So so happy we were in the area to try this!! The inside of the restaurant was well-lit and really clean with ample seating. When you walk up to order you can see the robot woks cooking food in the back. Our server was friendly and told us we could order as much as we want :) We ordered a half-&-half bowl of white rice and chow mein, orange peel chicken, pepper kurobuta pork, potato shreds with bean sprouts (a new dish), and garlic eggplant & green beans. There is a little self-serve station where you can get their sizzling wagyu spicy sauce and marinated white radish on the side. All our food was warm, not hot, but still good overall. I loved the orange peel chicken; it's a step up from regular orange chicken as you can really taste the zest from the orange peel. The garlic eggplant & green beans were unfortunately a little mushy but still quite flavorful. To be honest, my absolute favorite thing was the white radish; not only was it a good palate cleanser, it was just the right balance of sour, sweet, and crunchy. One great perk about this place is that they offer the CUTEST little to-go bowls, cutlery, and tote bags, all in their signature teal color! What can I say.. firstly, I didn't know this spot was even here until the yelp event! Glad I stopped by as it was a very long day and I was hungry but more sleepy than hungry but something said stop on by for a quick bite. Upon entering I was very nauseous from my uber ride and getting car sick. When I arrived I just to a seat and the staff was very attentive and helpful. They gave me sprite, salt and fresh ginger.. sadly before I could get it down .. I made it to the trash and let's just say the nausea all came up. The manager was very helpful allowing me to just sit and sip the sprite with the ginger and salt until my stomach settled.. finally after about 45 mins I felt well enough to sample a few items and try a meal. Everything I sampled was good. The staff offered information about which food items contained allergies and also which dishes were some of their favorites & not-so-favorites. I really enjoyed the broccoli & carrot with the garlic sauce.. it was good cold and even better when I took home and warmed it up the next day. I also enjoyed the kung pao chicken which has peanuts and Is a bit spicy but pairs really well with their rice (which is also delicious with the garlic sauce from the broccoli.. (i attempted to pick out all the peppers :) I tried the orange chicken which was also good but I still prefer the kung pao. The ambiance and esthetics was neat, simple, stream-lined and I really love the reusable containers but wondered how pricey that might get for business overtime, nevertheless I appreciated and also how well the lids fit and did not spill any of the contents. I did notice, as some other customers also mentioned, that staff wasn't able to get around to cleaning all the tables.. it was a busy Friday night-- end of night and so I gave a pass for that as I know they're new and was pretty busy with new customers.. I did see the manager cleaning, changing out trash and re-stocking so that was a plus. Overall I had a good experience and appreciated the staff being so patient and checking on me & allowing me to sit in the restaurant for atleast 45 mins without ordering anything until my stomach settled. And then they let me sample just about the whole restaurant :) Super sweet staff. Good food. Can't remember if there were any desserts on the menu.. that would be a nice addition if not already on there. I highly recommend the orange chicken here! I love that it was perfectly crispy and overall each piece was cooked the same (is it because of the wok?) I'll have to try other locations to see! I had lunch with my teenage son earlier today at Tigawok. I have noticed it last week when I was in the area so I made a mental note to give it a try. Located at downtown Burbank right by the AMC 16. The restaurant is spacious with indoor seating, very bright and chill ambiance. The food is displayed for you to see. You basically choose the items that are served individually in bowls except there are three or four combos already with rice and main dish. We got variety of dishes to try, rice and chow mein. The eggplant and green bean dish was my most favorite and the chow mein. The rest very average tasting cafeteria style food. The beef was the worst probably with so much celery in it.... The orange chicken tasted like pork or something similar, and it was very dry. Overall the food wasn't what I expected, from reading the reviews it sounded so good. Just opened on Palm across from the AMC 16. There are so many things i love about this spot after my first visit. Their specialty is mini bowls. Sometimes you just need a snack, you are out and about - its really hard to find something small and something healthy to enjoy, you can also tell they care about the environment with their reusable and washable to go containers - and can i mention they are so cute! For this visit I wanted to try a variety of items. You go up to the counter to order (and you can see all the food in front of you) The staff walked us through selecting a base, i went with rice and chow main, then i selected orange chicken peel. I also wanted to try the new pork buns and had a side garlic eggplant and green beans. My eye ate first, so yes, this was a lot of food but you know i had to try it! Everything was really good, and i was able to bring the leftovers home and enjoyed the next day. Next time, i'll try to refrain from ordering so much but it was so delicious this may still be a problem. We had two items that that they had to make more off so when checking out got a beeper that went off promptly. Plenty of seating in the restaurant but the joy of palm street is there are also several outdoor tables on that street to take your food and enjoy. Plenty of parking in this area as well! read more

