To celebrate a 2 year anniversary, my job presented its employees with a voucher to get a dozen cookies and a pint of ice cream from Tiff Treats. That morning I used the voucher to purchase cookies for myself and sent a batch to a friend. The order was placed at 11ish am, to be delivered by 12:45-1:00. My friend receives their cookies and promptly sent me a thank you, however, mine never came. I called the number online from my order and discovered that my order never got put in. I was obviously disappointed. The store said they saw my order and would get my cookies out to me as soon as possible. After about 5 min. I received a call from Jacob, who said my cookies were being baked and that he would personally deliver them along with any extra item of my choice. I chose a fudge brownie. He sent a text to let me know he was on his way and about 10 minutes later, I received my delicious cookies, pint of ice cream and brownie. Terrible service and food. The guy that took our order literally was rushing us out of there. The cookies were hard, the four year old I was babysitting couldn't even eat them. You have got to be kidding me on this place! My husband and I were in the mood for a cookie and yelped a place close. This one came up as 4 stars so we decided to try it. Walked in to this little tiny store front with a case about the size of a cardboard box with cookies. At $1 a cookie about 3 inches in size we got 4. If you sign up for their email list you get coupons once a week. (They also usually have a special flavor some weeks or for the holidays.) Omg this is my favorite place to get cookies. The M&Ms cookie is my favorite followed by peanut butter and who doesn't like chocolate chip. The cookies are warm and gooey and just awesome. I've visited other locations but this location always has cookies available and they've never messed up my delivery orders. After my previous review, the marketing manager at Tiff's Treats contacted me to ask me to give them another shot to impress me! He informed me that the Tiffwich (ice cream sandwich) is supposed to be made with warmed cookies before putting ice cream in between, so I will try that again next time. He arranged for two dozen (!!!) warm, fresh cookies to be delivered to my office for me and my staff. We received chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, snickerdoodle and white chocolate chip almond. They were delivered exactly at the pre-arranged time and were warm, soft and fresh, as promised. I found a new favorite as well, snickerdoodle. I am definitely impressed, both with the cookies, and with Tiff's Treats' willingness to listen to feedback and ensure customers have a good experience. I've always loved this place ever since the good ole college days at UT (Austin of course) when they used to be a one shop establishment. I'm pretty glad they have them now in strategic places as they are my go-to place for sweets after lunch/dinner. My usual is the Tiffwich using the white chocolate almond cookies, gooooood stuff! They did once have a bacon flavored cookie and that was also pretty darn good, but I have never seen it displayed ever since that one time =(. Only reason why I knocked off 1 star is because the cookies themselves can get a bit overly sweet. That's probably the reason why I get the Tiffwich to mellow out the sweetness with ice cream. Strange drop off policy: They call the recipient before actually scheduling the delivery. In doing so, any element of surprise is ruined. If you're not wanting the delivery to be known to the recipient, don't place their contact information on the form. Unlike other delivery services, this information is not only there if something goes wrong. Per the website (which I read after it was too late), they call each recipient before hand. I love how quick and easy this gift is! They have great add-ons like balloons and special boxes upgrading this delicious treat to a nice present for a missed event or surprise for someone you love! I've used this service twice. The first time I had to pick up my order and drive it to the location myself -- because they don't have any delivery in Fort Worth :( The second, however, went off without a hitch. Ok, this place is down to 1 star now. Cookies are good but the packaging hasn't improved. I ordered multiple dozen twice (few weeks ago and today). Both times the stacked hot cookies on top each other which means they stick together and you can't pull out individual cookies. I absolutely love Tiff's Treats!! The cookies come warm and the milk and ice cream cold. My favorite is of course chocolate chip. I don't know what the secret ingredient is, but there has to be one, as I have never tasted better chocolate chip cookies. However, they also have a large selection baked fresh for each order. The website is very easy to use to set up a delivery for you, or someone else, or multiple deliveries. They also have a great store front where you can walk in. They stock at least a dozen of each cookie flavor. First off they had this horrific ghetto music blasting in the store and it took forever for anyone to come to the front, and when he did, he acted like he was pissed off that I came into the establishment to purchase something so he can keep his job. Really?!? I ordered a half dozen of warmed cookies...not hard. Took forever and when he brought them out, just slung them on the counter and walked off. No customer service at all. Call me crazy but we came when it was less than 30 degrees F outside. Not a soul in sight that night. I was craving something sweet in between a cake and ice-cream. I used to eat these all the time at UT but when I moved to Dallas, and found out this place was nearby--I almost cried I was so happy. The cookies are always moist and warm. The brownies are superb if you ever need a chocolate fix. There is actually not a bad option. And if you need something a little colder--they also sell ice cream (which I don't eat) but I know lot's of people do. The other thing that is great about them: THEY DELIVER. I've ordered Tiff's treats to be delivered as a gift multiple times and I always seem to mess up an address or time for delivery. But the Tiff's treats employees always help me fix my mistakes and never give me any problems or attitude. They're always very understanding and always deliver within the time period requested, even with a redelivery! Its not always easy to deliver to someone as a surprise without asking directly for an address but even if you get it wrong the first time they're very accommodating. If you're someone that wants to deliver this as a gift I definitely recommend it! They work with you to make it right!
