Got my KIA soul for Christmas year end 2017, It's a 2018 Soul + ,, it was in for service on 8/13/18 ,, 9/28/18,,,,10/31/18 and new transmission was installed......Now I dropped my car off on 12/13/19 and they are installing another transmission and clutch,,, I was supposed to have my car in five days and I still don't have. I have called and everyone I speak to just tells lies. Parts coming !! Here I sit, no car and now they tell me I won't have my car until after 1/07/2020 . The choice to purchase a vehicle right now was a tough one to make, but with public transportation being so unreliable and the cost of ride shares constantly on the rise and also rather unreliable, we really didn't have much of a choice. My little brother suggested Tobin Kia because he had been browsing online looking for something he thought might suit us well. When we arrived we were greeted immediately with friendly and knowledgeable staff, unfortunately I didn't get the name of the staff member that greeted us first, but he was very polite and quick to get us on track with a salesman. They were expecting a visit from the president of Kia North America so needless to say, there was a lot going on. Despite all of this, Dave, our salesman was very friendly and focused on helping us decide what vehicle would be right for us. All of our questions were answered, he asked great questions that helped keep us on the same page and we were able to leave the lot in a 2022 Kia Soul that day. Warren, the finance manager we worked with on our deal was also amazing, despite several issues including problems on our end getting some of our paperwork together, Dave and Warren both made the entire experience memorable in a good way. It was like hanging out with old friends. While in the background things were quite hectic, conversation stayed light, we didn't leave feeling pressured, we walked out the door with exactly what we went there for plus the memories of a wonderful experience! I would say unfortunately, our follow up call with Felicia from finance wasn't as pleasant, I sat on the edge of my seat for the week after speaking to her not knowing if we would pass final approval because she was having difficulties deciphering my bank statements?!?! She said something along the lines of thinking we "should" be okay and be able to pass a final review but we would have to just wait and see. I don't think I slept while waiting for the welcome letter and notice to pick up our green slip, I really feel like that was a lot of undue stress, but I will say that is more of an issue with the lender and not the actual dealership. We stopped by today to look at a Telluride because we saw so many available on their website. We saw one on the lot, there amy have been more but NO ONE was even remotely interested in helping us. Once we looked at the sticker it was 43k with an 18k mark up for a total of 61k. Are you out of your minds? They marked this car up 37% and called it an msrp adjustment. Now mind you on their website they have no mention of their mark up adjustment, so they bait you to get you down there and then. I will spend the rest of my life telling everyone I can not to shop at a Tobin dealership. read more

I went to Towbin Kia in Henderson on 10 September 2021, and bought a 2020 Kia Soul.  Finding the car I wanted and test driving it was the easy part.  I was then turned over to the Finance Manager, James Barnett.  After signing all the paperwork for the car, he sold me a warranty from Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc.  When I got home and read it, I realized it wasn't as accommodating as he described it, and it wouldn't suit my needs.  I called him immediately to cancel it.  He told me I'd have my refund in 2 weeks.  After a month, I called and left a message asking about my refund.  He did not return my call.  A week later, I called again and left a message - again no call back.  I then sent an email to James, and also Maribell in marketing, inquiring about my refund. I mentioned in my email, I'd be posting on YELP - No response from either of them.  In the end, I called the warranty company and they told me how the refund works.  Perhaps James needs to call them so he can give the customer the correct information regarding refunds, and how long they actually take to return the money.  I finally got my refund in December. Why are they selling warranties on cars that are still under warranty?  They must think, after spending hours at the dealership, that we are all brain dead.  I wonder how many others read it once they got home and had the good sense to cancel it. When I was ready to leave the dealership, I was handed a key to my car.  Turns out they had only one key.  They had no interest in supplying me with a second key.  Had I known there was only one key, I would have either negotiated for a second one or negotiated more for my car.  Don't let this happen to you.  Before any negotiations, make sure they have both keys for you. I would have posted this review sooner but I was waiting for my title to be mailed to me.  In December, I called the Title Clerk.  She told me the DMV returned it to the dealership because it had to be notarized.  I finally got it in February.  She blamed the delay on the DMV; I'm not sure that's completely true.  Robin, the Title Clerk, was always professional and returned my calls. I can't speak for other buyers, but for me there was zero customer service after they had my money. The only one who cares about me now is the service department who constantly sends me emails and postcards. read more

Date of visit: 12/30/2017 It's difficult to rate a car dealership because they're all scummy in my opinion. What differentiates my experiences are the salesmen. So I rated this place according to the sales guys we spoke with. All together, there were 4 guys we worked with. My boyfriend saw a car he wanted online. Since we were going to be in Vegas for New Years, we arrived the day before to check it out. The pricing was different than online showed. There were 2k more miles on it than online showed a few days prior. Then, the sales guy who did the test drive (Pablo) was super pushy even before we finished the drive. When we inquired about the pricing and mileage difference, he got upset with us and just said "ok bye" and turned immediately to walk away. He was pissed. The way he said it was rude. Does he actually think I'll refer anyone to him after that? If he does, he shouldn't. That was not cool. The internet sales manager we spoke to was much friendlier and attentive to our needs. I did not want to speak with Pablo again and he assured us we wouldn't. He kept his word. We spoke with James and had a decent experience. He worked with us and continued to try and fit our budget and needs. He did the most work. I hope it's James that gets whatever commission that might have come out of the sale. The last guy we spoke to was in finance. He wasn't really pushy but wasn't explaining things in a manner we could understand. I'm college educated and had a difficult time understanding what he was saying (or trying to). I think English was his second language. That might have had something to do with it. Nevertheless, he did work with us and help us as best he could. After spending close to 8 hours there - we were very hungry. The radio station set up outside had sandwiches to hold us over. We were grateful for that. At the same time, we won 2 Maroon 5 tickets and a Google Home Mini in 2 raffle drawings! How cool is that? The car is great - transferring it to California is a different story. Keep that in mind. The place itself is clean with a nice seating area. Free wi-fi and nice bathroom. read more

Towbin KIA advertises a a lease deal for 2022 Kia Soul LX-$4,995 due at signing and $88 a month for 36 months. Towbin DOES NOT HONOR the advertised deal. When you get there they will tell you about a "Market Adjustment" of $3,000-$6,000. The "Due at Signing" is closer to $8,000 and the monthly payment is over $200. When I challenged the salesman, he quoted Webster dictionary-"Advertise" means "get the customer in here", and read the fine print in the ad. Henderson Kia and their service department work very close together to put out outrageous quotes for service supposedly needed on Mazdas purchased from them. That way they can recommend that you instead trade your car in for a new one. We purchased the car in 2013 - a 2006 Mazda 6 with 32K miles originally for over $10K. Had we not purchased the warranty, we would have been screwed because the transmission went out in it not even a year after purchasing it. Fast forward 4 years later, the car has 77K miles and they think we are better off trading it in then getting it fixed. They gave us a quote for over $4000 of work on 6 recommendations. We successfully got the car fixed elsewhere for under $800. 2 of the 6 recommendations from Mazda were actually needed. Mazda's marketing team even had the audacity to follow up on their scam with a mailer addressed to us claiming that THEY NEED 2006 Mazdas, and we can get up to $3K for ours! Wow!
