Toast is ducked off in a shopping center, took a minute to find this place. Ordered the Kickin' Chicken with "crack fries" in high hopes of an amazing chicken sandwich amidst the Popeyes hoopla. Eh, a bit disappointed- Popeyes is better, and the crack fries didn't live up to the coin. Food was mediocre, although the service here was pretty great. We tried Toast for the first time 5 weeks ago and ordered the Toast Breakfast Plate (two eggs, toast, choice of meat, and one pancake) and the Loaded Breakfast Burrito. We both chose the cheesy hash for our side. About all we tasted across the board was salt, especially in the cheesy hash. Fort some reason unknown even to us, we returned a couple of days ago, but this time we chose the Toast Chilaquiles and the Two Eggs Breakfast (eggs and pancakes), being sure to avoid the cheesy hash. While we didn't get the salt overload like last time, the food was still just flavorless. I guess the only flavor was coming from the salt shaker. The servers were attentive, which was the only thing that kept this review from being one-star. I think we've learned our lesson now and won't be back. read more

OMG so delicious. Everything I've had there has exceeded my expectations! The pancakes I seriously cannot get enough of!!! Every flavor is fabulous!!! And it's pet friendly. Great food but horrible service. I was the second person in the restaurant, it was empty. The first mistake was when the waitress set down our drinks with her hands around the rim of the cup. We were staying nearby and wanted to try something new for brunch. We stumbled across this place although it wasn't easy to find on our GPS. It's quite small so there isn't a lot of seating, but if you can wait it's worth the wait! I would highly recommend the Avocado Toast and the S'mores Donut. The donut doesn't look as good as it tastes but this twist on a Cronut (croissant/donut) was served warmed, flaky, gooey, and it literally melted in my mouth. Well I was looking for a quick bite before my doctors appointment and stumbled upon this little gem! Service was wonderful and food was even better! I got the ham and eggs at 1 pm in the afternoon and it was fabulous! They are doing Thanksgiving sides, I may have to check that out! Yay! I stopped by on a Sunday morning, looking for a new place to breakfast. The restaurant was full when I arrived but I was politely told it would be no more than a 10 minute wait for a table. Five minutes later I was seated. I ordered the Hangover Pancakes. The pancakes were out of this world. They were light, sweet and so very tasty. The bacon was crisp without being overcooked and the sausage patty was savory and well-cooked. I was a little underwhelmed by the scrambled eggs; they were somewhat bland and tasteless. But, on the whole, the breakfast was delightful and hit the spot. My order was taken quickly, and there was very little time between being seated, getting drinks and ordering and receiving food. The service was very efficient in that regard. I did have to leave my table to find someone to bring me butter for my pancakes (which were pleasingly hot) but other than that, the service was more than satisfactory. One of my buddies told us that a new brunch spot opened in Sugarland, so we decided to give it a go. We arrived around 1:30 so we knew we were coming a bit late. Eggs Benedict was crossed off the menu (figured it was cause we came later), so I decided on the toast breakfast. Eggs over easy please, cafe su da, and 2 sausage patties. I felt somewhat confidant that the food would be pretty good seeing as it wasn't busy and we arrived later on in the day. Eggs came out over done and the sausage patties were TINY. The patties were also burnt. Sad day. Let's hope that the cafe su da was up to snuff. Sadly not. Over iced, and being Vietnamese I kinda expected a decent flavor. Not the case at all. Awesome spot for brunch! They have your typical American brunch options like pancakes and waffles and of course the mimosa. But aside from that they have chilaquiles, banh mi sandwiches and burgers as well as even Korean burger and fries! I got the Korean burger and my wife got the Hangover pancake plate. Once we came in we were immediately seated and our drink order was also immediately taken. My wife just got water but I got Iced Vietnamese coffee which was really good! Right after our drinks were delivered to the table, we ordered our food. Unfortunately this is where the one star dropped for me as they took WAY too long to bring out our food. People that ordered right after us got their food first, we got our food at the same time a couple that got there 10-15 mins after we placed our order did. Aside from that, my wife was a bit disappointed with her food as the presentation was not nice but then again it may not need to be. She did mention her pancakes were extra fluffy and soft but the eggs and bacon were just ok. My burger was pretty good, I would say 7/10 but what took away was how long it took. Overall good place, a bit small, but have a good variety of stuff to offer and pretty tasty. Nothing out of this world but hits the spot if you are looking for something different. read more

I think like most reviews on here I agree that the pancakes and even fries are really good. I got the Bahn mi burger and another family member go the Korean burger. Pancakes were very soft and buttery, the fries were fresh and had a nice crisp to them. But the burgers lacked flavor, or rather lack anything that makes them really stand out. Nonetheless, the atmosphere is inviting and trendy, so I think it's best to stick to their breakfast items. read more

It just seems like they never figured out an efficient work flow, unfortunately. I've been here multiple times and the problem has always been the same. They're understaffed, yes, but I've been to other places that are understaffed and they still manage. Food here is always good, but you could probably wait 45 mins or more for your food. Also could probably wait 20 mins or more for someone to check on you, bring you your check, bring your card back after you paid, etc. I would suggest to come here when theyre not busy or if you have a lot of time on your hands. read more

Literally my first time here. It's too bad we didn't try this place out before COVID-19 but better late than never! The decor looks really cute, can't wait to dine in once this is all over. We just got one of their pancakes as we already had dinner plans so these were dessert. We got their creme brûlée pancakes and I must say, WOW. They weren't obscenely huge like a lot of places; not too sweet, fluffy..... and seriously some of the most flavorful pancakes we've ever had! They actually taste like BUTTERMILK (you know how you go to some breakfast places and claim their pancakes as "buttermilk" and have zero flavor? Yeah, these aren't those.) I can't wait to go back and try more items! They have such an extensive menu, something for everyone. Get out there everyone and support local businesses during this difficult time!
