Came here after a job interview as I had this on a list of places that I've been meaning to go to and it was on the way back home. Tisane has a decent amount of parking (with two spots reserved for going there) and has a pleasant, club-like ambiance with two claw machines that had Nintendo plushies in them. It appears that you are able to pay for a chance to play on the claw machine with the use of Apple Pay, which is a nice touch but not what I was there for. I ordered my drink, the Blush, through the kiosk. As I was attempting to pay, there were multiple occurrences where the card would not be accepted through Apple Pay. When it finally got through from me having to pull out my physical credit card, it proceeded to charge me twice for one drink. The drink was also just okay; I got it at 25% sweetness which was a decent level for me, but it tasted oddly artificial. The strawberry hearts also had a somewhat inconsistent texture, as some pieces were harder to chew than others. Overall, a mediocre experience. I'm sure one of their other drinks are better, but there are probably better places in Berryessa that you can go to.

Wow! I didn't know there was a Tisane in this part of San Jose! We were getting our water jugs filled up next door and were surprised to see Tisane! It was completely empty for a Sunday afternoon! They have self ordering kiosk and also a worker at the cashier. They had specialty drinks such as blueberry matcha, coconut matcha, coco killa (coffee drink blended with cocoa pebbles) and so much other drinks to choose from their menu. I opted for the coconut matcha drink and it was a sweet coconut water with chunks of coconut and matcha foam and it was actually really good! My husband got the coco killa. It was a little too sweet for my own liking but also not bad. This Tisane has the same exact vibe as the one in ESJ. A great place to meet with folks and grab a boba tea drink.

This new boba spot is convenient with easy access and plenty of parking. We ordered the thai tea and it was delicious. The portions and pricing are reasonable. They have a club style seating area which makes it a fun spot to chill. The service is quick and the staff is friendly. Definitely would make more visits!

Had the Matcha Vibe and tried the Barney & Fruits. The Matcha Vibe was so good. It's both a drink and dessert all in one, especially if you add the honey boba. It's described as a blended matcha milk. I would compare it to milkshake but lighter. It was frothy light and creamy at the same time. The Matcha was swirled around the side of the cup. The Matcha flavor was just right for the drink that it complements the drink rather than overpower the milk. The honey boba was chewier than most I've had, not too sweet. Really enjoyed this drink. There's no option for level of sweetness but I feel that it didn't need adjustment. Really good drink. The Barney & Fruits was refreshing. It's had chunks of mandarin oranges. Drinks are about $6.95 each. Drinks came out pretty quickly. Staff was patient and friendly. Small but quaint sitting area.

New location! I still remember when the other one was packed and the parking lot was insaaane. Blush: Worth the drive, if I'm in the area. I've tried a few other drinks but this is a consistent re-order, and very popular with other customers. Rly rly like the star jellies!! Otherwise the plaza seemed pretty dead the night I visited, so there was parking. Service was prompt in coming out with our drinks quick, since we ordered through the kiosk. I'd probably only come back if I was craving this specific drink.

Tisane is one of a few boba cafes that stayed open till 11 in the evening whereas most surrounding business are closed. Bro and I came by on a Saturday afternoon and we were greeted by a friendly staff. We were able to sample some of the drinks before we placed our orders. You can pay up front or by self service kiosk. I chose ark-nado a ube blended drink with added cinnamon toast toppings similar to halo-halo a Filipino summer drink rich in flavor Bro chose vida-mocha frappe with whipped cream toopping. Drinks were quite refreshing 25% less sweetness medium ice both price under $7 seems to be the norm. Interior is quite spacious and check out those illuminated cube tables a popular trend to draw in customers for a late night drinks or social gathering. Tisane is more of a nightclub bar than a boba cafe a definite hit for those crowd-pleasers.

We were looking for a drink on a Saturday night and saw that this new Tisane location was open, so we decided to check it out. The inside seating is pretty spacious with tables lining the walls and an area new the window to sit / wait for your drink. Our drinks came out pretty fast even with the line and I like their creative drink names on the menu. Two to Mango - This drink was very refreshing with a nice mango flavor that shone through. I loved the mango jelly stars and the fact that they gave a lot of toppings. It was a great balance of sweetness to bitter tea flavor for me. A very vibey boba shop that I would definitely go back to if I was in the area.

