I stop at Tous to get reasonably priced Great Fresh French pastries. They are in the Int'l Dist. Not Sodo as listed. Their shop is above the Chinatown Station, across from Uwajimaya. I only get pastries. But they have sandwiches, Espressp and Tea too. They have 3 tables inside their A/C space. But outside there are benches and places on the rock to sit. If you are taking the Flixbus, out of town, stop here to get breakfast or a snack. Going to a Game, stop here first. read more

3/3/2025- we stumbled upon this place after getting off the train at the Chinatown station. The smell of fresh pastries is what drew us in. It's a small cafe with about 4 tables inside. They have their breads and savory pastries on the left side along the wall and their sweets in the middle display case. They have a variety of espresso drinks and seasonal flavors. We got the honey lavender latte hot. It was just ok. The lavender and honey was subtle but so was the espresso. I wish the espresso was stronger. As for the pastries we got, we enjoyed every single one! The hot dog bun, garlic bomb, hazelnut blueberry muffin & matcha loaf. The location is convenient to the trains and buses and the store itself was clean. I do wish there was a restroom inside or nearby. Customer service was friendly and the workers all had a smile and greeted everyone. read more

I ordered th cappuccino and the breakfast bacon croissant sandwich. Delicious. The croissant is flaky, the cheese is cheesy, and egg cooked just right. Most importantly, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. read more

Was happy to try this location after having a good experience with a location in San Diego for a family party cake that was bought. Unfortunately things got off to a bad start as the employee was not friendly or very helpful. Didn't seem like he wanted to be there. I picked out a couple of pastries and a macaron which were all good but when it came to choosing a cake, the employee was not helpful or knowledgeable. I just chose one of the ones that looks aesthetically pleasing and left without a thank you. Now when it came to eating the cake, it was terrible! So bland and no trace of fresh fruit. It was so embarrassing for my partner's birthday party where it was shared by friends. Definitely won't be returning. read more

Crazy how I stumbled upon this place out of curiosity. While transitioning from the link to the sounder, I saw a sign advertising a butter pecan latte, cold or hot. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but I like pecan, so it was a must that I try. What I discovered once I entered this establishment was a masterclass display of culinary art. The cakes and pastries looked amazing. I started thinking that I wished I had my birthday cake crafted here had I known about them. They sell the ideal size for either personal or larger parties. [Disclaimer: I don't have a sweet tooth or try any of the desserts here.] Many of their products are very pricey. They don't just have desserts; they have other snacks like chips, beverages such as tea (hot or cold), and hot chocolate. As of right now, I routinely pick up a hot chocolate in the mornings on my way to school and a hot butter pecan latte on my way home. If you're ever on King St. near Union Station, stop by and give them a try. read more

Food is good but on the pricier side Service is usually good or excellent but today I went in to get my usual box of treat for teacher appreciation week and the staff told me they don't tie a bow to the macaron box even though the one they have on display clearly has bows attached. The staff then passed the job onto her coworker and left. The facility didn't appear to give their staff proper scissors or training for the job because the ribbons looked chopped up instead of a clean cut and poorly tied. Disappointed and will unlikely return to this location after today's lack of service read more

the food and drink is good i work around the area and i come pretty often and it seems like the work at the night shift just doesn't seem to look like she wants work and im not the type of person to complain about anything. I usually just don't say anything and leave the store, but it kind of happened multiple times that I've noticed it now. she would give me half of my drinks and i got hot chocolate it's what i always get yesterday it was cold so it was like cold chocolate i guess and today she just gave me hot chocolate but it tasted a lot like water and when. but not all the works are like this when i come in the early evening there pretty nice and all its just the one stuff member read more

I went to order two slices of sweet potato cake for a special event. When I got home, one of the slices had mold on it. The other slice looked ok, so we started eating it. However, we noticed that there was another piece of mold on the bottom of the cake slice we were eating. I was quite upset, and my family was as well as we were really looking forward to sharing and enjoying the cake together. I would've never expected such a big franchise such as Tous Les Jours to ever find mold on their products. This was very disappointing. I will not be coming back to this location. read more

