I have gone to many tile stores, but what set this store apart is their customer service and their willingness to help you pick the right tile for your project. I came here at 6, but didn't leave till 10pm, when they close at 7pm. David and Jackie are very friendly, Jackie spent a lot of time with us trying to find the right tiles and colors that would work with my bathrooms. Amazing bathroom and kitchen job! David and his team were fabulous. They were detailed in installing our tiles, backsplashes, and accent pieces. Couldn't ask for a better team. Our 3 bathrooms turned out amazing... very modern and updated. They also did the backsplash in our kitchen, which gets a lot of positive comments every time people visit. Lastly, they also worked on the tiles in the foyer. There was a mistake in the layout of the tiles, and David went above and beyond to fix it. We called him in the evening. He came back right after dinner to fix the tiles because by the next day, it would have been set and too late. Jackie works in the store, and was very patient and helpful to us in all the selection as well. Overall an A++ crew! They told me they just re-opened after closing the shop for a number of months. If you got a busy signal previously, maybe try again? I had to contact him for something one year after the job, and he was still very responsive and helpful. read more

His price though is not cheap, but you pay for the quality of his team, making his price very reasonable compared to many contractors in the market. And Jackie is the ultimate hard working person who helped us redesign our bathroom tiles three times. We're very picky with our designs and Jackie helped us finalize the look we always wanted. We just upgraded our kitchen countertops to quartz. I could not have asked for a better experience. We worked with Gus in selecting the quartz and scheduling the installation. Gus made great suggestions on how to save $$ and was honest if we were better off going through another source for some project materials. Communication was excellent with material selection, scheduling and during the project. Tile & Stone Central removes old countertops which is not offered by many granite and quartz installers. It was really helpful to have one contractor do the demolition/fabrication/installation as this minimized kitchen downtime and not have the hassle of coordinating with multiple contractors. The team who did the work are very conscientious and detail oriented professionals who take pride in their work. There was not enough material near the window and the team had a very creative solution and that was to create a windowsill with leftover remnants and it looks great! Our new quartz countertops are beautiful and we are very happy with the whole experience. We have future home projects and will go back to Tile & Stone Central. read more

We must have gone back to Tile & Stone Central at least 5-6x, kids in tow, and every time Jacky & David took the time to walk us through options, laying things out on the floor and providing their expertise without being pushy or rushing us in any way. I am a homeowner and I had been looking for wall tile, mosaic floor tile, and mosaic trim tile for a new shower. I had been to a few other tile stores in the San Jose and Santa Clara area, but had not been impressed with the customer service. So I looked up Tile and Stone Central. This tile store is located off Central and is pretty easy to find, but there isn't a big sign from the road so you have to be looking for it. Jackie runs the shop and David contracts the labor/installation. Sometimes, if the store is very busy with other customers, you have to wait to be helped. But just have patience, working with Jackie is totally worth it! She probably spent at least an hour every day for a week with me while we went through almost every tile they have in stock. She really tried to find the style that I liked best and she even steered me away from some options that she knew were going to be too expensive. I totally value that in a business when they are more concerned with your happiness rather than just making money. Ordering the tile through them was pretty easy and straightforward. However, since I ordered a Happy Floors tile, it took about 2 weeks to ship from Miami and the customer covers the shipping cost. Since I didn't have a contractor to replace our existing shower and put in the new tile, I asked David to do the installation. His quote was very reasonable. We had a misunderstanding about scheduling the start of the job since the tile arrived later than expected, but David moved his schedule around for me and was very accommodating. We finished in budget and on time. David was also very responsive, both on email and phone. It was nice to be able to get a hold of him after the day's work and understand what was going on, and he never seemed bothered that I had so many questions. The crew also followed my sketches and design drawings very well so that it would look the way we wanted in the end. We wanted as minimal grout lines as possible and David and his team were able to achieve that. He even helped me pick the perfect color of grout. The end result was great! I love the new tile in our shower. The workmanship is excellent. I would go back to Jackie to buy any tile that I need in the future from her and I would use David again as well. David even got contracted with Vadara quartz company so we can get the quartz thru them with a discounted price (cheaper than other companies). They both are very professional and tremendously helpful. When my order of tiles came in, a few of them were damaged during shipping. I sent a picture to David for those and he took care of that right away. An overnight fedex package was sent by the supplier at no additional cost as a replacement. Both David and Jackie gave me excellent suggestions for the entire project of tile installation, and more importantly most of their valuable advice came in AFTER their sale was done.
