Definitely a hole in the wall! We came with some skepticism but was proven wrong by how delicious the food and service was. Time Thai delivered a meal that we felt deserved a 10/10. Upon entering we noticed a small line and given it is a small space with only a few tables we had a short wait. That said, our waiter worked efficiently to ensure we get our food shortly after sitting down by taking our orders just before seating. We ordered the fried chicken ($7) which is a must try item here. We also got their Kao Soi and chose Thai spicy and crab fried rice as spicy. Being a spice lover I was impressed by the fact that I tasted spice and it was the level I expected. I often feel disappointed by Thai restaurants whereby I ask for extra spicy only to find there is no spice. That said, our waiter was also very attentive and paid attention to every table and their needs. Being the only waiter on the floor we appreciated his attention to detail and speedy service. I came here on my lunch break, and I ended up wishing I had more time to sit and eat. They offer outdoor dining on a small patio in front of their shop, with quick and kind service. I ordered a chicken pad Thai Togo, and medium spicy beef and eggplant to eat there. The food came out in little time. The eggplants are beautifully colored, not too soggy, and blended well with the other vegetables including green beans, bell peppers, and basil. Everything, from the vegetables, meat, sauce... everything was well flavored and delicious! The dish came with white rice and a mixed greens salad with sesame dressing (I think). The first one was just stemed vegetables with a bunch of peanut sauce on top and the fried rice could have been made better. Focus on quality would be a huge plus for this establishment. My group and I pretty much took up the whole outdoor dinning area. Our server was very friendly and accomodating. As part of their grand opening they offered free Thai tea for all purchase over $20. So we were offered the Thai tea, as we had ordered a lot of food. Unfortunately, they made the mistake of adding salt instead of sugar..... as a cook myself it is important to always taste before you serve anything to customers. We didn't make it a big issue and the server offered a different drink, but we just went with our water. Overall our experience was good. The food was fine and the service was professional. There was a little wait for our food as we were the first one there when they just opened for dinner service. One highlight dish was the eggplant stir fry which I would definitely recommend and the Pad Thai noodle with just the right amount of sweet and tang to it. read more

I placed a Togo order on Sunday evening for pad see ew (opted for the fried chicken as a protein - the person taking my order over the phone helped make that substitution easy as can be) and an order of their veggie samosas. As a promotion, the restaurant is giving customers with $20+ orders a free Thai iced tea. And when I arrived to pick up, the process was very easy, COVID friendly, and fast. This place opened during Covid and we wanted to supper then as well as other venues. Food is okay and service is atypical for Thai, a culture known for hospitality as lovely as their cuisine. Time thai misses the mark on several levels. An order of rice is actually a half order. "One scoop," stated the manager when I had to return to get more rice after just having gotten home with our dinner. It doesn't fill half the small white container. There was no apology for the inconvenience. The final insult: our food was warm/cold and clearly has been sitting...after bing quoted 50 minutes for pickup. Won't be returning anytime soon. Visited during the tail end of Friday lunch. Ordered the Crab Curry Bomb and Pad Thai Fried Chicken. Crab Curry Bomb was thick with flavor and crab chunks. The fried chicken is crispy and moist. Fantastic! Very reasonably priced. But our waitress was very busy. Despite there being 4 employees on the floor, she was doing all the customer-facing work. So service was a bit slow. Management needs more staff. I'm knocking down 1 star because parking is very limited. It's in a small complex with other businesses vying for not enough parking spaces. It's also a small joint with only a few tables and it's cluttered. Food's great so we'll be returning. But IMHO, best way to enjoy Time Thai Kitchen is to order take out. read more

This is not a good review, but oddly I would go back. I went here with my wife. Our order: 1. Tom Yum soup. Neither hot nor sour. Flavor of tomato. Nothing else. As bland as can be. My wife liked it but I hated it. 2. Larb Salad. Again, no flavor at all. At a Thai place! My wife was a bit more positive about it, but I thought it sucked. 3. Crab Fried Rice. Nicely cooked egg and quality lump crab. Very plan white rice and really nothing else, so it was quite bland. My wife and I were in agreement on this. The good news is that we had no intention of eating it solo, but with the entree. 4. Green Beans with Chicken. Solid. Nothing special. We said "spicy" and he suggested "medium". Medium was terrible -- no spice. But he gave us a bunch of hot sauce which made it a little better -- much better to have it actually cooked with spices though. So the food overall was 1.5-2 star at best. Service was a full 5/5. It was awesome. I'd go back because I would ramp up the spice and choose different dishes -- I think they try hard and probably do a great job. It's just that what we ordered wasn't for us.
