Stopped in to have a cocktail and appetizer. Beautiful inside, and the service was attentive. We will definitely visit again when we are in town.
Fantastic place, great atmosphere and service. Delicious food! They have several options for vegan and GF. We ordered Matcha and a fruit tea. Both were great, especially if you like matcha! We tried the Pop fries and dumplings. Both were favorable and delicious! I got the Tofu Vermicelli noodles, are first I didn't think the sauce on side would be enough, but it was and perfect. The Firecracker was very favorable and spice was great! The place was clean and reminds me of dinner seating. The music playing was loud but not too loud. We will come again!!!
I absolutely love Ramen, and find myself to be a bit of a connoisseur of the delicious Japanese dish. To be more specific VEGAN ramen. I've made it a thing to visit as many restaurants that offer vegan ramen as I can in Ohio to see where they all stack up. So after seeing T+L offered vegan options, I was sold. For appetizer, I ordered spring rolls, which were good, but for the price I wouldn't order again as you get two small rolls not 3 or 4. I went with the vegetable + tofu Ramen - which was pretty tastey and had great toppings, although I feel the broth lacked the boldness and flavor I always look for from a vegetable broth. So I added some spice which helped with the flavor. I took home an order of the curry ramen which was all packaged in the same container which was odd seeing as I that thought that option also came with broth. Taste wise it was decent, but I'd op for the veggie ramen if I was to go back. Place look great and the service was also pretty great although they didn't let us know that they charge for sauces. I can't eat yum yum sauce so I asked for sweet & sour and was charged for that and the chili oil. - I'd give T+L 3 1/2 stars
Not my favorite ramen spot, but their Dan Dan noodles were great! I highly recommend this place for noodle specifically. I tried their ramen, the noodle in the ramen are average, and you have to make sure you sub for pork belly, otherwise you get turkey
I was in Columbus by myself for work and happened upon Tiger Lily by doing a Yelp search. What a great find! I ordered their signature dish (the tiger) and it was delicious; and I told my waiter as much. Speaking of the waiter, he was very knowledgeable and even recommended the most comfortable table to sit at. The space was clean and quiet, which I appreciated after a long day. Great restaurant!
Overall: 9/10 Food: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Value: 7/10 Really, really good food. Unique and tasty. It was an amazing gem that we found along our visit to Columbus. The only thing that was better than the food was the service! Check this place out if you're in the neighborhood.
We arrived at 8:25 PM and were immediately told the kitchen was closing in 6 minutes, which made the entire experience feel rushed from the start. I understand restaurants have closing times, but if customers are still being seated, the atmosphere shouldn't feel like we're inconveniencing the staff for ordering food. I ordered an appetizer and ramen, but the appetizer never came out. Then when I tried the ramen, the protein was chicken. I honestly thought the order was wrong because I've never been to a ramen restaurant where chicken was the default protein without it being clearly stated. The chicken was also so dry and flavorless that it felt like something you can give your