It's my first time to the bakery, so I'm not familiar with how they wrap up the baked goods. I agreed to a paper bag with the impression all of the items I picked out was going into the one bag. The cashier ended up putting each item into individual bags. So I imposed to decline the bag. She started to get upset with me. It may have been my bad, between bagging I asked for a strawberry latte. She could have told me then "I'm still counting your bread", but proceeded to add it to my order and finished packing. I dropped by without planning to, and ended up staying longer than I thought. The space was clean and smelled like fresh bakes, which pulled me in. The cakes weren't fancy, but the quality was there moist, gentle sweetness, and satisfying without being heavy. It feels like a hidden little comfort spot. Cute shop, I liked my mango cake slice, very light and not too sweet. Price was 6.95 comes in a nice box to carry. Better than grocery store cake slice. The sponge could be a bit more moist and flavorful but I wouldn't say it's dry. The whipped cream type frosting is good. The person at the counter was friendly. Not crowded. Decided to grab a snack on the way to lumen stadium. The store had a nice vibe, however the selection was a bit slim (~50% of shelves were empty). We went at 1pm on a Saturday. The items they did have were all wrapped which was nice and but no trays to hold the breads. We picked: - cream cheese bread: not sweet, not salty. It was just a thin amount of cream cheese in a plain bread. Seems like it was stale. A little pricey for $3.50 - garlic twist: a sweet cheesy garlic-y bread that had a nice crisp from the cheese curtain and soft fluffy bread. Better if it was warm. A bit small for $5, but it was the best bread we got. - melon bread: had a nice subtle melon taste. I was expecting the crust of the bread to be a little more crunchy. But it was more stale tasting. Also $3.50 Maybe we just got unlucky. But I don't think I'll be coming back. It's pricier than 85 degrees, yet has comparable quality. Limited selection. And stale bread. read more

I've been to the Tous Les Jours at the Bellevue location and now this location, at the edge of International District (ID). None of my visits have been particularly memorable, never "that's so good I want to go back and have it again soon". It's not bad, just not outstanding. Average, maybe? The location of this bakery is on 5th, at the west edge of ID. For many folks that eat at the ID and then go to a game, this location is pretty good to grab a snack and enter T-Mobile Stadium, which allows outside food. Given it's later in the day, the selection is as-expected - light. Not dinging them for that. I chose a butter and chocolate madeleine. The rest of the bread products didn't look interesting; they just look bready. The macarons in the case were attractive, but not enough to entice me into buying. I should mention their coffee is quite popular, even though I didn't try any myself. read more

The Matcha bread here is a must-have! It's soft, a perfect balance of sweet, and so beautiful! Since many of the items here, quite popular, it seems, they are always cycling in and out, which means that everything is quite fresh. They make it quite easy to grab your items and go, and often the items are packaged so that you have a little bit more of a sense of being sanitary. The cakes and pastry boxes here are perfect gifts, and the individual pastries are wonderful, sweet treats for yourself. read more

Gf picked up some treats from here and said the shop was really cute, service was good and "we are going back, everything looked good." Sooo yeah, I'm bummed I didn't get to check this spot out but I'm excited because it sounds like a cross between Bakery Nouveau and 85 Degree. I tried the red bean filled donut and the red bean filled deep fried mochi. Both were really good and different enough but also similar (red bean paste). The donut was light and chewy without being dense and it was covered in a dusting of sugar (yum). The mochi was dense, chewy and not too sweet, really yummy. Also, the packaging is mega cute and makes it so easy to eat on the go! I'm excited to go again and pick up some other things to try, especially the savory options! read more

