One of the BEST Argentinian delis in the SGV. Tito's Market can do no wrong. As the name implies, Tito's market sells Argentinian foods, snacks, and drinks. They also have a deli with fresh cuts of meat, cheese, etc. similar to other small mom and pop delis. However, the best part of all is their subs! Tito's Market serves​ up AMAZING subs: cold and hot. My go-to order is the small milanesa sandwich (it's not that small) with an empanada. Milanesa is basically a thin-sliced steak that is breaded and seasoned. The milanesa sandwich is simple and includes the breaded meat, tomatoes, and chopped jalapeno/carrot spread (this is optional, but you're missing out on the full Tito's experience if you opt out of this truly unique spread...). Argentinian empanadas are savory meat-filled pastries. Tito's Market sells empanadas that are either filled with ground beef (my favorite) or chicken. You can also find a tasty green olive inside these scrumptious meat pies. If I'm really hungry, which I usually am, I will opt for a half pound of their seasoned french fries and a half pound of their wings. The wings are sold as either hot or mild, which I rotate (e.g. some days I get hot wings and some days I get mild). The wings are pretty good too because they have this slightly sweet taste to them that compliments their taste. Another goody here is their bbq ribs, which I order from time-to-time. I love the food here it's always fast and easy to get your food the only thing I wish they would bring back the jalapeño Poppers those are my favorite. The Argentinian sausage also another good thing here. For big events I would say call ahead to get your food in a timely manner cause it does get busy no matter what. read more

I came here because TikTok made me do it. There was a huge line when I pulled up to the shopping center however it moved fairly quickly. I ordered empanadas, wings and fries but to be honest I was a little underwhelmed. The empanadas are kind of bland& the wings are just spicy. But not a good spicy, just overwhelming spice that the only flavor my palet is able to taste is pepper. But I will give it up to them the papas are pretty tasty. They have a little kick BUT you can taste all the other seasonings. I will go next time to try one of their sandwiches, but only if I'm in the area. read more

I've been coming to Tito's AT LEAST once a year since I was like...5. 23 years later and I'm still making the drives there, sometimes going out of my way for 30+ minutes just to include a quick pit stop in the trip. Lines are long. But they move quickly and efficiently. Seating is somewhat limited inside, but I can honestly say I have never seen the place *not* perfectly stocked on napkins, forks, straws, etc. And the food is perfect. It is beyond perfect. The lomo is so tender and so well seasoned. The cheese is melty and perfect and the tomato is always perfectly ripe. The chile is finely diced Jalapeno that honestly just hits the spot. I can't say enough good things about this place. The biggest struggle is figuring out *what* to get the first few times we go. I recently introduced my partner to Tito's (he lives out of state) and every time he flies out to visit, we make the trip to Tito's from LAX before heading home to Ventura county- he swears by the chicken Neapolitana. read more

I've been going to this business since both owners were alive and they were not in the shopping center. I like their food however I have to say that the quality has declined. The empanadas are too expensive and not the same quality (they and the sandwiches are too expensive as well and mediocre compared to what they were years ago. When the owners are not involved anymore the product, service and quality are affected and it is showing. Unfortunately people dont care about paying for mediocre and continue to give them business without sharing that there food and business has not improved. It's been over 20 years and they have not even remodeled their business and taken care of it. It's mostly a grandson looking over this business and unfortunately he is not taking care of it as his grandparents would have. read more

This restaurant has been one of my must stops whenever I'm LA and continues to be. Since I was a child my family would stop here whenever we'd visit family out in LA. Whenever we come here we always take some back home for the road. The milanesas and empanadas are delicious and the ladies are always so friendly. Definitely worth checking out. I have been coming to Tito's Market since I was about 10 years old and yet never though to review it until now. But hopefully the fact that I just pointed it that I have frequented this establishment for 20+ years can serve as a testament to just how good this place is! Keep in mind that this is Argentinian food so it may not be what you typically think of when you think of sandwiches or subs. But if you're into Latin American food then I think you'll love Tito's! I have tried a variety of their sandwiches and they have never let me down. Their stuffed jalapeños and (spicy) fries are so tasty too! They also have a carniceria and small market area (mostly Hispanic food items)...so convenient! The ont downside to Tito's is that, because it is so popular, the lines can sometimes get pretty long, which means your wait can be pretty long too. read more

Counter service empanadas place in a grocery store. My dad had raved about the empanadas a few days ago so we made the trek on a Saturday to have it as lunch. Two empanadas make for either a heavy snack or a light lunch. We got 8 empanadas for about $18. You pay at the counter and wait for them to call your number. They do take credit card. The chicken empanadas we got were a new batch so they were muy caliente. The shredded chicken was so tender and juicy (some of the juice dropped down my hand as I ate so get napkins). The beef one has ground beef and it was flavorful, and both have an olive in them as a little surprise. The chicken was my favorite. There were some tables inside where you could eat, but we just took our food to go. There are bathrooms available as well as parking in a parking lot. The cashier was really nice and they speak English and Spanish. Overall these empanadas are a hidden gem and definitely off the beaten path, but if you ever find yourself in El Monte getting peckish, definitely get a couple of empanadas. read more

When we go to LAX we always have to stop by either going out or coming home. They used to pile on the cheddar cheese back in the day but now you just have to ask for it. other than that the tacos are great the salsa is awesome when you mix the jalapeño with it. Dont get delivery for your office. They delivered our food 1:15 late. By that time the staff only had time to scarf down the food. We ordered online and even tipeed. Was it Titos fault ? Tito blamed deliverly? I dont know but our food was more than an hour late and we did not enjoy our office party. read more

Oh my god this is the place to go if you want an empanada I have tried many empanadas if you look at my other yelp account you'll see I've been on an empanada tour. These empanadas are Argentinian style . These empanadas were stuffed with a delicious meat and delicious chicken along with some all of us which give it a unique flavor. While I was eating my empanada I took a peek at some of the sandwiches coming out of the back and they looked pretty good as well As such, I had to order the Milanese. So darn good. I inhaled it. Today, my department at work and I ordered lunch from Tito's via DoorDash. We had ordered food from Tito's before, and had generally been happy with the food in the past. Not this time. We had ordered 4 sandwiches, but 1 was missing. After waiting about an hour for the food to be delivered, one of my team members was left without his lunch. I called the restaurant and asked about this, and they basically wouldn't help to resolve this in a reasonable way. They first asked if we were close by (implying that we can drop by to pick up the sandwich). I told them that, no, we were not close by, and that's why we ordered our lunch via DoorDash and paid so much extra money for the fees and tips on DoorDash. I asked if they would issue me a refund, but they wouldn't oblige. They only offered that they could give me the replacement sandwich if/when I came into the store. I told them that I do not live or work near their restaurant, so it wouldn't make sense for me go out of my way, spend a good deal of time and gas, just to pick up a sandwich. To that, they didn't have a response, and would not offer any other resolution. By the way, in our order was also chicken wings, which were way over-fried, dark, hard, and dry. I don't blame them too much for the over-fried chicken wings and missing sandwich, which I assume were honest mistakes due to them being very busy during the lunchtime rush. However, I am not happy with their lack of a proper and reasonable resolution. read more

I ordered online and the order wasn't ready on arrival. I had to wait additional time after the proposed pickup time. I grew up in El Monte and spent a lot of my life hearing about Tito's but had never been. This is definitely a neighborhood gem. The line was long but went by really quickly and got my order fast too. The submarine sandwhich I ordered was great, as were the French fries.
