Anytime you put pepperonis that turn into little bowls on a pizza you're going to get fantastic results! The pepperoni and sausage pizza received rock solid scores from the group. The controversy from the group started when we tried the jalapeño popper pizza. The other two guys gave it scores through the roof. However, jalapeño poppers are something that are very near and dear to my heart. This particular pizza I felt could have been made a lot better than it was. Bigger bacon components paired with more spice and larger jalapeño slices would have been my suggestion. read more

Got takeout tonight. We got the antipasto salad and it was decent but not good enough to risk our lives going to a place that doesn't wear masks and has absolutely no social distancing. Currently living with my 75 year old father and 65 year old mother, even myself at 30 has to take this seriously so I don't get sick and bring it home to them. I totally understand they need to open back up, but I wish they wouldn't just pretend we're not living in a global pandemic and take some safety measures to help those of us choosing to do takeout there. You still have to go inside with a crowd or people to get your meal. I'd be down to eat here when the pandemic is over, but definitely can't go again for now. read more

My wife ordered a pizza from this place tonight and it had to be one of the worst pizza's I have ever had. Simple pepperoni, cheese and half mushroom. To start, the sauce had absolutely no flavor. It tasted like tomato sauce out of a can. Blobs of cheese, no consistency and overkill of pepperoni and it looked like the chef just opened a can of mushrooms and dumped it on half of the pizza. I wish I would have taken a photo. Nothing I would ever have served if I owned a pizza place. Also, the dough was soaked in juices. I could ring it out like a sponge. Everything I ate was really good. I tried the pizza which was light and crispy full of flavor. I also tried the wings which were ok just because they were baked. The blue cheese like everything else they make in in house was really good. The Buffalo chicken Hummus was really good which surprised me. Just didn't seem like it was going to be good. Full disclosure: a buddy and I came here on a Friday afternoon for drinks only so I can't speak to their food. If you are a fruit fly, this is your place! When we walked up to the bar, about 25 fruit flies were circling the area we were sitting. I've watched enough Bar Rescue to know that means the cleanliness is not up to par. It's disappointing because this is a Buffalo Bills bar and I'm a huge fan. But the fruit flies would have me worried about coming back for food. read more

I've had to update my previous 4-5 star review down to a 3 star review. Have been coming here since it originally opened in 2014 when it was Tony Sacco's Coal Oven Pizza before the new ownership. we typically come on Tuesday nights for their half off pizza on dine in. This has always been a great deal and usually brings in lots of older folks for a nice pie and families that can eat wth 5-6 people for less than $75 typically based on drinks, etc. Last year after the minimum wage went up the prices jumped over $2-3 per pie. Ok, understanding the system - when costs go up, then costs typically get passed onto the consumer since the owner is typically not looking to lower profits...but that's not the debate here. Unfortunately, along with the price increase the ownership also started to start charging every table with an "order Fee" of $2 or more (Not sure how the amount is calculated) and also started charging for ranch and marinara on the side of like $.50 per tablespoon. Not a fan gotta be honest. Pizza quality has not changed, but along with these charges we've also noticed now that the take away boxes changed to a very flimsy paper thin box....and the "order charge" is still being charged. Only in Europe have I ever seen an "Order" charge which their is typically a setting charge for eating there -- it is ver popular in Europe (especially italy and spain) however this is not a welcome concept IMO and with the price increases and continuing misc fees we are looking for more places to go for pizza. read more

One of my favorite pizza places. So fresh and delicious, I crave their food often! I love their hummus, artichoke dip, and sausage and peppers! My favorite pizza is the Greek and the Bianco. I used to love coming here, but yesterday their service just seemed to have gone downhill. Our food took forever to come out. We ordered a pepperoni pizza with half jalapeños and when it arrived it could have practically been just a cheese pizza. There was hardly any pepperoni on it and it felt like it was just thrown in the microwave as it was pretty soggy. The wine glasses were also very dirty. Amazing place. So I'm a Buffalo bills fan and I went for the game. And the food is really good. But the service is not great it took 30 min for a beer! My wife and I came here for dinner, and I have to say that it was an overall enjoyable experience. We sat at the bar, and thankfully it wasn't too busy. Ricky was our bartender for the evening. Being the first time here, I wasn't sure how big the pizza was but we went for the large Capo. We were not disappointed! The crust was just thick enough but still crunchy. We also had the wings and they were some of the most delicious wings I've had in a long time! To end the night, we had the canoli for dessert. The recent negative reviews really surprise me because we have yet to have a bad experience. Service for dining in and carry out has always been friendly... never had a bad pizza. We have added ToScany's to our normal rotation for take out, which is really saying something because we have been stuck in a "take out rut" for a while. If I had written my review when we first dined at this restaurant I would have given them 5 stars. It has gone down hill since then. The busier they got, the lack of taste went into their pizzas! Even the service went down hill. My favorite pizza on their menu was Capo. I'm not sure if they changed their sausage vendor but it is now disgusting. We were regular customers for years when we moved to the neighborhood eight years ago, but both the service and food had declined so we stopped going. Had high hopes that things had changed when we saw the "Under New Management" sign, and decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, the service was even worse when we stopped by for dinner on 11/12/2024 at about 5:30pm. We were told that it would be about ten minutes before we (party of two) would be seated even though there were many open tables. Fair enough, they probably didn't have enough wait staff for all of the tables and we were happy to wait. We immediately knew things weren't headed in a positive direction when, about five minutes later, a family of four arrived and were seated immediately. We eventually were seated after about fifteen minutes so we were hopeful that things were going to turn around. After being seated we waited and waited for someone to at least take our drink order, but that never happened. After about ten minutes waiting at our table, another couple was seated nearby, and they were attended to by a waiter within two minutes. At that point, we had had enough and got up and left. Can't speak to the quality of the food or drink as we never got that far. The host/to-go staff at the front seemed very unorganized and we never did see any sign of the "New Management". We will not be back even though we live within two miles and prefer to support local businesses. read more

We have visited twice now. Time to write the review! The first visit we ordered pizza. It was fine. Nothing spectacular, but it was good. I'd probably give it 3 stars. This visit was for lunch. We ordered (and split) the sausage and peppers appetizer, and the chicken Parmesan entree. The sausage was good, but the peppers didn't taste fresh. In fact, they tasted "old". My wife, who is a serious veggie eater, wouldn't eat them. I had some but covered the taste with marinara. The chicken was moist but not flavorful. So they cooked it properly, but didn't season it noticeably. The pasta was overcooked a bit and only warm. It should have been hot (if it were fresh) and "al dente". We both agreed that it seems likely the pasta had been sitting around a while, so it had continued cooking from residual heat becoming softer, and of course was becoming cooler as it sat. Service was good, and the marinara sauce was tasty. Those were probably the high-points of this latest visit. There are too many other options out there to settle for this quality level.
