Visited on Sunday morning for breakfast. Since there was a 45 minute wait, I decided to get take out. The host was less than happy to be working there and acted like she was the host of some upscale club not a restaurant. Very bad first impression of the place! Ordered the chocolate chip short stack, chicken and waffle and avocado toast. The chocolate chip short stack was just alright but the portion was huge. It could definitely feed 2-3 people. The chicken and waffle was undercooked. I was afraid to get salmonella poisoning so threw it out after only 4 bites. The avocado toast was good. Overall...I won't be returning. read more

We went here while it was raining hoping the wait would have been a little less, we were wrong. Not that it ruined any of the experience. The service was good, the food was great! I had the pork belly burrito which was really good, and my wife had the chicken and waffles. My wife would have liked a Buffalo sauce to go with that but they didn't have that. So excited they finally open!! Been waiting since last year. Great location! It's still early so we were able to get a table outside but service is slow. I'm guessing since they are new so that should be better. We waited over 25min for our meals and it wasn't overly complicated. I got the orange chicken salad and I have to say, the amount of chicken you get for $16, is quite sad! The glaze was very little if any, I could hardly taste it. Dressing was good and salad was crisp. My friend got the caprese which looked good. Her piece of burrata was actually decent compared to my sad chicken. We were too hungry for pictures but will have to take some when we return. I have to say that the siisig burrito was quite possibly the best burrito I've ever had. The pork was perfectly crispy and the kalamansi mayo was on point. It was an absolute explosion of flavor in my mouth. There was so much complexity and yet everything just came together in a symphony of deliciousness. It does not have an extensive menu, but everything sounds delicious. I opted for the Yuzu lemon caper chicken sandwich. The chicken was so tasty and very delicious. However, I did have a bit of sticker shock with the prices...$17.00 for my sandwich and it did not include any side. To add fries or tater tots was an extra $4. The sauce that came with the burrito was also AMAZING. The reason for my 4 stars is mainly because the hash browns were a little oily and there was a little hair in our french toast which we found later on. First time here and we will definitely be back. The menu is small but it has everything you need to choose a great breakfast meal. The service was great very friendly host and waiters. We tried the Pork Belly bowl, pulled pork chilaquiles and the PB&J french toast. The PB&J french toast was AMAZING!! I like french toast but this one was beyond delicious. The pork belly bowl was great as well we ordered extra protein to ensure it was a good balance. The pulled pork chilaquiles were also very tasty I thought it would be a little spicy but it wasn't. My husband and I really enjoy the Costa Mesa Toast so when we accidentally came upon the Toast in Tustin we were looking forward to this place and of coarse knowing we would be comparing the two restaurants. We live across the street and have been waiting so long for a new restaurant to fill this vacant spot since the previous one shut down after 2020. Then we finally saw a toast sign on the door saying coming soon! We've waiting so patiently for their doors to open and finally they did! My goodness they did not disappoint. Today we got to go for our first time and everything there is so lovely- from the delicious food to the waitstaff and even one of the sweet partners we met today. ($21, fries included) Ube French toast was retry ordinary. For $17, I would expect more. Yuzu lemonade was very water down, not much yuzu or lemons taste. We just dined there for lunch today. The food was 3.5/5. My Korean fried chicken sandwich was pink in the center. I should have taken a picture. I didn't eat that part because I didn't want to get sick. My sister got the chicken and waffles and also parts were pink. They didn't come once to check on us once the food was brought out. And when we did ask for water because my son finished his water (the glasses are small) and was thirsty waiting for 30 minutes, they came over and gave us water but seemed annoyed we were asking. Then to pay, we had to go in because still nobody had checked on us at all. That's fine if that's their practice but again, we paid and it was as just a bland transaction. Terrible service and it wasn't even busy so no reason - 1 Star for that. We can bring our money and our family elsewhere to dine. It was delicious, the pickled carrots,radish and cucumber added a nice crunch. Bread was a thick cut, but soft. Paired with the tator tots, although simple, they actually stole the show. Matcha latte was okay, just your basic iced latte. I give 3 stars because the service wasn't the best. Took a while for our order to be taken, was not checked on for water refills and when it was time to get the check, the waitress came by our table multiple times assisting everyone else but us.
