They also do catering services which is a plus. Service- all the staff were nice, attentive, and service was fast and robot wok machines were continuously making foods in the back kitchen. Ambiance- this place is clean with plenty of chairs to sit down and eat with family or friends. Tigawok is definitely outperforming Panda Express with their affordable prices and high quality of food choices. Very disappointing experience. I was really excited to try this place, but the food was terrible. I ordered the orange chicken, pork belly, and chow mein. The chow mein noodles smelled awful and were completely inedible. I couldn't even take a few bites. I ended up having to order food from somewhere else. While waiting for a movie at the AMC16, I stumbled upon the soft opening of the second Tigawok location here in Burbank. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the store layout, with bright lights, soft teal and white walls, and comfortable seating. The workers were extremely friendly and walked me through the concept. You can select your food option(s) and the size(s): 8 ounces for most of the items and 16 ounces for the three bases (steamed rice, chow mein noodles or wagyu kurobuta rice). You can mix and match however you like, or add them together with a beverage for a combination. The mini bowls are microwaveable as well, should you wish to take your order to go. The staff are happy to provide you with as many samples as you like (no judgment). After taking in the initial notes, I decided to go with 8 ounce bowl of orange peel chicken and an 8 ounce bowl of Brussels Sprouts. Both of these items were quite tasty and a few steps above other fast food Chinese restaurants. The prices are also very reasonable, with my two items being under $10, including tax. They offer utensils, chopsticks and even some floss picks and lemon or peach mints as refreshments after your meal. This is a great new spot offering good food, quickly. Restrooms are beautifully clean and well-stocked. Tons of free parking in nearby garages. Check them before or after their Soft Opening on August 16th. Disappointed that they changed their format - they used to have these delicious and inexpensive mini bowls that my friend and I would crave and eat right before heading to our movie every week. It threw me off initially. Potato noodles: 3/5 - Again a lot of potential there but it fell a little short for me. It had this acidity to it that made it the only thing you could really taste. Other than that it lacked flavor. Eggplant: 4/5 - Love my roasted eggplant! It just needs a dash of more flavor but once that's in its going places. I went to a movie recently, and didn't notice this new spot, but thanks to a Yelp Elite deal, I made it in. The place is on the far left side of a little restaurant row across from the AMC 16. The interior is sleek and comfortable, and I got a super friendly greeting on entering. The service was outstanding from start to finish. I got the Pepper Pork entree, with side of rice, chilled broccoli side and a drink. Of course, I had to try Orange Chicken and Pork Bao, so I added them. Glad I did. Mini buns were so tasty, and they would bring me back. Orange Chicken was great, too, and way better than another long time chain's version! Pepper Pork was tasty, but was too fatty and had huge pieces of pepper that really was too much. It was the only disappointment and I wouldn't get it again. A fluffy jasmine rice that was perfect, and I was also not thinking I'd appreciate the chilled Broccoli, but I loved that one, as well! Great flavors! My first time trying tigawok at the Burbank location. I was skeptical at first about the quality and taste but I got the orange chicken peel combo with chow mein and shredded potato bean spouts. You can also choose rice as your carb. The orange chicken was crispy and sauced very well. I wasn't expecting much for the chow mein but it was flavorful but a bit oily. The Chinese bean sprouts and potato were on the sour side. It wasn't my favorite and I think the recipe can be tweaked a little to add some salt and sugar and not just vinegar. The combo was 12 dollars and mini bowls are only 5 dollars each. For the portion size and price it's a great deal for the price. I highly recommend checking it out. Way better than Panda Express! We stopped by for dinner and picked up two main plates and 5 side dishes totaling roughly $40. The portion sizes are great and the prices can range from $2.98 for plain rice to $7.98 for the hunan beef. We got the rice with wagyu as our main bowl, which literally on its own with a side of chilli sauce is a star. It's so flavorful and there's enough beef to fill you up! We did also get the orange peel chicken (4/5), pepper korobuta pork (5/5) , dry pot Brussels sprouts(5/5), hand torn cabbage(5/5) and tigawok pork buns (4/5). The top items I'd get again are the wagyu rice bowl and the pepper Korobuta pork (chefs kiss ‍) ! These were both flavorful and filling and paired well with the chilli sauce that they offer! Wow!! I truly feel like being transformed into the future after seeing Tigawok uses robotic machines to cook all their food to precision. This restaurant is located in downtown Burbank area next to AMC where there are few parking structures around. It was my first time trying Asian cuisine cooked by robots so I was pretty excited yet curious about the flavors at first. At Tigawok you get to pick your base that is placed in a bigger bowl and your main that is placed in a smaller bowl. I decided to order both Chow Mein and Wagyu Kurobota Rice Bowl as my base. Honestly, I could definitely eat these without the main because they are super delicious and come in generous servings. Of course, I still got the main to complete this experiences. I went ahead and ordered: Wagyu Curry - beef was juicy and mix well with the