dog oh and it they put very little of it in the soup. When I asked about it, I was told pork belly was an additional substitution. That definitely could've been communicated better. To make matters worse, the staff started rushing us out as it got closer to 9 PM. It's a sit-down restaurant, so customers staying slightly past closing after being seated shortly beforehand should be expected. One of the employees was also unnecessarily rude during the experience. Overall, the service and food quality were disappointing, and unfortunately this was the worst ramen experience I've had. I wouldn't return.
Food was meh. Maybe the taste is good, but I can't say it's authentic. With a name like Tiger + Lily, I thought they would focus more on southeast Asian food. I can't speak to parking, but the downtown area is walkable. There are restrooms behind the cashier. The restaurant felt more contemporary than I expected. Maybe it's more lively at night because of the bar. I was here for lunch on a Saturday, and it got pretty full. Drinks: Milk green tea $4.50 - watered down, too much condensed milk. Not good at all. Did not finish the drink. Taiwanese milk tea $4.50 - also watered down. Hong Kong silk tea $4.50 - mid. Boba $0.50 topping - chewy, no sweetness. I do not recommend. Appetizers: Chicken karaage $8 - we got the spicy lily dry rub, which made the karaage taste like the inside of a gyoza, very peppery. Additional sauces are $0.50. I expected Japanese karaage, but this wasn't it. Chicken wings $9 - super crispy and jumbo. Ironically the wings might have been the best dish we ordered at this Asian food eatery. Crispy dumpling $7.95 - gyoza w a sweet sauce. I don't recommend this either. Entrees: Lemongrass chicken $10.95 - I don't recommend this. The chicken portion was small. It was mushy - maybe some pieces weren't chicken breast. Too much rice. Rice was wet, like it feels mushy when chewing. The purple cabbage gives the dish color but that's it. Flavor was good, but too much pepper. Tiger signature $14.95 - option for pork belly is additional $2. Flavor is good but not quite the same as traditional ramen. Angus beef noodle $15.95 - flavor is good here. Noodles are decently al dente, but they're using thin ramen noodles for a traditional Taiwanese noodle dish. Beef was cooked ok (on the tough side) but scarce :( I would have liked to try the mala tofu dish or the inferno heat level on the curry. I'm curious how spicy they can go. Gratuity is added for parties of 6 or more.
Food was amazing. Very attentive waitress. Great place to kick back and enjoy some delicious ramen while it's cold.
I stopped by Tiger + Lily as dinner before I went to the Symphony down the street, so I knew I'd be tight on time and had to choose a restaurant carefully to make it to our seats at the theatre. It was the perfect choice! I was in and out in 50 minutes and left feeling satisfied. My ramen was a little plain, but the dumplings were super flavorful and the spring rolls were super fresh and piping hot! I only noticed indoor seating, it was pretty busy, and there were only a few servers, but it was a great experience and I would certainly go back.
The Tiger Signature ramen was great as usual, but the okonomiyaki was so delicious! Perfect amount of sauce and toppings. Well balanced flavor.
Great spot serving a wide variety of Asian food options. I tried the ramen and tofu, ramen was excellent and tofu was flavorful as well. Located centrally in downtown, staff was friendly as well.

