Girls trip means exploring the food scene of our surroundings ! A recommendation of a local guide we found ourselves here for sunset and late night bites. Great bar, seating inside and out. DJ set up mid meal and dropped some great throwbacks ! Great service and great bites between the shrimp and the chopped cheese outstanding !!! Def loved every part of this experience!

Superb sports bar vibes with enjoyable spacing to enjoy some company with friends! Had a good time. There wasn't any sport games playing when we came, the focus seemed to be on their music. I love the multiple sections and especially the theming of homey/cozy furniture on one section. It was my favorite. It was an absolute vibe and we even joined a group of people playing cards. The left side bar had a live band playing some classic rock music with a guitarist and drummer. Super loud and was overwhelming but the right side bar had a more quieter mood despite there being a DJ playing some music lol. I think I'd prefer ordering drinks from that bar instead! Other than that, lots of opportunities to sit as a large group or as a couple. Great balcony seating to watch and a plus while it was cold was some fire pits going on! - No outside food allowed - Not sure if there's an elevator for ADA, we needed to climb up a staircase to come inside as it's on the top floor! - Different genres of music played every day!

You can distinctly tell which side is an older crowd and which is a younger crowd. Chill place. Love the outside views and fun treehouse feel. Lots of drinks to choose from. There was a spill on the floor that I also slipped and it was never cleaned up. That kind of s u c k e d. Everyone just walked over it.... Especially the staff. They check IDs at the front. You take stairs to get up to the bar area. Lots of space. It gets really packed. The bar tenders are very attentive and work quick to get you your drinks. Prices are reasonable to all but of the other places there. Good vibes. 4 stars ONLY because of the large slippery spill . Otherwise it would have been 5

I ended up coming here on the weekend to check out a brand pop-up for sparkling wine. It was very busy and crowded so if you can't handle the sports bar vibe this is not the place for you. Otherwise if you want a great location to watch the game with others with great drinks and food I highly recommend Tower 12. I ended up getting the Mac and Cheese and was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty good! It's not "homestyle" Mac and cheese but it was very creamy and I would definitely order it again! Honestly I kinda wished it was a bigger portion too because I wanted more haha. They have plenty of seating that faces the windows/outside so if you feel a bit claustrophobic you could actually sit there and feel fine!

Came here with my daughter and my husband for drinks. First time here for me; I knew the owner of the previous place when I lived here... Very chill surf vibe. Restaurant/bar is upstairs overlooking ( Hermosa) Pier Plaza. We didn't eat, just had a few drinks. Servers were great ( we came during a shift change). 6 days later I forgot what we drank but they were good!!!

Reviewing both daytime and night time, as the environment changes completely here! That said, this really is a Hermosa staple. I've been to Tower 12 a handful of times for brunch - food is always good, not too expensive and the service is great! Waiters are attentive but not annoying and it really is prime real estate right on the main strip of Hermosa. They have both a breakfast and lunch menu so you have options. We all opted for breakfast - I ended up with breakfast burrito (they make them with tater tots which is superior to standard potatoes imo) and my friends got French toast and the eggs Benedict. Everyone was very pleased with their meals! Pics attached. I went back for the first time at night for a friend's birthday in which I learned they turn into a full bar. While I had a ton of fun, I definitely prefer brunch. At night, there is a $5 CASH cover charge. I'm definitely a hater when it comes to cover charges, as if the bar isn't making enough on drinks.. but I digress. This is a cool spot - they have a DJ playing music, there's places to dance, places to sit, and just overall a good vibe. I'm taking away a star, just because the number of people they allow inside at once is a little concerning. I'm all for a poppin bar, but you really can't even walk two steps without being pushed or bumped by someone else. That all said, I would definitely go back! Just probably during the day instead, lol.

