Teriyaki sauce is thick and sweet, used for dipping and as condiment. Teriyaki marinade is thin and super salty, used to marinate meats. Orange chicken was super hard and too much batter. Ok wow. This is a hidden gem in an unassuming plaza in Orange. The prices are affordable, portions are great and flavor is on point. All plates come with an egg roll, shredded cabbage salad and white or brown rice. You can also ask to add green onions for garnish. The chicken and steak plate is their biggest seller and I can see why. It's seasoned well and the steak uses a better quality beef. It's not that cheap, thin shredded type meat. It's prob flank or something but it's a bit thicker than I normally find at a teriyaki joint. The volcano chicken was surprisingly good. Has a sweet spicy glaze over fried chicken chunk. I saw they even had a shrimp version and I think I want to try that one next. The sauce tastes similar to this Korean sweet chili fried shrimp dish. Due to this being such a popular and affordable place, yes the wait is very long. Their phone orders are non stop. So if you don't have time, don't order and give the workers a hard time.