Had to wait maybe 5 minutes for a table. As soon as a party left, the server completely wiped down the table and sat us. I used the yelp menu to order because I like picture, they just help. Started with edamame, the beans were a bit hard and could have used more salt, but oh well. I got the signature ramen, loved it. Hubs got angus steak ramen, him being a strictly meat and potatoes guy, loved it. Got wavy ramen for the kids and they actually ate it. Great service, clean place, very happy! Total was $60 w/o tip. Not bad. The food was all fresh. read more

If you are a Thai food lover, you will love Tiger + Lily! The servers were extremely attentive and kind, even when they spilled some of the ramen my daughter ordered. They brought her a new one right away without us even having to ask. The ambiance is modern and chic. The outdoor seating is small, but so is all outdoor seating downtown. I ordered the vegetable rolls and the Tso Good Chicken (one of their most popular dishes) with house made Yum Yum sauce. I'm so sad we have to go back home tomorrow and can't be regulars! Excellent food, fantastic staff, and lovely vibes for a great price. read more

The presentation of the food is really pretty and the okonomiyaki was my favorite! The waiters are pretty friendly and are willing to assist if needed :) The broth of the ramen is balanced and doesnt get you wanting to drink a gallon of water by the end of the night like some ramens do. read more

This place was good, but I wasn't overly impressed as I was expecting. The crispy dumplings were really nice and had good flavor, while my signature ramen bowl was not as flavorful as I was hoping. The depth of the chicken just wasn't there. The noodles were nice, but the soy egg was not very tasty. They also put a few chunks of chicken in randomly that felt over cooked/bland. I just discovered Tiger + Lily this month and it has become a favorite for flavor from first bite! I have now eaten here twice and both times the food was absolutely delicious. First visit was really good overall. This review is for my second visit, and the speed of service was to the point I almost asked my partner if he wanted to leave before we were even given waters or a menu but I didn't. We arrived at 5:49pm and I was excited that I would make the end of happy hour. It was 6:07pm when our food was put in from the receipt time stamp. So about 15 mins. The food was really great, but the speed of service not so much. I would not let the slow service stop you from enjoying a meal here though. For parking, you can look on or around Gay Street. I ended up finding an app meter spot on North 3rd Street. Twice now I have ordered the TSO Good Chicken Bowl ($11.95). It is a panko-crusted chicken. I went with the Yum Yum sauce for the dish this time and would recommend going with the standard tangy citrus sauce. The bowl comes with a very small mix of salad, some very yummy rice, and assorted mix of their house apple cider pickled vegetables. The slightly pickled cucumbers are my favorite and all the flavors are really amazing in the dish. We got an order of Crispy Dumplings to share ($7.95). I really liked these and will have to get these again! Totally recommend this appetizer and perfect for two to share. My partner had the Tiger's Signature ($14.95) - It is ramen in a beef broth with minced spicy turkey, caramelized chicken chashu, soft boiled egg, enoki mushroom, corn, scallions, nori, sesame seeds, shredded pepper, their house special black garlic and added the pork belly too (+$2). He really enjoyed it and said it had a lot of bright flavors working together. Service was extremely slow both visits but this visit was the worst. The restaurant has a nice casual feel and fun appeal to it but seating is a bit limited. I had to sit at the window bar both times which is really getting old, especially for this date night but with it as it was a Friday and happy we could get a seat. Another critique is during happy hour you get $2 off an appetizer and we missed it. I would recommend coming earlier due to the length of time to be seated and to order. This visit took way too long to get someone to come around to drop off water, to get menus and to order. It was about 15 minutes and left me looking around a couple of times for our server. I missed the happy hour price but it was only $2 so wasn't the end of the world but would have been nice if it was honored. I chose not to say anything about the service or the bill so that's on me for not wanting to be "that guy". The service was friendly and I would absolutely come back for the food. There is so much more I would like to try, I would just recommend to allow more than enough time and be prepared to wait during every step of the dining process. I am talking about from being seated, to ordering and getting your food, to getting your check and paying. Definitely a major area for improvement but you can't go wrong with the food. read more

Tiger + Lily is a new-to-me ramen establishment, both characteristics that make me immediately interested in checking them out. There is a lot of potential here, but they are not quite there. I ordered two "signature" menu items: The Pop Fries (waffle fries, Korean BBQ Angus steak, kimchi, green onion, sriracha, Japanese aoli, Parmesean cheese), and Numbing Beef (thick noodles, Angus beef tenders, Szechuan peppercorn, chili peppers, tomato, garlic, green onions, cucumbers, spices, sesame seed) The fries came out looking golden but very undercooked and without the beef. The Numbing was over-seasoned to the point that bites were "gritty" from the seasonings that were thrown in but unable to be cooked into the dish due to the prep and/or volume. I abandoned the fries after two bites and did the same with over half of the Numbing. The wait staff did not check on me during my meal or ask if everything was alright when they carried off nearly full plates. Bad, right? I want them, though, to be good. I'm hopeful that this is something that will sort itself out before I'm back in town again, though I have to be honest, I will have to talk myself into taking a second chance. What you need to know: * Limited street parking * Soft drinks are served by the can, not fountain * Be sure to advocate for yourself as a customer if your order is subpar * Lots of street art in the area to check out read more

