The lease was over on my wife's Kia Optima and we had been trying to decide for a few months whether we wanted to trade it in for another vehicle or buy out the lease and keep it. I contacted Towbin Kia back in August and spoke with Warren Daerda. He kept in contact from then until Monday when we finally went down there to take a look at what they could do. We ended up keeping the Optima that we had and Warren couldn't have been more helpful. We negotiated a little bit and ended up leaving with a more than adequate deal. Towbin handled the whole transaction pretty quickly and we ended up saving quite a bit per month over what we were paying on the lease. Plus, the car still has equity! Not bad!! If you are looking for a Kia, you probably won't go wrong going over and visiting Towbin Kia and DEFINITELY talk to Warren. Be honest and fair in your dealings! In my previous Yelp review i explained why folks should never deal with Towbin Kia - I listed five serious concerns. Now since then they have reemphasized their poor business practices. They claim to have reached out to me- and that I never responded. FALSE! They did not leave a message or an email- nothing besides the lack-luster response to my YELP review- where she posted the generic Dealership number and asked me to contact her directly. HOW??? No email, or direct number-NADA!!! No wonder the Tattoo Joes and Rameem the Snake-s are in their positions of prominence- They are doing just What their boss prefers. My suggestions Don't take your trade to Towbin - Go to CarMax Say no to everything that is offered in the back room.- if the warranty is that valuable - go to next dealer down the way- they can sell it to you as well and not under pressure circumstances where the real costs are hidden in $paying over time...$$ OUCH. I am not opposed to these products just to the exorbitant prices and mark-up that is part of the back-room experiences a Towbin Kia. When I bought my KIA EV6 two years ago- the manager of the KIA dealership in CA agreed to sell me the same products at $100 over his cost- and not 100-150% ($2,000) markup. And we remain friends. He moved to a Mitsubishi dealership or I would have purchased from him again... Always have your own financing ready- sometimes dealer financing is helpful- but rarely. We bought a Kia ev6 here and the experience was everything we could have asked for. Big shoutout to Mr. Lucky for giving my wife and I the best experience from start to finish. We're through the roof excited for the car and extremely satisfied with the Kia team. Warren in finance is also a great guy if you get the chance to work with him, you're in good hands. Towbin Kia has one of the best service departments around. Their manager, Peter, is extremely professional and has the utmost care for his clients. Their service writers are incredible as well. Whether Joe, Russell or Ed are busy each of them jumps to help the next customer. When/if there is a wait, they personalize each client's experience and ensure everything is explained thoroughly. Their follow-up with me was great. They offered to provide me with a loaner or the shuttle for wherever I needed to go. The estimate I was given gave me the opportunity to take take advantage of their amenities. There was plenty of seating too. My review was deleted but due to my abysmal experience with this place, I will write it again. Like most we saw an advertisement on Towbin's site for a car we were looking to lease. When we arrived and showed the ad to the salesman, he just shook his head. He stated we needed to look at the small print qualifiers, which we did. We met every qualifier but basically the add was a joke and a lie. The car we looked at was 24k MSRP with an additional 8K for market demand and inflation. Towbin lets just call it what it is - greed. Then we were asked to put down 12K for a lease - I shared if I wanted to put 12K down I would buy the damn thing. After going back and forth for an hour and providing our bottom line, Bailey, the sales manager came to advise they couldn't meet our price point. Fine, we were done talking. He continued to try and negotiate as we walked out the door. Later the dealership sent texts with other offers of a smaller car than the one we looked at for the exact same price, which we immediately declined and asked them to stop texting us as they would not have the benefit of our business...ever. I see that there are a lot of one-star ratings for this dealer and feel sure that there is a reason for this. Don't be suckered into the adds or the hope that you will find ANY kind of deal at this place. If you have read the dealerships responses, they offer a variety of excuses and justifications for high prices only to offer the customer a dangling carrot of a better offer to keep your business. This place is a joke, in my opinion and based on my experiences. From sales to service, I've gotten poor treatment and never had a satisfying experience. I was called to purchase a car that I had expressed interest in (Kia EV6). I made my way to the dealership to be met by a salesman that admitted to not knowing much about the vehicle or it's operation, but wasn't willing to find another salesman that did. Regardless, I took the car for a test drive and against my better judgement proceeded with the purchase. I was told throughout the process that the car had been driven by someone in the dealership for a while, but that I would be the first "owner" on