Order our food which came out pretty quick which means the food is pre ready & sitting under heat lamps. Can you say dried out...gross and extra super salty!! Not sure what all the concerns are about after reading the past ratings. Went to eat dinner before a Ducks hockey game and were treated to a delicious meal by a very kind and attentive staff. Our server, Victor, was as pleasant as they come and he made our dining experience exceptional . My wife has a gluten allergy and all of the menu choices that could be prepared were explained throroughly. She had the BBQ chicken salad and said it was one of the best salads she ever had. I went with their signature baby back ribs, and they didn't dissappoint - fall off the bone tender! Also a great bar with a wide selection of tap beer choices. We will definitely be back. If you're hungry for ribs don't waste your time or money. They lack the smoke and bark you would expect from smoking or the wood flavor you would expect from cooking over charcoal. If I didn't know better I'd say they cook them covered and in the oven. I had the beef short ribs. They were capital T tender and the veggies were not over cooked. The mashed potatoes were a bit dry so I left half of them on the plate. The wife had the Mojo Chicken. The chicken was a bit tough and lacked of flavor. If they had more of the chutney on top it would have compensated for the dry texture. Lily was a great server and keep our drinks full and brought our food promptly. Our first meal in Anaheim, it's pretty good! They recommended the shrimp pasta and it's indeed very yummy. The ribs however was too lean. The sauce and taste are nice though. They have enough space for group party. I saw people having birthday there and I love the atmosphere! read more

Since this is the only location around OC that's still open, I'm forced to come here for when I'm craving ribs with Carolina Honey. They're ribs are firm and juicy. Ask for Carolina Honey sauce. It makes the experience so much better. Don't eat the pasta or the fish. It's not all that great. Appetizers here are delicious too. They have they're famous onion loaf with this sauce, so good! The parking just sucks because it's so tiny and you have to share it with the hotel parking, but it's next to Disneyland so when you stuff yourself silly, you can go walk around Downtown Disney. read more

REALLY close to Disneyland. I don't think many locals go here. :) It's kinda loud and there are a lot of families. So please like the kiddos if you go there! Also, it's pretty slow service. First, waited for our server she appeared and then took our drink order and then my dad orders two things of onion rings and she goes you want full we said yes. My review might be a bit biased because well, my dad works here. I've never had to wait to be seated. And of course, I always ask to be seated with my dad. He's worked here for years and knows the menu very well. My boyfriend knew he wanted ribs but with so much selection, ended up asking my dad for his knowledgeable suggestions. I got chicken with I think it was asparagus and cheese sauce and a side of loaded mash potatoes and macaroni and cheese. Of course the food was delicious and the service was great. Thank you Consuelo, Rudy and manager Maria. We were all exhausted after three days at Disneyland and didn't want to veer off too far from our hotel. I mentioned Tony Roma's for dinner, thinking that it would just be "ok," you know, since it's a chain and it's in front of Disneyland. First of all, our server Consuelo greeted us warmly and was so very sweet. Our bartender Rudy was a pro and made our drinks perfectly to order. We felt so accommodated the entire time. The food came to us perfectly fresh and warm. My steak and ribs were delicious. Our drinks were kept filled. The place had a nice, friendly ambiance. But my favorite part was the lovely service. We came in expecting not the best food or service, just because it's in front of Disneyland. I figured it wouldn't be too good because it's a touristy area. My family and I came to Disneyland for the weekend and Tony Roma's was part of our agenda since we had such a great experience our last visit(in 2012). We came in on a Thursday night for appetizers and a couple drinks, food was okay, I think the best part was the dinner rolls, the service was fine. My mom checked in on foursquare which gave us an offer of a certain percentage(either 10-20%) taken off the bill, when she let our waiter know he said it was an email that the manager has to take care of,ummm okay?...so the bill came and the percentage wasn't taken off so we reminded him and he apologized and said no worries, we could see him take it to whoever was in charge and it looked as though they pulled out their own phone to check in and see the offer, the percentage was taken off I just find it weird that staff is not educated of certain offers. Next day we came in around early afternoon to each have a drink, we sit at the bar and there's no bartender....I think almost 10 minutes passed before someone showed up. Bartender had no personality, he might've been not having a good day and it seemed as though he was waiting tables too, but a bartender should always be behind the bar...he's probably being overworked. I understand they are on a sugar high from Disney but they should seat them in a corner booth of some sort. I like the combo plates where you can have the best of both worlds. Had a business dinner hear yesterday. I really wasn't too impressed. I had a steak which really wasn't much better than something you'd get at any restaurant. I know this place specializes in ribs but you'd think a steak would be closely related and just as good. It must be the location. We went here for dinner after visiting Disneyland. I couldn't believe the place was still opened. We had to ask for the hostesses attention for us to be seated. The restaurant was bare and very dark. After sitting down I could tell the seats were stained and dirty and felt disgusted. A dish with rolls arrived as an appetizer. The rolls were hard as a rock (no joke)my kids didn't even want to eat them, and they were very dry and difficult to pull apart. After looking at the menu and noticing that it needed to be sanitized... and seeing that everything was over priced and not appetizing at all. We decided to leave asap. Basically walked right in and we're seated! And of course because this place is across from Disneyland the prices are a little higher. But I must say I was not impressed with this restaurant at all. We were served sourdough bread with butter after we ordered. I ordered the Pulled Pork sandwich with a baked potato instead of fries. The Pork was okay but there were quite a few pieces of pure fat, I didn't like the bbq sauce they poorer over my sandwich either, however I must say the baked potato was very good! My mom ordered a sandwich that had bacon on it and she said it tasted strange, there was some flavor to it that she couldn't comprehend (no, it wasn't applewood smoked bacon). I personally won't be back anytime soon, however I bet there are probably other items on the menu that may change my mind. read more