curry flavor Kurobota pepper corn- got that spicy kick that I liked Orange peel chicken- crunchy, sweet, and savory Wagyu mapo tofu - personal favorite All in all i was impressed with the wide selections of dishes they offer here and each one of them has its own unique flavors. I had been to Tigawok in Sawtelle and truly loved that store so I was super excited when they opened one in Burbank which is just across AMC16. There's free multilevel parking which was very convenient. This store is way bigger than Sawtelle. It has lots of seats. It's bright and clean with modern design. Service was friendly and fast. Each didn't costs from $3 to $6. It's reasonably priced for the variety and amount of food. The choices are extensive. I dined here with two other people. We went ahead to order several items. My favorites were the Brussels sprouts, orange chicken and most of the beef dishes. Our eyes were much bigger than our tummies because we had a lot of leftovers. The Togo station was very convenient in packing them. Lids and bags were readily available. When I heard they were opening a spot in Burbank, much closer to me, I knew it was finally time to check it out. Tigawok focuses on mini bowls of Chinese cuisine and offers a fun, unique dining experience. The menu is full of bold, creative flavors and is always changing, which made it feel like more than just a typical meal. I tried the Potato Shreds with Bean Sprouts, which were lightly stir-fried and had a tangy, savory flavor. It was a great option if you're looking for something on the lighter side. The Tiga Cola Chicken was sweet and savory. While it didn't have a strong cola taste, the flavor was rich and delicious. The Dry-Pot Brussels Sprouts were a great veggie option. For 25$ we got White rice, chow mein as our main entrees, then our sides were crispy pork, cola chicken and Mapo tofu. Which everything was delicious and we had the urge to order more food to try. In my opinion the place was so nice and cozy, I love their color scheme of the blues and greens. I SO wanted to like this place like most people liked/loved by reading their reviews on Yelp. I walked in yesterday around 4:05 pm and was barely noticed by their amateur few employees that were talking, laughing and not coming forward to help me. Lost & confused in every way. J.C came out of the kitchen to come and take my order, then in the middle of my order, she disappeared and Fernando appeared. W/out excusing herself or anything. Chow Mein and Orange Chicken were very tasty and Orange Chicken was crisp and well prepared. I wish I could have said the same about the Wagyu Beef & Minced Pork. It tasted BAD and very OILY AND FATTY all around the meat. Rice, however, was good. Let me not forget to mention that they were out of few items in their hot cases from which Hunan spicy beef was one of them. I mainly went to give that dish a try. The other one JC refused to let me try it saying" it's old", but wouldn't tell me how old. A day old, a week, a month. She completely didn't want to let me sample it until I told her "I want to sample it" then feeling embarrassed she let me sample their eggplant & green beans. If it's old, then what is it still doing in the hot case?? Actually, I would have preferred to have that instead of the Wagyu Minced Beef/ Pork. Portions were priced right and it was affordable for the sizes of the containers that the food came in. Place was very clean, big, long, and bright. I didn't care much about the colors/theme of the restaurant. To me it looked more like a playground. Take it as a compliment!:-) Had to use the bathroom, and they didn't have any toilet papers which made me clean myself with their seat covers, and the trash was full. The overhead music was the highlight of my dining experience! They were playing some fine music from Sade, to Ariana Grande, to Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber. Parking is shared with AMC 16 theatre and other businesses! Patio seating is also available. Some of the eggplants and beans were a little overcooked in mg opinion, but overall flavor is garlicky and delicious nonetheless. I grab 2-3 of their self serve chili meat sauce and pickled radish! After thoroughly enjoying the LA Times article by Jenn Harris (she is my favorite food writer/critic), on Robowoks, I had to pay Tigawok (one of the featured businesses), a visit at their outpost in Burbank. It is a nicely appointed new eatery that has addressed an important issue on food. They advertise mini bowls, that are reasonably priced, in a way an opportunity to taste more items when they are sold as smaller portions. But truth be told, the portions are generous and my carry out selections lasted through many meals. No complaints. Value for money here. There are numerous menu items and they are displayed in containers, to help you decide. My choices were the wagyu beef curry, kung pao chicken, garlic eggplant and beans, the fried rice and the chow mein. For me, the beef was the least impressive because it did not match the display and I ended up with large chunks of chewy (and fatty) low flavor meat, together with large pieces of potatoes (which lived up). The chicken was okay, it needed a kick of spices. The fried rice, with sausage was a different concoction and worth a try. Hands down, the best items I had, were the chow mein (wonderful in texture, chew, optics) and the eggplant & beans (this one had the real char of the wok and an umami taste), well deserving for may additional buys. Finally, the carry out packaging, utensils, lids for the food, and the bag (worth keeping and reusing), all in attractive and calming, teal color. Service, as you walk through and pick your favorites, was informative and well executed. I did not get a chance to see the robowoks in action, but they were there, in the background. Apparently, they are