After working on a deal for close to a month we finally had the final pricing negotiated for a NEW 2017 Kia Sedona (so I thought); I went to the dealer today and the NEW minivan had 786 miles on it, was dirty inside and out. Tried to negotiate the pricing again and they would NOT ,their reason, is a new vehicle. I don't care if this vehicle has not been registered, 786 miles should not be on it, the vehicle we had agreed on last week had 16 miles on it. Be very careful when visiting this dealership. First of all , overall amazing and easy experience from initial phone call to meeting Pablo and Carlos the sales reps and then getting into finance it was absolutely a seamless and easy experience. Everyone was attentive, and heard my concerns and did not push me into anything. While we were sitting in Patrick's office who is one an overall amazing person, the owner came in and shook my hand and thanked me for the business. The initial payments were a little higher than what I initially was hoping for but Patrick said not to worry and he'd work on it throughout the week to see if he could get a better deal. Two weeks ago I bought a pre owned certified car from Warren, but it smelled so bad. On my third trip up there to tried and get the smell out of the car this time I was getting my seats shampoo,but I couldn't because the service department for used cars was closed, even though I may the appointment through a manager Freddie and he wasn't even there. So, another guy Evan helped me out and I just ended up buying a new car so they bought back the smelly kia of course, I loss money! But it is September the 3rd, and they are having a BIG Labor Day weekend sale. With 0% APR financing with I have excellent credit 823, but I could not get the 0% APR. Every new car sale you get a new tv and a playstation which I did not get! The only thing I got was a higher car note with in added year and paid registration. I truly feel like I got ripped off. I'm not sure if the change in ownership is the reason for some of the nonsense at this place or what but I hope things get fixed soon! To start off on a bright note, service department (especially Ed) is awesome! Been taking my car there for years and work was always done quickly and professionally. Never felt taken advantage of and everything was always really clear ahead of time. Unfortunately when you move to the other side of the house, things start to go south. I bought a new car there and traded in my old car on September 14th. Tilan (sorry if I'm butchering your name) took care of every request I had and bent over backwards to get me exactly what I asked for and he is (along with the service department) why this is a 3 star and not 1. After everything was sorted and I had my new car (which was shipped from Utah quickly and arrived perfect) I had to go back to the dealer several times because the finance people kept forgetting to have me sign things and filled out my paperwork with the wrong name. That aside, I had to go back over and over asking why it was taking so long for my old car to get paid off (which it did, 2 days shy of one month later) and it was always another excuse. One day Tilan was there and got it sorted out the NEXT day instead of feeding me excuses about why it wasn't done or throwing other staff members under the bus. Pretty sure he was going above and beyond the duties of a sales manager. Last thing at this point feels nit picky but worth mentioning. My lease was stated as the first month being paid for which I guess at Towbin Kia means the day you take it home, that is a payment they make for you because one month later I had to make a payment already. Feel like that was a bait and switch but please make something like that more clear if that is really the situation. Great place to take your car for service but would steer clear of buying/trading a car unless you get to work with Tilan and Tilan only. read more

I was pre-approved and went through my credit union and True Car, ready to buy. The salesman I spoke with was fantastic and they had a great selection. This is why they get any stars at all. The breakdown came when the finance manager aggressively tried to close the sale and convince me to finance with them instead. I had asked them to give me until the morning to run the numbers by my credit union rep so I could go with the best APR. The finance manager became annoyed and then became dismissive. After I spoke with my rep at the credit union, it turned out financing with the dealership would have been the best option. I did not return due to my experience the night before. This is my second KIA from Towbin. I have always had great customer service from salespeople to finance and service. They are professional and communicative. The showroom is always busy but it seems like everyone is being taken care of. Carlos was super friendly and worked hard for my business (on his day off!) James in finance was informative and quick. The service department is amazing. The times I have brought my son's Kia there Joe has been my service contact. He is always so friendly, accommodating , and goes up and beyond when servicing my son's car. Unlike other dealers, when I show up and Joe was busy , his coworker has always jumped in and helped me until Joe was free. Last time I took my car in, Joe got in to pull it around and noticed something wasn't right with the steering, I had no clue, he pointed it out and added it to the service request for me and fixed it (covered under warranty) . This last time I called I needed an appointment ASAP, Although Joe was booked , he offered to let me drop off the car and he would work on it in between other cars. Joe was honest that it may take a few days, but he was done within hours of me dropping it off. They are a great service team, great customer service . read more