Service - 5/5. The lady at the counter was so friendly and asked if I wanted to get a sample of any of the drinks on their menu (#1 to #23). I thought it was such brilliant idea to offer sampling as it will allow the customer to get the drink that they know will like and they will come back again in future. Food 5/5 for sure since I sampled 4 different drinks before I ended with the drink of my choice, called RPM. I love the sweet and tangy citrus taste. It's a combination of jasmine green tea, red guava, passion fruit, mango drink and I added the white pearl boba to the drink. Their melon rouge and #12 Barney and Fruits drinks are nice too. I will come back for #12 next time. Love the dragon fruit and lychee combination with hint of Orange. Ambiance 4.5/5. Cozy dim lightings with a few sofa seatings and right volume of music.

Honey longan. I don't think those whole longan can fit through my straw.

This place is the same as the first location which is still average to me. Their drink still taste pretty artificial out of most of the places I've tried. I still haven't found something I really REALLY like. Two suggestions - 1) Put all items on the online order menu. The honey longan one I ordered wasn't available for pre-order through their website. 2) Cut up your fruit into pieces that will actually fit through a straw. (see picture). I couldn't eat them until I was done with my drink.

yelp coming through, once again. it was a hot saturday afternoon and we were craving something to cool us down. tisane was half a mile away so we came here. walked in into a very clean establishment. there were so many yummy choices on the menu and we were offered to try flavors we wanted. i eventually chose the totaro and let me tell you, it was the best Taro flavor drink i've ever had. my family ordered other flavors as well so i was able to try them all and all were good. the staff was very friendly which is an added bonus and the drinks came out really fast.

It's nice how they opened a Tisane closer to my house now! The interior is just like their other location, super dark and club-esque lol. I ordered from the kiosk and got my drink a few minutes later. It's been a while since I've had tisane, and I was impressed with the quality of their drinks.

What I did not anticipate was how annoying it would be to get 24 people to actually respond and send me their orders on time. Apparently, getting married was easier than getting everyone to pick a sandwich and a drink. I finally gave everyone a hard Wednesday night deadline, collected all the orders, and walked into Arome Cafe the next day, just two days before my wedding, with an order for 24 meals and 24 drinks, along with very specific instructions about the pickup time and exactly who would be picking everything up. Needless to say, I was probably giving off some slightly stressed-out bride energy. And then there was Hannah. Hannah was absolutely amazing. She patiently went through everything with me, made sure every single order was entered correctly, confirmed all of the pickup details, and even took the extra time to write everyone's names on their individual food items so there wouldn't be any confusion on the wedding day. With 24 different people and orders, that small detail made such a huge difference. On a morning when there were a million things happening at once, Hannah and Arome Cafe were one thing I simply did not have to worry about. Everything was ready, organized, and exactly as we had discussed. Hannah, you were truly a quiet angel in the middle of our chaotic wedding morning, and I will always be grateful for how kind and helpful you were during a week when my brain was being pulled in about 500 different directions. And, of course, the food and drinks were amazing! Despite it being such a massive order, the quality was completely on point. Everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared with the same care you would expect from a much smaller order. Thank you, Hannah, for being so patient, organized, and genuinely kind. You probably had no idea how much taking care of something as simple as lunch meant to a bride two days before her wedding, but it was one less thing I had to think about, and at that point, that meant everything P.S. To the owners of Arome Cafe: I think Hannah deserves a raise. Seriously.

Came at July 16 at 11:35am, and ordered 2 pastas and a salad. Theres was only one other singular customer in the entire restaurant who looked like she's already been there a while and was already sitting down when we came in, and 30 minutes flew (which is the end of our lunch break) and that customer just got her food. So imagine how long it took for our food to come out 40+ minutes. I'm not mad about it at all but I was just genuinely so confused. Because it took 40+ mins our 2 pastas came out way before my salad. Even stopping by the crowded starbucks, all 4 of our drinks came out, and we had time to sit and chat and come back and our food was still not ready. I was so so lost about how my salad took so much time when it was just lettuce, proscuitto, and eggs. Compared to TWO whole pastas with chicken and bread. But they also forgot the bread that came out with it. I was actually just confused because the place was practically empty as well. The salad was really average however the pasta was too hard, needed to be boiled way longer, and just did not taste good unfortunately. I rarely give any one stars so this says a lot :( Would not return and should've went to the other spots in the plaza for lunch.

