I have to admit I was greatly disappointed with this place. At first it was fine as I walked in and was kindly greeted and seated. But it started when the waitress came to my take say hi and stare at me awkwardly. I would have assumed that following the "hi" would be a "how may I help you?" But to cut the awkwardness I just ordered two glass of water. The food arrived and it was alright. I ordered the appetizer sampler and the full rack of Original baby back ribs an entree. Sampler: Fried onion ring cake - it was cold. There wasn't any unique taste to it. Buffalo chicken - only 6 pieces of overcooked chicken nuggets tossed in buffalo sauce. The chicken was dry and was not appetizing at all. Artichoke dip - This was probably the best sampler out of the sampler. It wasn't unique but it'll pass. Entree: Baby back ribs - Maybe I'm quick to judge after having ribs at multiple places, but their ribs were dry and boring. There were a few tender pieces but very few, but never again am I giving this a try. Loaded Mash Potato - This mash would have tasted so much better if they didn't dump a handful of pepper. Every bite was salty and peppery. My biggest disappointment came when we were eating and an earthquake occurred. Although it wasn't a big quake where the sky was falling, but the floor was rattling and the light lamps where shaking aggressively. It would have been nice if the waiters came around to ask if we were okay. Beside standing by the bar to joke about it. Then comes the hilarious part. I needed an extra plate so I waved my hand at the nearest waiter. He stood there waving hi to me and walked to another table. I thought maybe he was busy and would come back after a few minutes but he didn't. -___-" Seriously?! I'm more than sure that this place can do so much better in service and food. Especially since it's sitting across the street from Disneyland. I most likely would not return and preferably try another place down the street. read more