The worst.... 0 integrity at all. I contacted this dealer from out of state to find a vehicle I was looking for. The original sales guy Parker was great! They said they had the vehicle in style and color coming in a couple of weeks. So we made a deal. I put down $1,000 deposit and sent over my DL and payment info. Two weeks turns into a month, but I was patient, as I know there have been delays with "Covid, chips, recalls, etc. No problem. The vehicle finally shows up last week, and my sales guy calls to tell me its here and they would work on the paper work. The next day they fedex the package to me, and I send back the next day including my check from my credit union, which was about 60% of the purchase price. The other 40% I would bring in a cashiers check from the same credit union. A couple of days later when I call to find out when I would be taking delivery, they tell me there is a problem with my drivers' license, and it wont' "Verify".....The sales manager starts by asking me if he wants me to send my deposit back... No, there has to be some other way to "verify" my identity. Then he says if I fly out there to physically scan my ID and submit a credit application, he would consider honoring the deal they made. Credit App?... I have my own financing secure long ago with my credit union. No thanks. Long story short, they say they are not going to do the deal, I call him to find out why, and he basically says there are 5 other people that want the vehicle. Cesar Hernandez and Jordyn Peterson are the worst salesman's and saleswoman I've ever come across. Little to not regard to your financial situation and credit history. Cesar reminded me about that with a smart ass remark "have you seen your credit lately?" And also disrespecting my trade in with "would you buy that car for the money your asking for?" Buddy, it's not what I would buy it for, it's what the car is worth. I found it funny how Jordyn runs to her manager after me not falling for her lies. She stayed quiet the entire time after doing so. After seeing I was uncomfortable with the offer, they run off to another potential victim. I walked in looking for my sales man kenneth and he was out so we waited for 15mims for someone to tell us he wasn't there then a black sales women come to us stands on the chair with one knee and ask are you looking to just test drive or buy cuz don't waste my time and I said "what make u think I'm not buying?" Terrible new car buying experience in early April, 2021. I have purchased cars at the Towbin predecessor Henderson Kia before and always took my vehicles there for service with no problems. However, this experience was different. I encountered salesman Troy as I was browsing the lot and was shown a few cars I was interested in (Kia Seltos and Kia Soul). I was interested in the difference between the various levels -- eg. S, LX, -- and Troy was not knowledgeable. However, I left saying that I'd do my own research and call him back the next day with questions about a specific Seltos if I was interested in a test drive. I did so and came back the next day for a test drive. When it came to sitting down to talk turkey, the information Troy gave me on the lot and over the phone was not correct (the negotiations started at a much higher new car price) and the trade in price was insultingly low. I left and the next day, purchased a new Seltos, one step higher than the one I was trying to buy at Towbin, for $3,500 less at Jim Marsh Kia. If you're a woman absolutely don't go to Towbin. My experience with Jim Marsh was respectful and professional and I recommend them. read more

Heads up got a call from Chance the GM from Towbin Kia said he had important information about our car I purchased at this dealership. It is a lie. The sales department left me on hold for over an hour. I had 5 different salespersons tell me Chance called to ask if I wanted to trade in my car however when I ask to talk to him they just left me on hold. This looks to be a sales call to past customers, they lie as to the reason for the call so you will call them back during your work day to find out that its not important they want to take your car and make you buy a new one. I would suggest this dealer ship stop the practice it not telling the true reason for the call and be making us stop our lives to find out the reason for the call was not important at all to me. read more

