Stopped in on a Tuesday for brunch with a friend. Plenty of parking in the plaza and minimal wait time. We shared the Thai chile chilaquiles and ube French toast, and both dishes were yummy. I am not a huge bean person but I still enjoyed the chilaquiles with pulled pork and sunny side up egg. The picked onion slices helped to cut the heaviness a bit. The star was definitely the ube French toast. I knew I wanted to order it because it looked so beautiful in photos...but it also tasted heavenly!! The French toast was perfectly soft but not mushy. We waited until we were done with the chilaquiles before digging into the French toast and brioche was still fluffy. The ube cream had a whip-cream like consistency and not overly sweet. Delicious! We got the yuzu lemonade, which tasted exactly like the yuzu omoi sake but without the alcohol. A bright, relaxed brunch environment in Tustin. Thumbs up! read more

The food prep is based on volume. I ordered the basic American Breakfast and the eggs are prepped in steam trays, hash browns come from frozen batches, and strawberry preserves watery. The seats are steal and the place is cold so if you want your but to cold and sore after then this is your place. Came here for a late Saturday breakfast. Wait wasn't that bad, 10 minutes. We tried the one in Costa Mesa a while back, we had the chicken and waffles-really good. This time I wanted to try the Ube French toast. Omg! Amazing, btw! My only complaint for that dish was not enough lol. My husband got the blackened chicken sandwich. His only complaint was too spicy. The spice level took away from the natural flavors of the sandwich. One improvement I'd say, would be bigger glasses for water or leave a pitcher of water on the table. So happy to finally try Toast. I'm glad they are expanding because I heard the wait is usually long at the Costa Mesa location. We did still have a 30-40 minute wait on Sunday. I ordered the pandan latte (hot) because I wanted the creamy froth and latte art. This was delicious!! It was sweet but not too bad. My boyfriend got the pandan latte but with a shot of espresso which was yummy too. The pandan flavor wasn't as strong though since the espresso overpowered it. We shared the Ube French Toast and the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries. The Ube French Toast wasn't too sweet and I LOVED the crunchy coconut feuilletine!! This made the dish have texture that paired well with the fluffy ube whipped cream and brioche. The Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich was flavorful due to the kimchi, pickles, and slaw. The chicken was super juicy and tender. I really wonder how they cooked it to perfection like that. I do wish it was spicier. I should've asked for hot sauce to make it more elevated. The ube French toast was delicious. Tiny bit too sweet with so much cream but not dry and not soggy. The portion for this is relatively small. Also got the sisig breakfast burrito which was good but so oily and heavy on the pork belly and very little egg. It also wasn't wrapped very tightly so it fell apart. The wait wasn't terrible considering it was a Sunday. Service was pretty good but we sat at the counter. Ambiance just looks simple like a diner. Parking was free and easy/readily available. I would go back to try the other items or recommend it but can't say it's number one or at the top of my breakfast spot recs. All in all though food was good! read more

This restaurant is tucked away in a corner of a shopping center. It's a great location if you need to knock off multiple errands. There's free parking, but it's a busy location so it took a few laps to find a spot. There's indoor and outdoor seating and it's a dog friendly patio! They don't have a dog menu, but they were able to customize a dish for my dogs. They have great drinks and food. Everything looked so good it was hard to decide. The service was also good. It was a 45 minute wait, so I wouldn't come if you're starving. There's a cute outdoor seating aside from the restaurant you can wait at. Even though there's a wait, it's definitely worth it! Delicious and had to try this location. We waited about 25 minutes for our table on a Saturday morning, not too bad. They have indoor/outdoor/bar seating. The bakery section is smaller than the one in Newport Beach location. The menu is 1 page but has your elevated classics and for the portions it is decently priced. The avocado toast was delicious and very large. Our main entrees, we ordered the pork sisig burrito and that was so large that I did not need to eat anything for the rest of the day. It was very filling and delicious, a little saucy but really flavorful. The cold matcha soba noodles were good with the sauce and we added a steak protein. Service was beyond fantastic. I came with a friend for brunch on a weekday and were seated right away. The menu has a lot of very appealing options, all in the price range of $16-$22. The Ube French Toast was very sweet and the ube cream on the top was very flavorful. The portions were massive!! We also shared the Sisig Burrito which was also very flavorful and plentiful in avocado. We also got the Ube latte and Pandan Latte which were very vibrant and sweet. omg. i'm impressed. everything was perfect. food, service, cleanliness, ambiance. no pictures because we ate our food too fast lol. i got the breakfast sandwich with my eggs fried over medium instead of soft scrambled, my boyfriend got the pork belly banh mi, and my bestie got the sisig burrito, and they were all really, really good. also we got the chai chata and vanilla espresso martini cocktails, and they were good too! I wish I could give less than 1 star. Had high hopes. I will give the hostess praise. She was nice, attentive, and working hard. Our server, whose name I never got, started off well. And then she disappeared once the food arrived. We ordered the champagne flight, breakfast sandwich, churro French toast, and a side of the Nashville fried chicken. We tried to order an individual glass of champagne but they came back and said they were out and wanted to know if we wanted Sauvignon or Cabernet instead!?!?! No- no we don't want Cabernet with our breakfast. Mind you there were over 20 bottles sitting in the bar area. Guess they were saving them for some reason... The fried chicken appeared huge but half was just fried breading, no meat. That portion was inedible. The portion that was edible had ok flavor, nothing I'd crave again. The breakfast sandwich was ok. We added avocado and pepper and Tabasco to make it have flavor. Again, not something you'd run back for. That leaves the Churro French Toast. It was disgusting. The bread was hard and I'm not even sure it was cooked. They tried to smother it in butter and chocolate sauce to distract from the bread. Nothing could distract from how bad it was. ZERO FLAVOR. It was awful. I sat there for 15 minutes (or more) waiting for our server to come back while my husband ate the breakfast sandwich. No one came.... Finally I stopped a different server named Theresa. I let her know the churro French bread (I refuse to call it toast) was gross and inedible... and she smirked. No apology. No offer to even move the plate off the table. Just a stupid bullshit smirk. I had to ASK HER to take the plate away. WTF! She came back with the bill, placed it face down, and still didn't say a GD word. NO Customer Service skills whatsoever. (I've been a server and know how hard it can be. It's not a job for the faint of heart.) Basic social skills are needed to succeed. She needs a new line of work. They took the churro bread off the menu (or they would've had a full on Karen meltdown to deal with at this point). We paid and our original server suddenly reappeared walking by our table. Still no clue where she was hiding after our food was dropped off. Would have saved me and Theresa from having to deal with each other.