Steamed rice, rice and wagyu or noodles. A wide variety of choices. It's not your typical Chinese fast food. Dishes are more unique and elevated. Staff was super nice and helpful and patient as I tried the samples. I wanted to see the cooking machine in action but didn't get to this trip. It's located in the area by the movie theater. There's no close ADA parking. IF you got the very first spot on the street, it's still at least a block away. The place was aesthetically pleasing. So excited to visit Tigawok! This place offers excellent value for the price. The staff were friendly and provided fast service. Kenny, the manager, was gracious and expressed himself with great detail about the Asian fusion in his food and how he grew up eating what he was serving us. We tried the orange peep chicken, which had just the right amount of batter. The wagyu mapo tofu had great flavor. For me, the sweet tomato and scrambled eggs were surprisingly good as they had just the right amount of sweetness. The broccoli and brussels sprouts were delicious too! Regular here. They just changed their whole menu at this specific location and I'm honestly kinda devastated. It used to be a really good Asian fusion and semi-authentic Chinese fast food joint. Now it's just another Panda Express. There used to be a lot more Asians in here. Today, Tuesday evening, the area was empty. Believe me, I didn't want to write this review because I LOVED coming here...but wtf is this betrayal with the mapo tofu, eggplant, pork buns, etc. all GONE? As an ABC (American Born Chinese), I don't get much authentic Chinese food around Burbank. This was my comfort food when I didn't feel like cooking - but now the food like their orange chicken and string beans are generic and dry as hell. It's kinda crazy how their takeout bags and packaging is higher quality than the actual dishes now. I'll drop by once a while to see if they change back again I guess. This sucks :( read more

Sweet & Sour Pork The Orange Chicken and the Chow Mein were by far the highlight of the meal, and were SUPER delicious. The orange chicken was crunchy and flavorful, and the chow Mein had the softest noodles and overall a good pair to the orange chicken. I think the overall feel of the place ESPECIALLY the utensils, containers, and bags were top tier. The quality was insane and honestly the bags felt like the Lululemon bags NOTE: We did find a hair in the braised pork and wagyu beef bowl, but when we brought it up it was immediately replaced and the staff were super apologetic about it. The new bowl DID NOT have anything on it, so for me it didn't take away from the experience. I think the chilli garlic they had was very delicious and I had it with everything so i couldn't taste the saltiness. Still a great experience. Food was cheap! I was in this plaza looking for lunch when I saw the grand opening sign and how robots cook it?? I had to see it myself I love this concept. You grab a tray then choose a few entrees or sides to get as a bowl. I got the fried rice bowl, orange peel chicken bowl, and the pepper kurobota pork. The orange peel chicken tastes soooo good it reminds me of Panda Express but it's juicier and has more meat in each bite. The fried rice was delicious it wasn't too oily like most places I've tried and it's well seasoned. Had delicious bites of sausage which was a nice add. My favorite was the pepper kurobota pork !! It's melt in your mouth and it had grilled veggies that had the perfect snap. They have homemade teas I got the unsweetened oolong but they have honey sweetened black tea as an option too. They also have regular fountain drinks. The employees were extremely helpful and friendly, they helped me understand the order process and gave me the suggestion to try the kurobota pork!! They also showed me where the soy sauce, and vinegar, toppings were to add to my dishes. It was well lit and clean inside, with beautiful decorations I love the mirror ceilings. I was also pleasantly surprised with the take out boxes, they're reusable and microwaveable which is so cool! When this place first opened we ended up going three times in a row in a week. This place has a chokehold on us. The Orange Peel Chicken and Wagyu Curry were standouts and what I've gotten almost every time I've gone here. Restaurant is very clean and modern. In total it does end up costing more than a Panda Express meal if one were to get the same amount of items, but the quality and flavor have definitely made me come back for more. This is the best to-go, affordable food option here in Burbank. The prices cannot be beat and the food is delicious. It's like McDonald's prices but with a more interesting delicious Asian cuisine. We decided to get a spread and try a bit of each thing, so we got the Chinese sausage fried rice, chow mein, braised pork belly & potato, orange chicken, pepper kurobota pork, beef curry, & Brussels sprouts. My bf LOVEDDDDD the braised pork belly. Orange chicken can seem basic, but theirs was perfect with a crunchy outside and juicy chicken inside. Way better than panda. My favorite will always be the pepper kurobota pork, it's so savory & spicy and the peppers have this almost meat-like, fatty texture that's so delicious with their slight char. And this all was only $50 and is enough to feed way more than two people, we have sooo much leftovers! I would def have added one more side dish, like the plain white rice for a better side to main ratio. We will definitely make this our staying in & pigging out go-to spot! read more

Kind of surprised at all the great reviews, I thought the food was "meh." The crispy chili pork was a bit over fried, too hard for the plastic forks, so use chopsticks. The wagyu & kurobuta rice bowl was good but I'll try chow mein next time. The garlic eggplant & green beans was the best of the 4, but better at Thai restaurants. The orange peel chicken was very average, Panda's is fresher. Service was good (soft opening). She offered us tastes of whatever we wanted, so I should have tried more before ordering. That might slow things down if it's crowded (I went at 2pm on a Thursday). Ambiance is typical fast food with a Japanese industrial feel. I'll update my review if I go back to try other things. Maybe compare their dumplings to Chubby Dumplings next door. Unfortunately, my foodie buddy probably won't be up for it. read more