If I could rate this dealership no stars I would. Let me preface by saying I have purchased 5 vehicles with absolutely no problem holding my own at the negotiation table and with respect of mine and a dealership's time(time is something you never get back). My recent interactions in this last week with Towbin has been none other than ridiculous and shady. I started off narrowing down a vehicle through KIA's main website, locating the inventory at Towbin. It was then I contacted the dealership and began text conversations with 'Jazmine'. I specifically stated what I was looking to get into, what I was willing to pay and information on my trade-in. This was early evening Friday and they wanted me to come to dealership. I was not able to make it into the dealership that night, but was told to get things started to fill out online credit app. I proceeded. I was advised the manager would review my info and be in contact. Manager contacts me to go over everything and not until then(after credit ran and dinged with hard inquiry) was I advised about a $14,000(yes thousand) market adjustment being added to the vehicle of interest. Never once was I advised of that before giving the go ahead to run my credit - that is absolutely absurd on top of the already lofty MSRP I was looking at. Deal cancelled. I decided to see what I could do about looking into a model with less MSRP(especially since this dealership has now already ran my credit). I reach back out to the original person I was dealing with 2 days later. I find another vehicle that I was told was 'coming in on a truck' the next day and 'if I could come in the next day, the market adjustment could be cut in half'. I do just that; arrive for my scheduled appointment with 'Bailey', travel 30 minutes with my child to get to the dealership and 1 - vehicle was NOT there and 2 - no adjustment was being made on market adjustment. I was pretty furious to now have just wasted time driving there, time in dealership and time driving home. It doesn't stop there...I then am contacted again by the original person I spoke w/ who says they really want to be able to make this happen and GM was spoken to; market adjustment would be reduced(this week only) and additional monies taken off in fees. I'm asked to contact the dealership today(11/24) after 11am to narrow it down and get deposit squared away. I do exactly that, only to be ignored for several hours after my initial contact. Finally I am told I can do deposit via email. I ask for final quote to be sent for my review. Quote received not depicting what was discussed and still not at my monthly payment/miles I stated from the gecko. When Bailey calls me to discuss, his tone and lack of customer service skills pushed me over the edge and here I am. I 100% understand everyone is out to make money, but this dealership is in the business to take advantage and give you the run-a-round while doing so. I have been in conversations with other dealerships(same Make) and others; none are being this greedy with 'market adjustments', first of all. Second of all, none have treated me like this. So, keep in mind, you have choices; don't let this dealership be one of them. Give your money to one that at least attempts to provide clear, quality service. As you can see I am also not the only customer that has run into similar situations of some/and or all of the above. And, 'Thomas' you can save a response trying to 'back your employees' as I have texts to confirm all conversations and you were not on the line when I had three voice to voice phone calls with this dealership/staff. And, bottom line, you are in the business to provide CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

I recently traded in my Kia Soul, I had a few ideas in mind of what I wanted next but I wasn't certain. I met with Evan "Almighty" right off the bat his personality was awesome a real wholesome guy, so I felt comfortable working with him. He gave me some suggestions on different models, and then we looked at the 2021 Kia Seltos. I fell in love with it. It was exactly what I wanted. Totally untrustworthy. I will never go back to them. Not only did they not give us the internet price that we were told it would be (because the charged some 'Recon' fee that brought the price back to what the lot sticker said) but they really ripped us off on adding a paint protection and theft protection to our contract on our used car without saying a word to us about it. They hide the cost on one contract and rush you through signing. The total on the bottom was what I expected so I signed it. The cost for the two items I mentioned were added to that total. So, instead of financing 17,000, we are financing 20,000. We had no idea until we got home and started reading through things so we could set up insurance. I guess it is our bad for not reading every line in the paperwork and questioning every word. I feel completely fleeced. read more

I'm a 47 year old Retired Marine. This is not my first time, buying a new car. I accompanied my wife, to purchase a car for her. I sat back and watched, as they took us for fools. They started by saying, she "wasn't going to qualify," and ignored her, to pitch me. Then they came back to her, and offered an entry level Sorento, FOR $47,000+!!! Are you freaking kidding me. We immediately walked out. We saw two other dealerships, completely different story. Auto Nation Nissan, and Cardinaleway Mazda. They treated with respect. JoJo at Cardinaleway Mazda, made sure to have Starbuck's waiting, for not just me...but my 7 year old daughter too(no, not coffee, a refresher). After due diligence, we went with a CX-9, for almost $10k less than the Sorento, at 3+%. Was a base model CX-9, you ask? No. Leather seats, AWD TOURING MODEL! It's been almost a month, and my wife loves it. I love that businesses that respect and want your business, still exist. read more

So I leased a Kia Optima when Towbin Kia was actually Henderson Kia about 3 years ago. They worked with my budget and I was happy with the overall experience. Fast forward to Febraury of 2019. I began receiving correspondence via mail and by phone with numerous offers to return my lease early. Apparantly they were in need of used vehicles, at least that's what I was told. So I agreed to come in April 2019 to return my lease about 3 months early. I decided to purchase a used K900 instead of leasing another vehicle because I didn't see an advantage of leasing another vehicle. At that time I was told I had to pay a $400 fee because I wasn't leasing again plus $1200 for the last 3 months of the lease. I agreed because I wouldn't be due for my first new car payment for an entire month which would give me time to catch up financially. In August of 2019 I received a bill from Kia for an additional $700. They charged me for an additional month after I was told the bill was taken care of with my initial down payment of $1600. I was told they were charging for mileage overage and s scratch on the front bumper, although I was initially told these fees would be waived because I turned the vehicle in early per their request. To summarize I could have kept my car until the end of the lease and avoided making double payments ( one for the leased car and one for the purchased car) since there was no benefit for me. They sold me on the idea of saving money but it cost more in the long run. So now I'm stuck with another bill feeling taken advantage of. So disappointed with my experience. read more

Not only did I have a loaner vehicle while my car was in the shop but anytime I had to wait the girls always asked if you would like some snacks or water.
