Been seeing and hearing about the infamous Tierra Mia Coffee for months and I finally made myself venture outside of my norm and giveit a try, I must admit they did not disappoint. I went on Saturday, The day it was pouring down raining yes I still order a cold drink. The menu had some unique choices, the one that stood out to me was there end Beans Frappe. A blended coffee that got its name from the horchatta (rice) and beans (ground up coffee beans) in the mix which gave it a yummy flavor and extra little kick of caffeine. I really enjoyed it. My wife had the Cafecito Cubano con Leche, she said it was good but nothing special. The service was friendly and fast, I thought for sure on a cold rainy day, packed parking lot the wait was going to be craY but quite the opposite. There's a few more drinks on my list of "must try" choices so I will be back. read more

OMG I wish there were more locations. I've passed this place so many times and the drive thru line is always so long. So I finally decided to go one day to see what all the hype was about. I ordered a blended horchata late but I guess they heard me wrong and I got a iced horchata latte. We waited so long I didn't want to go back and have them change it and just settled with my drink. This is one of my favorite coffee shops! Way better than Michael's and closer than Porto's! The pastries are always warm and fresh! The service is always friendly and welcoming. And I mainly stick to the drive thru, but the inside is spacious and has an authentic Latino vibe, but parking is rough and the line for the drive thru can be long but honestly if you have time and patience! So the word on the street is that Tierra Mia Coffee is the Latin version of Starbucks?! I processed that information and said yes to Latin, yes to Starbucks, so it's a yes for Tierra Mia Coffee. Of course, I had to check it out for myself. Hubby and I were craving a coffee late one night while out in Long Beach. I checked the hours of Tierra Mia and saw they're open until midnight! Yes, midnight! We made our way over! When we pulled up, we saw that they had a drive-thru! We also noticed that the inside was open as well, so if you wanted to sip your coffee inside late in the evening, you could. When it was our turn to order, I didn't know what to order because everything sounded so good. I decided to go with the Dulce de Leche Latte. Hubby got a Chocolate Mexicano Frapp, and I got my daughter a Mango Cream Ice Blended. I wanted a guava cheese Pastry, but they were sold out. We didn't have to wait long at all! Once we got our drinks, I took my first sip, and yum! It was perfect, and it was exactly what I needed. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other drinks. Friendly staffs, good coffee. I got the Mocha Mexicano latte, it was pretty good, You can really taste the mocha in it. I was looking more for the Spanish latte, but I didn't see it on their menu. I love a coffee shop with a clean interior, bathroom, and comfortable lighting. On top of that, free wifi and plenty of outlets. I ordered the pistachio latte with almond milk and it was delicious. The barista told me that it was less popular than their strawberry matcha latte (but i was very pleased to have it). I also ordered the churro muffin, and it was warmed up for me. It was nice, sweet, warm, and moist. I got a great study session here, and I'll keep this place in mind next time I'm in the LB area. This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Long Beach. They specialize in Latin inspired drinks such as Mocha Mexicano and Cubano con Leche. My favorite drink is the Horchata Frappe. I love how smooth, creamy, flavorful and finely blended it is. I tried the Rice and Beans Frappe which is a blend of chocolate, coffee, horchata and ground coffee beans bits topped with whipped cream sprinkled with cinnamon. I really enjoyed it as well but wasn't a fan of the blended coffee beans in the drink cause it didn't add much to the drink aside from a gritty texture. Sit ins are currently available at this location. The coffee shop is spacious, clean and has a relaxing vibe. It has plenty of seating available and the tables are spaced out for social distancing. The baristas at this location really need to work on customer service. I stood at the register ready to order and the girl making drinks in the front with a "bone" in her hair did not once acknowledge me. I stood there for at least 10 minutes. There has been other times where I have had to interact with her and she is not the friendliest. Like why work in an environment where customer service is a priority and you can not give that.