This Tony Roma's is pretty darn good. They have check-in deals on social media and the service was amazingly fast. It is in a grungy area near Disneyland, but don't let that scare you off. The Onion Loaf may kill you, but you'll die happy. Our go to move here is to split a full rack and order half a loaf. If you are still hungry, you've got issues. Parking is a little sketchy and the location sucks...but it is legit! read more

I have always appreciated the friendly and professional servers as well. The management is great as well. I came here around 8:30PM for dinner and was surprised how empty it was when I came in because how close it is to Disneyland. There were a lot of workers standing around talking since it was pretty empty. The parking was packed though and thank goodness for valet parking! Just remember to get your ticket validated from the servers/hosts. I used to have Tony Roma's near my home and loved it. Sadly, after a few years, the closest one is the one in Anaheim. My family and I decided to come back to try their "famous" ribs. We ordered a full rack of ribs + half rack with 2 Medallion steaks. We ordered our steaks medium rare and they came out waaaaay to rare then we expected. The ribs were tender and the sauce was tasty but nothing too spectacular. The sides that we ordered were OK.. Our broccoli was slightly overcooked and the corn and mashed potatoes were MEH. There were a lot of workers standing around. Our waitress was very attentive and nice but the rest of the staff was mediocre and nothing worth noting. Had to drive a bit to try out these ribs. They didn't live up to what I expected. Surprise, this place was good. I have been to several Tony's and have not been impressed. The food was very good. I had the chicken and it was cooked perfectly. My friend had the Salmon and it was also cooked perfectly. We came with a group of five and the service fell a little short. My friend and I were in Disneyland for the Tinkerbell Half Marathon and we KNEW Tony Roma's had to be our post-run feast. The place has been remodeled from our last visit and it looks SO GOOD now. The interior had been looking pretty sad, but it's quite incredible now. Very classy and nice. The entire ambiance is changed for the better. We were one of only a couple tables in the restaurant at lunchtime. Our waitress was super friendly and our food came out quickly and was SO GOOD. You can't go wrong with the Baby Backs in Original sauce - my absolute favorite. The fries and beans that I ordered as sides were equally delicious. I really miss having Tony Roma's in Washington, so getting to eat their ribs while on vacation is an extra treat. read more