Super cute spot! Food was absolutely delicious! I had the steak bowl with brown rice. It was loaded with veggies and quite flavorful. I also had the crispy dumplings, which were also quite good (and I consider myself a dumpling connoisseur). The Autum sangria was very refreshing but not too strong. This is the best! My husband and I have a commitment that we have to come back every month to get their Beef noodle. This bowl is the best ramen in Columbus! I always have a hard time to choose between Lemongrass chicken and Korean BBQ chicken, both of them are sooo good and I have to get it with yum yum sauce! They make their yum yum in house! One of my favorite spots to grab food here in the #cbus is at @tigerandlilyinspired. The appetizers and entrees are pretty amazing here. I have not found a dish that I do not like yet. My go-tos are the crispy chicken dumplings, wings, turkey tan tan, and the Korean #BBQ #CHICKEN bowl. If you can't do spicy, make sure that you tell them to adjust the spice level to your liking. I usually top my meal off with the passionfruit green tea. The service is average for the most part. Meaning they'll take your order with a pleasant smile and get it right for the most and it's relatively quick and speedy service. Ambiance kind of depends on the time of day. During the day time you have a more businessy type of feel. Most folks come in with their teams long enough to eat within 30 mins and then be out. Perfect place if you're in town for work travel, especially if you're solo, as it's very chill and very casual. It's also very inexpensive! I came in and ordered a lychee sake martini, which came right out. The place itself was not that crowded - most people came in for take out orders. I ended up going with the Tom Yum Ramen, which was highly recommended. It was hella spicy! Luckily, they were super nice enough to give me extra broth. I am so happy I ate it here so I was able to tone down the spice. Once I did, I thought it was very tasting. Super filling too! I could have easily split this! The bill ended up being $24 for both which is incredible! Service was great, everyone was very friendly. I need one of these by me in FL! read more

Place This place is my by far favorite noodle place. Literally thinking about this place makes me want to drive back to Ohio for this. They have a spacious seating and are covid friendly. Service The service is good and they helped me choose their specials. Food/price They are mainly for their spicy numbing noodles and I also tried their shaved ice. The noodles were fire and so good! I throughly enjoyed the chewiness of the noodles and the broth. Be aware this is for people who can handle spice. I also fell in love shaved ice Bc it is shaved milk ice so it makes a big difference. We tried the mango flavored and it was a plus Audience I went with a friend and it was so good. We got the same noodles and it was worth! Recommendation/tips I recommend this place 100% read more
Came here with a friend for indoor dining on a weekday and they were a decent bit busy. We both split an order of their fries app (because who can resist some kimchi and waffles fries, am I right???) and each got our own ramen. The fries were pretty good - I wish they had a little bit more filling to fries ratio but what they did have was great. The signature ramens were also interesting - it looks like they use turkey as the base meat for them. I did really like the flavors of the broth. I'm usually more of a creamy, hearty broth kind of person, but there's something to be said about a great solid clear one too. They're also very generous with the noodles. I will say I'm not the biggest fan of the turkey though - the ground meat was okay but the slices were a little dry and didn't add much flavor. I think if you're craving ramen this might be a solid choice, and they look like they've got a lot of cool desserts and drinks (and boba?) options too! read more

Stopped by last night for dinner. Even though the ac wasn't working they did an excellent job making it feel comfortable inside. Our server was amazing and the food was great! I split a few appetizers with my friends- vegetable rolls and pop fries and my entree was the teriyaki tofu. And of course had to have a Thai tea with boba! read more

We came here for dinner on Sunday, 01/02/23 for a quick dinner. Meter parking was pretty easy to find right in front of the place. Ambience: its a small, but cute place. However its was FREEZING in there; I looked around and the other customers had their coats on too. Our reason to eat ramen in the winter was to warm up so the cold temperature in the place at arrival was not great. Having said that, the establishment heated the place about 30-45 mins into us sitting down because we were literally rubbing our hands together every 2 secs. Food: we got the fried dumplings, two ramens and the karage chicken. All the food was delicious however the meat portions in the ramens was TOO little. There were only a few pieces of chicken in the tom yum ramen and less than a handful of the minced turkey in the turkey ramen. We were really disappointed with that and its the reason I took the star out. Service: pleasant and friendly. Would I recommend and return? I would recommend but it will be a little while until I return; I think I will try a few other places and if I find another one with the same flavors but not skimping on the meat, that might be the one.. tbd. read more

First time here in the city & saw good reviews on this restaurant.. TIGER + LILY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. We went in a little hangry with growling tummies and they were pretty quick with our food. Good service. Great atmosphere. The spicy ramen was the highlight. The food left me wanting to go back again soon. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves a delicious, comforting bowl of ramen! read more

No. We walked in on a Friday night and were seated immediately.