I preordered on phone kid's jungle party cake after looking at their website cake options and when I got there they couldn't find the cake and went to back and I saw another staff and front counter guy grabbed cake box like they found it but instead bringing to me right away they both disappeared to back kitchen area and came out few mins later. so I should have known this was a red flag. when I got home and realized cake design was different from online ordering so I called questioning and he said they changed the design ..the online is old design when they first open. he did apologized and I moved on. but when I took the cake to bday party and I was expecting high expectation with taste and texture..but worst cake ever. so dried that you can taste hard dry spots. this was worst than using Betty crocker cake mix. so this is what I think happened...the cake i ordered was never made and they just grabbed old premade cake they had in back walk in closet and that guy in back started to put decorations on top and funny thing was one of character piece wasn't even facing the front with rest so whoever had no acknowledge of cake decorating did random arrangement. and this is cake was $46 for 8inch. Also bought few random pastries...and only 2 were good out of 6. I did give probs to front guy who was making drinks fast and good. I'm sure different franchise will taste different. read more

I ordered the croquette, garlic cheese and ham bread, twisted donut, and choco croissant. I was there probably 10 minutes after it was ready. The woman inside was so sweet and had great customer service. She informed us of how much cheaper it is to order in person if we're coming to pick up. And it's always a fast transaction so that was good to know. I didn't eat till later because I had to rush back to work but the croquette filling was delicious. I loved the taste of it and the crunch of the outside. It's exactly what I thought it would taste like. The only downfall was that it seemed a bit flat to me. It was in more of a donut shape but still not as...idk filled I wanna say? Because I left everything in the bag., my twisted donut tasted like garlic bread with cinnamon sugar lol the donut was still soft and how I wanted it to taste, the taste obviously like garlic bread lol I didn't try the croissant because I knew it would taste like garlic but the garlic cheese ham bread was delicious. Everything seems like it might just be a little dry because it's a little flat. But I would come back just because of the kind woman working. I'd probably just come at opening so I could have everything fresh! read more

The French-Asian bakery Tous Les Jours is located in the Chinatown International District. I'm familiar with this bakery because I've visited it several times when I did an exchange in Beijing. The chocolate bun tastes nice, not too sweet! Americano is a nice add-on for a bread. Note: they have beautiful bday cake. If you ever need a suggestion of where to get a visually-appealing one, Tous Les Jours is definitely one of them! read more

Tous Les Jours has quickly become one of my go-to bakeries in the International District! They offer a variety of lots of goodies, such as pastries, cakes, drinks, and even specialty Korean instant ramen packs. I love walking through the store and seeing all they have to offer and picking up new pastries to try. So far, I haven't been disappointed! My favorite pastry to get here is the cream soboro bread! I've also tried the sweet potato cake, which was really different from the cakes I've tried before. It was creamy and not too sweet, which I really liked. For the next birthday, I'm definitely coming here for a cake! Whether you're looking for a pastry or birthday cake, don't hesitate to give Tous Les Jour a try! read more

For Valentine's Day, my sweetheart bought two cakes, taro cream bun and milk bread. The cakes were very tiny, but looked delectable. Decoration was pleasing to the eye, but when I bit into the strawberry cake, the strawberry was old- not fresh, and very sweet. The matcha with strawberry jam had a good balance, we wish it was a bit bigger for the price. The taro cream bun was way too sweet and unfortunately we could not finish it. The milk bread was vey fluffy, but it needed a bit more salt to bring out the bread flavor. read more

I've visited twice now and have to say I like this place. It's conveniently located close to work in Seattle's China Town so it might even be a little too convienant since I enjoy everything I've tried so far. My last visit I tried the toasted cheese sandwich with ham in the hot case alone the wall but the first time I stopped in for a few pastries an was inpressed. The prices aren't bad and the staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. There are many more items I plan to try on my next visit. The croissants dipped in chocolate looks yummy and the pastry I tried with spinach reminded me of Paris. It's easy to walk past this place but if you know the area around Union Station in Seattle's Chinatown, it's right across kitty corner from Starbuck's and Specialty's bakery. It's definately worth a visit. read more