Super fun veranda-like rooftop seating vibes with vintagey surf beach decor, overlooking the plaza, close beach access and great for people watching. The staff was friendly throughout our visit and we were seated promptly with no wait time during an early weekend lunch. The food... We ordered the blue fin tuna poke, the presentation was very pretty but not what we expected for poke. It tasted more like a lemony fish ceviche and we were not a fan of the avocado mousse. We also ordered the 12hr short ribs with mashed potatoes and asparagus. This had also very nice presentation and nice flavor but the asparagus tips were not cut out properly so were very stringy and tough. Overall they offer fun vibes and have some nice weekend specials and fun events for various holidays. The entrance is on the side and you do have to walk up a staircase to access the variety of rooftop seating areas, so I'm not sure if they have handicap access. Also although there's plenty of metered parking but it is a busy area so the parking is always best left to luck or distance. I will probably visit again and try other food items before judging based on what we ordered alone but definitely recommend for the fun beach vibe alone.

I've been coming here for years, enjoying both the meals and the bar. It's the perfect spot to chill, with a great ambience whether you want outside seating, the bar, or the comfy couches. They host live bands occasionally, which adds to the festive Hermosa vibe without ever feeling loud or overwhelming. I tried a new dish called the Woodfired Garlic Shrimp with garlic bread. I wasn't sure what it was called at first, but I looked it up and found it's the Woodfired Garlic Shrimp. It reminded me a bit of a similar dish I've had at BJ's, but they nailed it, delicious and flavorful! Tower 12 consistently delivers on ambience and flavor, making it a go-to for a reliable good time.

This place was exceptional. From the food, drinks and service. I travel all around the state and it's very hard to fine a place like like this. I felt at home as it almost seemed that I was in my living room with the decor. Whoever had the idea to decorate this place the way it is, may be a genus. Love all of it. Came here for the first time with a friend. Wanted to enjoy the weekend morning on the patio since the weather was nice. We arrived before noon, so finding a seat at the deck/patio area was no issue. I promptly started with the Ironman bourbon cocktail. Absolutely delicious. Perfect drink to perk up my senses and kickstart the palate for more drinks and good food later. Loved that the iron man was served in a flask (which was then poured into a glass with ice at the table). For food, I went with the big beach city fried chicken sandwich. It came with a nice small salad, so I felt somewhat healthy with myself. The sandwich itself was pretty damn good. Kinda wished it was fried a little longer and had a thicker crust/crisp/crunchy-ness to it. But I was still happy with the sandwich. The order also came with a nice little drop bottle of buffalo hot sauce (to which I devoured the whole thing). Finally, finished off with the old-fashioned. Overall, awesome spot, great deals, good food, good cocktails for a fair price. Nice patio seating for people watching and sun-soaking. Will be back in the future. read more

This place is my place! I love going alone for food or drinks for a mid day lunch stop or taking my family and friends for good food and great service! I love the staff here. They are what makes small town beach living so special. They remember your name, that are always consistent in service and quality of food. I love Tower 12! A restaurant on the Hermosa Pier. There's so many great restaurants at the pier, just do yourself a favor and try a different one. The food is subpar, the server recommended the pizza to us as one of the best items on the menu and the pizza was no better than a half cooked DiGornio pizza. We also got the shrimp and cauliflower off the appetizer menu and they were both fine nothing special. Service was pretty slow. Overall if your at the hermosa pier just try a different restaurant. read more

Two words: Bloody. Mary. I love Bloody Marys, and let me tell you -- Tower 12 KNOWS Bloody Marys. Okay. Before I say Bloody Mary one more time, I should add that they also have really yummy contemporary American food and are overall just a great spot to hang out and enjoy yourself in Hermosa Beach. I'm a huge fan of all the cool posters and trinkets they've got covering the place, as well as the 90s and 2000s rock and alternative tunes playing through the speakers. I also came here during the start of the pandemic last year, during which they were selling (you guessed it) Bloody Marys in plastic tub containers so that you (ahem ahem, me) could enjoy a boozy walk along the Strand. Half chicken? More like half of a hummingbird! The flavor was good on it but this place was a dud. Perhaps it's more of a spot to order drinks and munchies instead of trying to get a real meal. We sat outside and the decor/furniture out there was eclectic and fun. It seemed like the old days hanging out in a fraternity yard with Miss matched furniture and old TVs hung up with bungee cords. I get the fun and easy vibe that's cool with me. Maybe if we went inside and played some of the games it would've been more fun and perhaps we missed the point by trying to have a dining experience here. One funny thing that happened is that the couple next to us was asking about drinks and food and we could hear the serverTelling them over and over again that they didn't have that. Not sure if the couple was ordering outrageous things but it went on for so long it sounded like an SNL skit. I tell someone to stop by here for mingling and some beers. read more