the title. I moved forward with negotiating based on this information but was told at the financing table this was inaccurate and that (since this was a pre-owned vehicle) I wouldn't be eligible for traditional new car warranties. Again, against my better judgement, I proceeded (partially due to a bit of pressure from the team at Towbin despite being given misinformation from the salesman). Fast forward two weeks, and I notice that a portion of the body has become disconnected with the frame. I ask the salesman via text if there's any wiggle room for this to be corrected and he quickly made an effort to state that was the condition in which it was purchased (as if that was something I wouldn't have noticed). This is where the service issues come in: trying to get in touch with the service department at this place is more difficult than communicating with a dead relative. They essentially try to push you into making walk-in appointments rather than scheduling something (like, you know, adults). I was never able to get in for the body issue, but now there's a tire pressure sensor acting up. I know that the tires are good after a recent check/rotation outside of Towbin. I (finally!) get in touch with a member of the service team to only be told that the issue is the weather and the amount of air in the tire (35 lbs). When I try to explain that that seems incorrect because the rest of the tires are at a consistent pressure and aren't being alarmed, I get treated like a child and the service member begrudgingly schedules an appointment for 4 weeks out (which is also absurd). I don't ever recall getting to the point with a business that I feel the need to leave a bad review, but this seems so consistent and shady that I felt compelled to share my experiences. My review is ambivalent. My 2023 Kia Sportage phev had over 15k miles. I called for an appointment for an oil change and got it two days later. I came in about 10 minutes earlier and checked in with Joe. He asked me if I want a complimentary car wash so I said sure. After almost 2 hours I check my $10 off coupon and it shows includes tire rotation so I went out and told Joe and he called whoever was working on the car to add it. After several minutes, the service advisor, Karen Amaya, told me is ready and took me to the cashier. I was totally surprised when the bill came to $123. I was supposed to be $79.95 minus my $10 off coupon. She told me that that was for the essentials service. I said, why wasn't I told it'll be more charge when the coupon shows it includes the tire rotation. I found it kind of deceptive and she was kind enough to ask me if I want to talk to the manager, I said yes, and she went out and looked for the manager. I also mentioned that the car wasn't washed. Note: This oil change service has taken almost 3 hours. After a few minutes, Karen, the service advisor told me I'm good to go. I said where is the invoice so I could pay but she told me the manager removed the charge. I don't mind paying for the service, but I was totally surprised that they have a great manager who is Customer service oriented. He or she is a great asset to Towbin Kia. read more

I take back this review 100%. I've had this car for a solid 2 months and it's caused me nothing but issues. On July 9, 2020, I took my car in to service because the AC went out. They fixed it, no big deal. Not even 2 weeks later, on July 20, 2020, the same issue occurred. I called numerous times and left plenty of voicemails. No one responded so I actually had to go to the dealership and they told me they couldn't squeeze me in for another week. It's 100+ degrees out in Las Vegas. I cannot go without AC. Finally, I get my car fixed a second time. Not even 2 weeks later, On July 31, 2020, my AC goes out a 3rd time. If I wanted this much of a headache, I would've kept my old car. I bought a 2017 Ford Explorer from Towbin Kia in Aug 2022. In November 2022 it was using a lot of gas. They said take it to Ford. It needed a tuneup, the sparkplugs were burnt. Ford stated the warranty I bought would not cover any of the repairs. It needed two motor mounts, and two transmission mounts. Took it to an independent shop for the tune up. $250.00 and oil change. then late December/ early Jan I took the vehicle to Elite auto (great place, did an awesome job) to fix the motor mounts and transmission mounts. The vehicle had little to no oil in it, and the transmission fluid was black. The engine had moved 1 1/2 inches. The vehicle would not go into gear. Were hoping that doing motor and transmission mounts would fix that issue. Elite pulled the vehicle out of the bay and it slipped out of gear. The warranty company insisted I take it back to Ford. I did and it turned out it needed a new transmission. It took a month and a half to get it repaired warranty covered a portion of the repair. I had to pay $2800.00 of the $8900.00 bill. Towbi Kia refused to help with any $$ for any of the repairs. I bought the vehicle in Aug, it was in the shop by November, then not driveable Jan - March 20th (when I got it back). They sold me a piece of Sh*t vehicle and washed their hands of it. They put vehicles that are in poor condition on their lot, sell them to the public and then leave it to the person that had it for two months to put thousands of dollars into, stating "our mechanics checked it", well your mechanics suck. Sad part is I only asked them to cover $500.00. Don't buy a car here