My family and I came here for dinner and loved every bite. It was my sister with her two teenage daughters, plus myself and my fiance. We are huge fans of BBQ joints and this place is really special. We started with an onion loaf, phenomenal. I had the medalion rib plate, while the rest of the group tried the BBQ Chicken and panani Chicken. Our server Ben was absolutly geniune and hospitable, which hard to find now day. He made our night a pleasure for my entire family. Highly recommend this spot and will come back. The place looks right. I'll give them that. Even the name "Tony Roma's" evokes a masculine, meaty joint where you'll have a nice cocktail and a slab of Ribs, maybe a steak, and then walk whatever beauty is on your arm back to your place for further adventure and intrigue. But even with the Magic Kingdom just across the street, this ain't Disneyland, Motherfucker... We had a party of 14 which they wedged into a space for 10, maybe. It took forever to get someone over to take a drink order. And then another age to actually get those drinks to the table. On the advice of a pal, I ordered "Ribs and Filet Medallions" with the addition of a Side Wedge Salad. . A pretty standard order, nothing slippery or complex. After another interminable wait, my salad showed. It was a huge plate, obviously a main course salad. Only a few at the table ordered soup/salad beyond their entrees. I felt like a glutton. I asked the waiter "THIS is the side salad?" He assured me it was. I shared the salad with FIVE people at the table, and we each had enough. I saw some other salads come out, and they were of common size. this was a cock-up. And the salad was insipid. poorly made, and not appetizing at all. It had all the ingredients, but the bacon was rock-hard. there was little blue cheese, and the dressings were tasteless. And due to the sitting arrangements, I had to sit about 2 feet away from the table and fly my food in. I was able to remember what I et, by looking at my shirt... The Ribs were what my old mucker, the late, great Blues Giant and Painter "Bumble Bee" Bob Novak called "Soup Ribs". Meaning the Ribs are boiled before either going in a smoker or on the grill. It's supposed to get rid of the fat, and make the ribs fall off the bone. What it does is wash away the Porky goodness. Never Good. The sauce they applied tasted like supermarket grade. And even though they apparently went through the boil, the ribs were fatty and gross. And completely bereft of flavor. Ug. There were 3 "Medallions" of Beef. I ordered the steak "Rare". The "Medallions" were of indefinite shape, and although I was pretty sure these morsels were from a Beef Tenderloin, I think they were from the "Chain" and/or the "Wing" of the Tenderloin. There was a prominent fat presence as well in these small pieces. No seasoning apparent in the prep of the steak. And it was as rare as rare could get, without being considered "Bleu". Normally this is ok with me, but this was just unappetizing. Because of the situation surrounding the dinner, and my dining companions, I thought twice about complaining. I pumped as much of this crap down as I could as to not arouse attention. But it was a horrible feed. I didn't have to pay. My husband and i went at the Anaheim location last night. The service was okay. But the food was not good at all. I, myself ordered top sirloin steak (medium rare), the steak came out raw and i had to asked them TWICE to re-cooked it. It came out very dry and chewy in the end but decided to shrug it off and leave as we were still headed to an event after. My husband got the bbq chicken cobb salad, it was okay. Ok, so the ribs here are pretty much like any other rack from a chain restaurant. I ordered St. Louis Ribs, and they were just brushed with sauce and grilled. I'm guessing the ribs were boiled first or something to tenderize them, but the meat didn't have any smokiness. I didn't think the sides were that great either. The broccoli was just plain steamed, and the cole slaw was pretty bland and mostly just mayonnaise with no acidity. I'm no cole slaw connoisseur, either. This is coming from someone who thinks KFC cole slaw is the best cole slaw ever. Anaheim Tony Roma's isn't the worst thing in the world If you know what to expect. Pretty consistent I guess...... Like an applebees, they are pretty consistent with their delivery. The food was as expected. The service was good, the prices, always just slightly higher than I would like them to be. We were there as a party of 7 and for some reason, they stuck us right next to another party with kids and such too... when the whole rest of the restaurant was open... maybe it had to do with where seating was in big blocks. I've read a fair few of the review and have to say our experience was superb. I believe most negative reviews are from competing restaurants or one off issues. We entered the restaurant and requested "to go" and a beer at the bar. The hostess guided us to the bar with menus and returned to take our order. Beers were well described, three racks of ribs and six sides arrived before we finished our beers. Bar tender was curious and allowed sampling of four wines so we could choose a few bottles to bring back to Mommy who was getting the kids ready for bed. We brought back ribs, wine and sides, everything was very good. Three different ribs (baby back, St. Louis and beef ribs) liked the pork ribs the best, but all juicy and up to my high rib standards. Not the same as your own pit at home, but definitely were passable when looking for ribs near Disneyland! Hater, Hate. Everyone else enjoy some decent ribs. read more

And Ben, our waiter was great!! He was very quick, efficient and friendly! We had the Chicken pasta dish, absolutely great tasting!