Tower 12 is always a lot of fun for the weekend bar scene. They are located on the hermosa pier, and are a second story bar that has an open concept, with a beach-home inspired interior. They have two bars inside, one to the right after you walk up the stairs (this is the louder/dancing side with the DJ), has seating if you decide to eat, and it's a little hard to hear others on this side. But definitely a good time. On the left side, this is the more mellow, yet still fairly high energy side. It's easier to hold a convo on this side, and has bar/patio seating along a fire pit(?). Bathrooms are on this side, and on weekends usually a little bit of a wait to use one. The crowd here is usually a variety of all ages 21 to 50s? Usually the younger crowd is dancing on the DJ side and you can find the more mature crowd on the left side of the bar. Nevertheless, it's usually a mix of the two as people usually move from one side of the other. As the side with the DJ has less air flow and more dancing, the left side of the bar is open air. Staff are always sweet and patient. Louis the manager is usually there whenever I've been, and he's always been welcoming. He and the other tower 12 staff are always around to help if needed for any issues. I haven't tried the food here before, but I can only assume it's pretty good, I'll have to check it out at some point. Definitely recommend checking it out, and only noticed recently they have Karoake Thursdays! read more

Love the drinks and the vibes from this place. You enter from the back side behind the bakery and go upstairs to be greeted by a hostess. If you're just here for drinks there are two bars at opposite ends. I recommend going the bar on your right hand side when you enter since it an angled bar where you can easily make eye contact with a bartender, who made our drinks really well. It's a pretty intimate place so be prepared to bump into a couple people. (Ladies, beware of the bathroom door. Don't stand right in front of it). The balcony looking into a court yard is really cute and nice because you can stand and put your drinks down against the railing. The prices of the drinks weren't as expensive as I thought so that was a plus and they were really cute. Parking meters are all over Hermosa but there is a parking structure near by too. Just be prepared to walk a little. read more

It's been a while since I stop by Tower 12 on a weekday right after work. Today, I decided to stop by and had a terrible experience. The bartender was unfriendly and took a long time to serve me a drink since he was having a conversation with another customer that was sitting at the bar. I stood there and waited patiently until he was ready. I felt unwelcome and decided to have one drink and leave. I've had a better experience at this place with other the rest of the bartenders that work here. read more

The food here is quite mediocre, and possibly because they seem to be grossly understaffed, the service here is slow and inconsistent. Also, there seems to be a lot of mismanagement overall. The outside isn't open for seating sometimes until 1:00pm and sometimes even until later. The back dining room upstairs overlooks the parking lot which you don't see in pictures. Not what you expect from a Hermosa Beach eatery! I'd skip it read more

We attempted to have lunch here on Weds. party of 4. We sat in bar area and after approx 10 mins the bartender advised a server would be over shortly. In the meantime, he served the table in front of us. It would be nice if he at least took our drink order...after 20 mins w no menus or greeting by a server, we got up and left. We enjoyed a lovely lunch w many rounds at Henneseys, which had excellent food and service. read more

I have been going this bar for over 5 years. I have been going to hermosa for over 10 years. I went to this bar with some of my friends from out of town. They were denied entry for not meeting dress code. I have never heard of a dress code at tower 12. I have worn sweats there with no issue. My friends from out of town however, was denied entry because they're corduroys were too baggy....When I confronted the bouncer about the clear discrimination, he laughed at me. And when I asked if the girls in line (with baggy clothing) were going to be denied entry, he laughed and said "females, if you have a problem call corporate" read more