Worst service and they surely assume you are a tourist that does not know better. If your colored the waiters will wait on the white people first. Expect 40 minute wait for your initial drinks like water. Then they will bring out the food before your beverages so you can choke. We ordered the half & half a half of filet mignon and half rack. First time they brought our food out with a fly in it. Second time they brought my ordered well done meats looking like they just killed it - all red inside. Stay away from this dump. This was our first time eating at Tony's. I was accompanied by my husband and our 5 year old. We originally had plans to go to Disneyland but decided to stop by and have dinner instead. First we got our drinks, I ordered a Blue Moon, let me just say it was the best Blue Moon I've EVER tasted. Better than the 12 pack i have at home lol, also better than when i order one at different restaurants. It had a very soft and fresh taste to it and the hubby thought exactly the same. For appetizers we has wings and loaded potato skins. The wings were cold when we got them. Not warm, COLD! It seemed to me like if they had just taken them out of the freezer and put them in the microwave for a minute. We complained to the waiter and had some fresh hot ones out like 10 minutes later. Our loaded potato skins were BOMB! I actually tasted the potato for once! There was a lot of cheese on them which made us cheese lovers in love even more lol. The food we ordered was great. Our son devoured his food as well. The plate had a lot of food, enough for us 3 to share and for the hubby to take home for a midnight snack haha lol jk. sorry babe :P Overall, we enjoyed it here. Came here to "reward" myself and my husband after our first 1/2 marathon at Disneyland and decided to have a carb load up meal. We ordered the steak and wild mushroom flatbread as starters and was not too impressed. I ordered the shrimp scampi pasta and devoured it because I was starving, but again not impressed with the flavor of the pasta. Surprisingly, we came back in the evening that same day because Tim's Uncle and cousin wanted to eat there. So in the evening I had the shrimp and salmon piccata. Not something I would recommend since the shrimp was a bit too overcooked for me and salmon was dry. Service was not up to par. Despite many emply tables, we had to wait 30mins during lunch to be seated because they were short staffed. Then we asked, can we sit at the bar and wait (since we could use a beer after the run)? And the hostess said no because the bar tender is also a server so he won't be able to get us our beers to start with. Service needless to say was slow. I do feel bad for them that they're working so hard, but doesn't mean I'll give a better review for appreciating their work. The wife and I just finished a nice little drive around the town and decided that Tony Roma's would be a nice place to dine. Once inside the restaurant, we found out the wait time despite it being Christmas Day. It was about 10mins but we actually waited less than five! Armando quickly set some bread out for us and Selene was our waitress. She provided outstanding service from start to finish. Attentive to our needs. We were feeling a bit dangerous, so we ordered a couple of piña coladas. Gave me a few brain freezes. For dinner, we ordered the original baby back ribs and filet medallions & ribs combo. My baby tore them ribs up with her bacon mac&cheese, as I did with my meal. The TR's Original BBQ sauce was the signature on the ribs. I felt as though the original BBQ taste was hidden from the taste buds. I tasted the sweet, tangy of the sauce with a dab of mustard hence their own sauce. Tasteless and overpriced ribs!!! I was there on Feb. 17th with my family and my sister and I ordered the beef ribs. The ribs tasted old, not fresh at all, with very little flavor. The bbq sauce on it was also not good. The baked potato was hard and also did not taste fresh. My husband ordered baby back ribs and same story. Tasteless, old tasting, no flavor, and not good. I'm not sure what happened those other nights that people are complaining about, but whatever happened, they must've fixed it. We came in for dinner after a day at Disneyland, and it was great! Service was excellent. It was pretty busy, but our server was on top of it, checking in on us throughout the meal. My husband ordered a full rack of beef ribs, and loved it. They knew what they were doing when they gave our party of eighteen our own room! There is plenty of space at this location and is a great place to stop after Disneyland. This place is located near Disneyland so I thought it was going to be good but I was wrong. My husband and I used to frequent Tony Roma's about 10 years ago when we lived in Ohio. Service was always great, menu was much bigger, food was always hot but it seems very different. It is a big disappointment for us now. Parking at this location is a joke since it is shared with a motel. We ended up parking in the lot next door at Denny's. I go inside to be seated and the hostess wasn't the nicest person nor was she the friendliest either. The inside of this restaurant smelled like a dirty dish rag and did not look all that presentable with the floor being dirty. The restaurant did not seem busy to me at all which was odd for prime time dinner time. There are plenty of televisions if you like watching while you eat. Our server seemed like he wanted us to order right away but we needed a few minutes to look over the menu so we ordered drinks first. I ordered a specific beer on tap which is the reason I came in to this location and our waiter told me they no longer carry that. I wish they would take it off the menu then! My husband and I ended up with 2 iced teas for drinks. We ordered an appetizer and then our meals in which we both got a full rack of ribs each. He ordered St. Louis and I ordered Baby Back Ribs with mashed potatoes, veggies, and ranch beans. Our dishes came out luke warm at best and the ribs were not meaty at all, mostly bone and they were not fall off the bone either with a lack of sauce. The wait for food with them not being crowded as extreme.i would hate to see how long I have to wait for food if they were packed. Our server was okay just not the best at refilling the drinks or remembering the items asked for. My husband had a steak with sweet potato fries and rice and I had the blackened salmon with rice and broccoli. The meat was beyond dry and more like shoe leather. I have never had a piece of fish so dry. Both the rice and fries were cold. We never received refills on our drinks. The food and service were sub average and we will not be back. The asparagus was soft, NOT soggy. And the mashed potatoes were very creamy and delicious. The Alfredo Florentine was good according to my GF. The Ribs where okay but barely had any bbq sauce on them. The fries where soggy and coleslaw was too sweet. The onion appetizer was way too big and the sauce is weird. Order a half order, with a side of ranch or blue cheese. They serve bread when you sit down. Be sure to eat it before it cools or they will turn into rocks. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. Good size bar with TVs, but there will be loud kids around. read more

I ordered the ultimate grill power combo with a side of corn on the cob and mashed potatoes; comes with ribs, steak, and shrimp. The ribs, shrimp, and sides were excellent; not dry or over cooked and filled with tasty sauces. However, the steak (medium) was dry, fatty, and tough. I do recommend this dish, but maybe get medium rare for the steak or simply order a rack of their famous ribs. read more

Well...,this train wreck has been going downhill for a while now. Service was slower than ever if that was ever possible. The last time we came here, was informative since they took more items from the menu that I loved to eat here. This time the onion loaf was greasier than ever and the ribeye steak came out medium, not med rare as asked and it was like chewing leather. The flavors were below average. But I give them a star for not giving me a bad baked potato. Should have had the ribs but the last time I had them and they were over cooked and chewed like leather... or what I imagine leather to chew like. This was the worst dinner my husband and I have had in a very long time. We spent the day at Disneyland and decided to get a jump start on an early dinner New Years Eve. This Restaurant was walking distance to our Hotel and we had always had great food in other Tony Roma's. We walked in and it was NOT busy at 5:30pm. We ordered an onion loaf for an appetizer, the Tony Roma famous ribs and a rib eye. Ribs:- tasted like they had been in the freezer way too long. No meat, nor taste on them.. very disappointed. It was not expected. Rib eye- stringy, no taste- the texture was strange .. lacking flavor and had a pungent aroma. - hard to describe. Also felt it had been in the freezer too long. We did not complain, but also left fairly early as to "Get out of there ". Bartender was very nice as he was our waiter as well. Will NOT go there again!
