This place is quite expensive for an overall just average meal. The restaurant looks clean, quite large and has games for kids to play. Bizarre that they don't have a kids menu. The service is decent. I would say I'd eat here on a regular basis if they either brought the prices down to match the quality of food, or brought the quality of food up to warrant the high prices. I mean, they could at least include soup or salad with the entrees; that's a start. Update: something we ate gave us stomach issues the day after. Our daughter seemed fine, but mommy and I both have been frequenting the toilet and I have felt slightly nauseous all day. We shared the potato skins, chips and salsa and a bit of lasagna, so it could have been any one of those. We came here for my future father in laws birthday. There is tons of space here if you want to have a party. It is great for groups! There is a bar too. Just in case you are hosting a children's party. You can have an adult party on the other side. Anyways, the Tony's combo was amazing. I loved it. So much meat and veggies on here. This place was great for us to call in and pick up. We have had only one incident where they forgot our Cesar salad. Did I want that Cesar salad? Yes. Did I want to drive back for it? No. Didn't put it against them. Then this incident happens tonight. I was so excited for my pastrami sandwich bc they always hook it up. Have had zero complaints. So meaty, melted cheese, mustard, pickles and all that grease. I'm here for it. Took a little bite on the side and then had some fries. As I'm swallowing the fries, I look at my sandwich and there's A PIECE OF HAIR. I was shocked. I didn't know what to do with it and just held it. My excitement gone. Finally laid it on a cutting board and opened it up to see how far the hair went and oh yeah, it's nicely tangled in it. Called the restaurant and she was apologetic. She gave me two options, #1 I would get a discount for the next time I ordered or #2 I can bring it back and they would make me a new one. I went with the second option bc a discount on my next order wasn't going to cut it. Everyone knows that. Get there and put my order on the counter since the lady is on the phone. She's done and starts to talk when the lady I spotted to the left comes up and asks if she can help with anything. They're just looking at me like I'm the problem. Lady behind the counter goes your sandwich is ready, pulls it out, opens it and tells me she wasn't sure if I wanted mustard and pickles so they put it on the side since my son ordered the same thing but with no mustard and pickles. Thought that was nice until I noticed it's inside the box with the sandwich, no fries. Now, one would think that they would be piling up the box with extra fries, making it the best damn sandwich it can be. Maybe throw in a free dessert. At least I would and I know some other people would. Not at Tony's my guy. She then asked if there was anything else and you know what I don't have the energy. Still recovering from surgery and wanted something unhealthy for the first time. They gave off this vibe like I was an inconvenience. No, it's inconvenient that I had to go down there for their mistake. Get home and open it up. Not surprised that it's a dinky a-- sandwich. Combed through it with a fork. We live near to Tony's Firehouse and often go there for pizza and other things off of their menu. Although the pizza is more expensive than others in the area we still buy it because it's a good pizza. However, that being said...I've never had an issue with their "we don't deliver" policy. Because we live within a couple of miles and it's no problem to drive down and pick it up. But today when I asked for the little packets of chili flakes and grated cheese, the people at the counter informed me that the owners/management (whoever) wasn't going to buy it any more. I mean, really? Is Tony's saving so much money by not giving out a couple of packets of cheese and chili flakes? come on...perhaps I'll just sit at home, save the gas, and order from Rusty's. Multiple factors went into my last visit being a mistake. Called to make reservations for a birthday at lunchand said it was doable, so I immediately went down to leave a deposit for a time slot around lunch. Right after leaving, received a call saying that the time was already booked and the next time available was closer to dinner. No problem, could be an honest mistake. At dinner with a group of 10+, we had multiple pizzas ordered for everyone, but 2 people who could not eat pizza for dieting reasons wanted to order something else. 1 person got their food fine and the other was told they couldn't order anything else due to being a big group. Weird rule to have... Day after, we received a call that my wife's wallet was found. Glad they called, but on the way wondered why the wallet was found, but not the purse that it was in. The purse had an AirTag, and after checking we realized it was still there at the restaurant. We got to the front counter to ask for the wallet which they had ready to go. We asked about the purse and we're told that they didn't have anything. After mentioning the AirTag, the employee said "Oh", reached at the very bottom shelf behind the counter and pulled out a brown takeout bag with her purse inside, and walked away into the back room without saying anything. Inexcusable. We used to enjoy coming here when they first opened, but the service has gone downhill and suspicious acts have us no longer coming back. read more

I ordered a pizza for pickup. I asked for cheese and red peppers. They said they were out. But I saw the shakers on the table. I asked if I could use those and they said it's not allowed. Just the tone she said it in had me annoyed. I told her I didn't want the pizza then. Someone came up front with the shakers to let me use them and I said it's ridiculous to not let me use them. We ate at this establishment on Friday and it was the worst service I ever seen in my life the waitresses never check up on you. You sit there, thirsty waiting on a refill on a water as they stay in the back and don't do nothing then to get mediocre food that is overpriced And very little quantity we ordered the club sandwich with fries $17.99 not worth it barely had any french fries on it. We ordered a Ortega burger which was the size of a McDonald's cheeseburger and charge 1999 for it not worth the money would never recommend it, we also had the fried green beans that are $10.50 for maybe a little kid size meal not worth it. When they first opened, I had a bad experience but I think that was due to the newness of the place and growing pains. Since then, it is much improved. The pizza here is always good. I have also ordered wings and salads. All are standard pizza place fare and all are pretty good. Their gluten free pizza is entirely too expensive. I won't order it again, and honestly, it wasn't great anyway. They have a great bar and selection of beers. Beer and pizza go together like peas and carrots. Tony's has always been great then a couple of months ago they started to change. I called them last Monday Nov. 27 and then again on Nov. 30 as they had told me they didn't take reservations on the phone. So I said both time we are having a family reunion on Sat. Nov. 2 and if Sunday if I walk in here with 20 people will you seat us both times they said yes. Well this morning we walked in they said 2 tables and 2 checks. Then the hostess came over an said they couldn't serve us as to large of a group. Then someone said will what if we all walked in separate would you seat us she said yes well whats the difference. Tasty food. I have loved their pizza before but onetime I had a Caesar Salad with steak strips and I was hooked! Recently my brother had the Shrimp and Chips with coleslaw and felt satisfied. I want to warn at this moment they have indoor dining (seems early) but if you are anywhere near Hart Park or CALM Zoo and want something filling to eat outdoors. Tony's refuses to serve large parties unless you sit on the pizza side. We came in and did not want pizza. The hostess refused to serve us and said it was policy. They stated that children are not allowed in big parties to sit on the food side. The staff was unable to accommodate our party even though there were plenty of tables and staff available. I believe their staff is not trained to handle large parties and are incompetent. We play at a near by ball park and Tony's is one of the only options to eat at.
