of ground beef with predominant kidney beans for filler. I think I'll stick with their nice looking and smelling baked goods next time I come. read more

I'm officially the cookie monster. And, they have all the cookies. Just strolling past their booth/stall/whatever you call it at the market, your mouth immediately starts to water. It's redonkulous. Cookies, bars, brownies, pastries, breads...everything your poor little heart could desire. I grabbed more than a few items while hubby was in line - chocolate chip cookie, chocolate crinkle, pecan bar, lemon bar, cinnamon honey walnut rugelach, peanut butter cup, and other tasty things that were so good they put me into a sugar coma and I just can't remember what they were. Upon ordering the pecan and lemon bars, the guy asked me if I wanted side or center pieces. Umm, is this even a question?! CENTER all the way! He laughed and said the "side fans" are really particular and sometimes get angry. It's okay - more for me! I was picking up a treat for a friend who was laid up after an injury. I live literally down the street and was in a rush and tried 2 other places before I landed here (the other 2 places the lines were way too long) all I wanted was dessert yumminess. I have been here before to just pick up a treat for myself on the way home or to hang out by the water so I knew it was pretty tasty. I got a mixture of different treats...cookies, breads and other goodness. There was a redheaded woman that helped me today-she was kind and patient-I needed a box rather than a bag when I usually get a treat for myself she was happy to oblige. While I was waiting there people who were working in the little shop were smiling and singing along to the music (the gentleman with the dark curly hair in dutch braids put a smile on my face). I love a place with good vibes. The machine didn't want to take my credit card-so the redheaded woman who was helping me went out of her way to go to other machines and try and finally putting it in manually-many people nowadays do not go to that level-I appreciated it as I did not have the time to run home and get a different method of payment. I apologized it took so long and she was super kind and said not to worry about it. I can't wait to give it to my friend and put a little smile on their face. Tried an extra sour Fremont sourdough loaf which had a good crust and chew. We had it for dinner with fresh figs, berries, deli and cheese that we bought in the pike market. I also tried a walnut rugelach pastry which was ok. The nuts were plentiful but the pastry was kinda boring, dry and not flavourful. Definitely a great place to pick up some sweets while walking around the Pike Market. Located outside in the parking lot, this small shop proudly displays all of their selections for people walking by to enjoy. Not only do they look good, they taste pretty damn amazing, too. I loved watching people walk by and do a double take because a certain creation caught their fancy. Most people give into temptation and order at least one. I was drawn in by the shortbread cookies and ended up ordering some lavender and Earl Grey versions. Both good and you could definitely taste the butter. I don't think I'd like a shortbread if it wasn't full of calories and fat. I proudly ate one without guilt and sort of wished I had another. They aren't small, and you could definitely order two different ones to share and be satisfied. You definitely get the flavors of the cookies without them being overly fragrant in taste, but it's not so light that you can't tell what it is. The lavender comes coated with a purple sugar, a nice little touch. My other choice were their chocolate drop cookies. Again, full of buttery goodness and the chocolate drop in the middle was firm without being too hard. I really loved this cookie and again, they are big enough to share. I'm glad I stopped by. I saw that they also make sandwiches, so I'll make it a point to come and try one on an upcoming visit! read more

I just had the most amaaaaaazing baked salmon sandwich from Three Girls Bakery. I don't even like salmon. It was that good. Yes, the service was a bit slow, but when I got to the front and asked the counter guy which bread and condiments would be best with baked salmon (again, not being a salmon lover) he described, without hesitation, how he likes it...and I'll be damned if he didn't sound sexy doing it: "I like it with a thin layer of cream cheese, just a *touch* of dijon, on a light garlic rosemary bread...."