Things that are French off the top of my head: JC Chasez's last name. Gerard Depardieu. A talking yellow candelabra named Lumiere. This bakery. So what's a French bakery doing in Chinatown? I had to pick something up at Uwajimaya so during my break I hopped on a 5th Ave bus to take me down to Chinatown/International District. I got off the bus and waited for the walk signal but before I crossed the street I saw an employee with a cart walk through a propped open door with a sign that said "Tous Les Jours". I had no idea what Tous Les Jours meant let alone pronounce it. I took Spanish in high school because I wanted to know if my classmates were talking S so the extent of my French is this: "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi, ce soir." Sure it sounds catchy and fun when Patti LaBelle and Christina Aguilera sing it but don't tell people you know French based on this lyric. I'll spare you the embarrassment. After making my purchase at Uwajimaya I walked towards Tous Les Jours, opened the door, and realized that it was a Korean/French bakery. Some pastries had Korean writing on the plastic packaging. The shop is quite small but they do have a dining area. They have trays and tongs off to the side and they have lots of baked items to choose from. When I purchased several pastries from the case I noticed they wrap the items in tissue paper. This is so much better for the environment since there's less plastic going into the landfill unlike another bakery close by who wraps each individual item in plastic. I stopped going there because of their wastefulness and I'm glad this bakery is conscientious of resources. I was so happy when I saw they sold Art of Tea. My favorite kind is Earl Grey Creme. I won't have to buy it online anymore. I can just come here and get it. They took over the spot which was formerly Tully's located next to Wells Fargo and across from the waterfall sculpture fountain and Starbucks. They haven't advertised that it's their soft opening. That's fine. I get that staff needs to be trained up before a grand opening. The idea of being bombarded by customers can be frazzling. I'm not sure if there will be hype since they have other locations within the region. However, there are so many ways to get here (bus, light rail and sounder train) they may have a long line in the near future. read more

Close to our hotel and China Town. Located across the street from the train station. Nice coffee and pastry shop. They also have macarons. Young man work the counter was very nice. Good mocha and good crossaints. We will definitely be back when visiting Seattle. read more

My current favorite bakery in Seattle. The employees are all kind and ready to assist. The baked goods taste as pretty as they look. My favorite so far is their fresh milk breads because it is so fluffy and soft. The inside actually has a milk filling that is a cross on texture between a pudding /custard. I also like the cream cheese custard pastry they sell because it tastes like a almond croissant filled with cream cheese. They have a lot of unique flavored breads like chestnut. It's definitely worth checking out. This is also my favorite location because it's very new and the employees are really outgoing. read more

I first had Tous Les Jours when I was in NYC a few years ago, and it was AMAZING! This is a Korean-French fusion bakery. So I was very excited for this place when I had randomly seen it on my way home. We got multiple things, and all were honestly good. My favorites were their strawberry cake slices, souffle cheesecake, and their savory croquettes. My reason for knocking down 1 star is that it's EXPENSIVE compared to NYC. I was just recently in NYC a month ago and the Tous Les Jours there was cheaper. The locations in Seattle are almost doubled the price for some reason? For example, a soboro cream bread in NYC is $2.25. A soboro cream bread in a Seattle location would be like $4. read more

The soft serve was okay, but not as creamy as I was hoping for, and it melted pretty quickly. If you decide to add a syrup flavor, I'd recommend asking for only a small amount. Mine came absolutely drowning in syrup, and honestly, the flavor tasted pretty artificial and overpowering.

Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made an otherwise difficult day a little easier. Great service can make a real difference, and she absolutely delivered. Salty's isn't the cheapest dining option at SEA, but between the quality of the food, the relaxed atmosphere, and the outstanding service, I think it's well worth it. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