programmed, loaded and unloaded by humans, but the cooking is done by the robotic system. Is this place worth another visit? Absolutely. Tigawok is more predominantly a la carte thiugh they have combos and its more self service other than being served the food. You package up your own food, they have all the utensils, chops sticks, napkins, reusable bags, delicious spicy melon flavored mints ans even a floss pick you can pack in your bag. The portions may look small in the photos but it's intensely packed and you get a lot of value foe what you pay. Got some lunch after an AMC trip. Pepper pork combo - which here - comes with rice and a drink. My cuz did the orange chicken combo and we tried the wagyu curry and pork steamed buns between us. Some of their items weren't available due to a sustainability iniative that coincided with observed foot traffic trends. I'd probably choose the number one competitor's over it, but Tiga's is the alternative I'd go with over the general takeout version. The pork bun was the most meh item. It was steamed bun and that was all. Tigawok's attitude toward reduced waste is heartening. And their general approach toward cleaner, fast Asian food is adorable, aesthetically. They feel like more of a peer to Noodle World than to Panda. Burbank deserves a round of applause for expanding this fledgling chain downtown. I do still miss Panera, if I'm being honest. But splitting the space among three fast-casual experiences might be the move that keeps a critical artery of the area active for a longterm stretch. read more

So so happy we were in the area to try this!! The inside of the restaurant was well-lit and really clean with ample seating. When you walk up to order you can see the robot woks cooking food in the back. Our server was friendly and told us we could order as much as we want :) We ordered a half-&-half bowl of white rice and chow mein, orange peel chicken, pepper kurobuta pork, potato shreds with bean sprouts (a new dish), and garlic eggplant & green beans. There is a little self-serve station where you can get their sizzling wagyu spicy sauce and marinated white radish on the side. All our food was warm, not hot, but still good overall. I loved the orange peel chicken; it's a step up from regular orange chicken as you can really taste the zest from the orange peel. The garlic eggplant & green beans were unfortunately a little mushy but still quite flavorful. To be honest, my absolute favorite thing was the white radish; not only was it a good palate cleanser, it was just the right balance of sour, sweet, and crunchy. One great perk about this place is that they offer the CUTEST little to-go bowls, cutlery, and tote bags, all in their signature teal color! Very reasonable prices but with decent quality! Tigawok is what Panda Express can only dream of being.

What can I say.. firstly, I didn't know this spot was even here until the yelp event! Glad I stopped by as it was a very long day and I was hungry but more sleepy than hungry but something said stop on by for a quick bite. Upon entering I was very nauseous from my uber ride and getting car sick. When I arrived I just to a seat and the staff was very attentive and helpful. They gave me sprite, salt and fresh ginger.. sadly before I could get it down .. I made it to the trash and let's just say the nausea all came up. The manager was very helpful allowing me to just sit and sip the sprite with the ginger and salt until my stomach settled.. finally after about 45 mins I felt well enough to sample a few items and try a meal. Everything I sampled was good. The staff offered information about which food items contained allergies and also which dishes were some of their favorites & not-so-favorites. I really enjoyed the broccoli & carrot with the garlic sauce.. it was good cold and even better when I took home and warmed it up the next day. I also enjoyed the kung pao chicken which has peanuts and Is a bit spicy but pairs really well with their rice (which is also delicious with the garlic sauce from the broccoli.. (i attempted to pick out all the peppers :) I tried the orange chicken which was also good but I still prefer the kung pao. The ambiance and esthetics was neat, simple, stream-lined and I really love the reusable containers but wondered how pricey that might get for business overtime, nevertheless I appreciated and also how well the lids fit and did not spill any of the contents. I did notice, as some other customers also mentioned, that staff wasn't able to get around to cleaning all the tables.. it was a busy Friday night-- end of night and so I gave a pass for that as I know they're new and was pretty busy with new customers.. I did see the manager cleaning, changing out trash and re-stocking so that was a plus. Overall I had a good experience and appreciated the staff being so patient and checking on me & allowing me to sit in the restaurant for atleast 45 mins without ordering anything until my stomach settled. And then they let me sample just about the whole restaurant :) Super sweet staff. Good food. Can't remember if there were any desserts on the menu.. that would be a nice addition if not already on there. Ohh and I had no idea that there were robots preparing the food until I saw a random video on-line... so interesting! Also, interesting how real & good the display food items looked.. And knowing the food taste even better. Definitely had a more authentic taste than other asian fast food options. looking forward to returning :) read more

I highly recommend the orange chicken here! I love that it was perfectly crispy and overall each piece was cooked the same (is it because of the wok?) I'll have to try other locations to see! The interior is clean and the staff is super nice at this location. I recommend this spot as a quick grab in go for lunch or dinner. read more