unless you want one you will have in the shop longer than it is on the road. PLEASE BEWARE OF THESE GUYS..... Honestly one of the worst experiences ever, just absolutely terrible. Buying a car is suppose to be an exciting and nice experience. However these guys decided to take it and make it the worst possible experience ever. David was our initial guy, nice as can be. He was inviting and very easy-going. Then we got to interact with Brendan, again very nice guy. However did not know how to take NO for an answer. Very pushy and really couldn't care less on what we wanted. After repeatedly saying no he kept pushing for a deposit on a vehicle that we didn't want. Even after we insisted that we weren't interested and even giving him impossible conditions he would not stop hounding us. It was so bad that my Girlfriend was practically in tears because he kept insisting. The worst part is that WE WERE ACTUALLY CO-WORKERS with a different company. This kind of treatment makes me sick to think that they think this is ok. I get that it's their job however if this is what is expected from the Towbin Group, STAY AWAY FROM THESE JERKS. I needed a car and after this experience my GF was so nervous that it would happen again that she would not visit another dealership without me going in and talking to someone that wouldn't replicate this behavior. My whole issue with them is how could you approve us for the car we wanted and go over monthly payments that we accepted at that time and then say I forgot to add your spouse on the application (something we told them when we came in for our appointment and when they called us numerous times) and then come back with an approval for a different car we didn't want. My thing is get us the car we were approved for at first and those payments instead of saying oh well you are now approved for this so you either take it or look at this Malibu I want you to buy like WTF make it make sense. I appreciate the apology but that did nothing. Hopefully my reviews on every platform including the better business bureau helps future customers not waste their time. We bought a brand new Sorento, had no issues and loved the car! Took it in for the first oil change and mysteriously the engine needed replaced! We were told 1 week but it took 6!! We couldn't get anyone to answer the phone of call us back. My service contact (Danny) was useless and would flat out tell me lies. Surprisingly he has been fired. Now at 26,000 miles the transmission is bad and needs replaced. I called the 18 times over 3 days and not 1 call back. What a joke. Watch out for bait and switch pricing. First of all this review is not about the salesperson I dealt with. He was perfectly nice and just doing his job. My issue is with the way this dealership operates as an unethical business. I have been researching the new telluride for some time and found what I thought was a good deal on their website. Used the payment calculator for the car ... again on THEIR WEBSITE ... and decided to contact them to come look at the car based on the fact the payment fit my budget perfectly. Went back and forth with the internet sales department and finally rearranged my schedule to drive across town to check out the vehicle. Did a test drive and told our salesman that the sale was gonna be all based on the numbers for me. I liked the vehicle a lot but didn't NEED to walk out the door having purchased it. I will never allow a salesman to play me on an emotional purchase. We sit down to go over numbers and the salesman says the price of the car is $9,000 more than what the website showed. It went from $35,000 to $44,000. I said "no, no - the website said $35,000" and he responded "come back outside to the car and I'll show you why." Long story short they added a $4,000 "market adjustment" due to the current popularity of the car as well as all the options they have added to make this lower level vehicle look like the higher priced trim levels. I'm sorry but a 30% increase from the price advertised on the website is a good old fashioned bait and switch. Of course they then send out a manager to tell you all about how this car is so popular and won a bunch of awards and a bunch of BS. Mind you we are still 30% higher than what was advertised on their website. We were told the extra cost was "taxes and fees" but seriously who expects a 30% increase due to "fees". I think a couple thousand in fees is somewhat reasonable but not 9. I understand this vehicle is popular because it is new but don't falsely advertise on your website hugely incorrect prices and then hide BS in the tiny asterisks and fine print cleverly hidden on the site. Buyer beware. Call and get the ACTUAL price of the car and NOT the MSRP they show on their website. Thanks for wasting my precious time with your shady and unethical business practices. I will never ever return here and will tell anyone I know considering this dealership to steer way clear!!! Not worth it. **UPDATE**This dealership is a joke! Liz had me send her texts that I had with Ellen and told me she would get back to me, 3 weeks later still nothing. I sent her an email asking for a follow up and she said she had Ellen reach out to me (which never happened) and that she doesn't sell the vehicles so she can have someone reach out to me? No follow up and lies from this dealership. You should check out their F rating on the Better Business Bureau...I think that proves my point! read more