RANG Final…read moreThoughts: 4.50/5 Review for Rang. They have weekly matcha pop ups at Rose Tea Lounge. Original location is in Elk Grove, but they are here in San Jose area. Kind of hard to see and find them? given that there aren't really any signs posted outside. I perhaps wouldn't have known about it if my friend didn't tell me about it. Drink: Guava Matcha Einspanner: 4.5/5 This is their matcha with house-made guava puree at the bottom and topped with silky guava foam. Their foam is so nice and creamy. Felt very light and just thick enough. Silky consistency that mixed well with the drink. My friend noted that they make it fairly sweet, so I opted for the 25%. This was still quite sweet for me. Each component is sweet itself, so when you combine it, its mostly just sweet. No tartness to cut any of it. Perhaps the guava has something to do with that. Guava is a sweet fruit in general, so I seemed to expect as much. The matcha itself had a nice color to it. Very vibrant. Light bitterness. Lovely consistency overall. I like each component separately and I like them together when it's fully combined. Strawberry Matcha Einspanner: 4.5/5 This was my friends drink and I also really liked it. Had to try it for my review purposes. Per their Door Dash description, this is their matcha latte with their home-made strawberry puree and topped with velvety strawberry foam. There really wasn't much of a difference with this one and mine besides the fruit. His was slightly more tart than mine, which is something I like. Again, the drink itself leans more on the sweet side, so any sort of tartness would be nice to cut some of that. Matcha color is amazing. Nice and vibrant. Lovely silky consistency. I like the ratio of fruit flavor and matcha. Some places will make it just taste like milk, others have an imbalance of flavors. This one was just right for me. --------- Quality: Ceremonial Matcha and whisked to order We saw them whisk the matcha to order. Not really a display cooking kind of counter, but they do do all of that in the front where the cashiers are. You are able to watch if you so choose. I do like the matcha that they use, so it seems like a high quality one. That or it's because they aren't batching their matcha like other places. I understand that batching doesn't make it lower quality, but something about whisking it fresh is always better. Price: Average Will depend on the drink, but the prices are around $7 to $9. For our drinks, average around $8.25 per drink. Quite a common price range for a cup of matcha. This one was made well, so no complaints here. There was no upcharge for the oatmilk, which is always a plus for us. Service: Whisked matcha fresh No interactions today. We ordered directly on the kiosk and then just waited for our drinks to come out. Something that I like is that they whisk and make the matcha in front of us. Kind of hard to see, given my height and spot that we were standing, but they do whisk it in the front for us. Of note, they use this hand towel or cloth to wipe the bowls. Not sure how sanitation does with that, but I digress. Just an observation for today. Ambiance: Quaint Flower Café Vibes This place is giving very quaint flower café vibes. I would totally work here if I could work from home or if I needed to study. Space is incredibly spacious on the inside contrary to how the outside and plaza area is looking. Little dim lit inside, but that might be from the little lighting that's hitting through the windows given the angle and evening sun. Location/Parking: Small Plaza This place is like a pop-up/collaboration with Rose Tea Lounge. There's really no label for it outside of the storefront, but when you go into the café and on the kiosk, you can directly order from them. Kind of interesting how it works and I probably would have never seen it if my friend didn't bring me here. Location is not the best as it is right in a smaller plaza on the side of Story Road near the 101 freeway. At least they chose an area that is slightly less saturated. Vietnam Town is really close by and they really do have too much going on over there sometimes. Parking lot is also small, but it seems to work well with the smaller plaza size.

The shop is much larger than many other boba places I've been to, with plenty of tables if you want to hang out and enjoy your drink. I placed my order with the lady at the front and went with the Brown Sugar Boba Latte. Even though there were a few large orders ahead of mine, they worked quickly and my drink was ready in about 2-3 minutes. The first sip completely surprised me in the best way. The boba was perfectly chewy, exactly how I like it. Not hard at all. The brown sugar flavor was rich without being overpowering, and the drink itself was well balanced. It's easily comparable to some of my favorite boba shops in the Bay Area. I'm so glad I found this place while waiting for my car to charge. I'll definitely be back to try more of their drinks!