Came back to Tower 12 with a friendly invitation from Justin the general manager. This time around, my experience was much better! I ordered, of course, the meat feast pizza again and also the cedar salmon as our main dishes, truffle fries, and a few drinks. Brady, the other restaurant manager, made sure to greet me and checked up on me throughout my meal. Not the mention, our waitress was super nice and hospital as well. I really did appreciate Tower 12 inviting me to really show that their hospitality and food holds up to their standards. Thank you so much and I look forward to coming back to dine again! read more

We came into town for a low key bachelorette party Fourth of July weekend, Juniper rocked our world!!! She gave us some great advice on places to visit and talked us into coming back almost every eve before we left. I didn't realize how busy this place gets, especially on a Sunday...man, the staff was rocking it! Everyone was on point and we were not disappointed! A few minutes after that, the owner stopped by to chat, and we learned how they were able to open the restaurant so quickly. (Turns out it wasn't quick at all, they'd been looking for a location for quite some time.) We were so impressed that we went back two days later for a late afternoon sandwich. My friend got the burrito with bacon but the bacon came in chunks which wasn't good. The burrito also wasn't on all of the menus so just know it's available even if it's not on the menu you have. Overall the vibe was good and the food was tasty. Make sure to book a reservation in advance otherwise you might not get a table outside.

We ate half of our meals that day and finished the leftovers on the 23rd. On Christmas Eve morning, I woke up violently ill. I spent the next several days isolated in a bedroom, unable to keep anything down, constantly vomiting, and dealing with severe gastrointestinal symptoms. It was the sickest I have ever felt in my life with severe nausea. At the same time, my 3‑year‑old daughter suddenly spiked a 103.5° fever and developed diarrhea. My husband had to rush her to urgent care, and from there she was sent to the ER so she could receive fluids. Watching my child go through that was terrifying. After a week of not improving, I went to urgent care and tested positive for Salmonella poisoning. My daughter also tested positive while she was hospitalized. We are both still dealing with symptoms. I am going on a second strong course of antibiotics today. After my test result was reported, the LA County Department of Public Health contacted me. They told me that another woman in Redondo Beach, who had eaten the same salad on 12/22, also tested positive for Salmonella and had been hospitalized for several days. I later spoke with her and her family, and hearing her story was heartbreaking. LA County has opened an investigation, and I am cooperating fully. I'm sharing what happened to us in hopes that it helps others stay aware and safe.

The smash burger had a really weird taste and I think it was the chopped tarragon or whatever herb they're hiding in the burger patty that isn't listed on the menu. It absolutely ruined the burger. The fish tacos (apparently their most popular item) were a big miss for me. Presentation is nice but the piece of fish in the taco was half the size of the tortilla and it's loaded with tons of unnecessary items in my opinion. I didn't enjoy the pickled jalapeño or the pineapple. Felt like they're trying to make things fancy but in the process they're compromising the taste. Would not recommend if you're coming for a meal. Perhaps if you just want a drink this is the spot for you.

Hand rolled spaghetti was coiled with a mixture of mushrooms in a brown butter sauce. Super savory. Great starch, goes well with everything. Can't wait to try more dishes during future visits!

The performance was in the larger room. The comics really connected with the audience because they had a bit more time to share their various experiences. The meal was delightful as it always has been.The service excellent. We met MIKE one of the founders of the club in the parking lot earlier in the evening, I had forgotten my tickets at home and couldn't find them on my phone. MIKE made sure that the front receptionist would accommodate us. It was wonderful. At the conclusion of the evening as we were driving home, my phone rang. It was the comedy club calling to let us know that one in my party had left her sweater on the chair. Did we want to come back to get it? We told them to just give it to someone who needed it because we were about to get on the freeway at that point. What a wonderful surprise that they took the care and initiative to figure out who was sitting at that table and to reach out to us, that's service ! I recommend this comedy club wholeheartedly. You'll have a great time and a great meal at an affordable rate. It's one of the best things going on the coast. Enjoy! Laugh!! Have fun. And do take the time to examine the wonderful collection of Hollywood memorabilia and comics' costumes that are on display. It's a special little museum its own right.

They also serve Sawara where they smoked it in a special wood(not going to specify so you can be surprised, trust me it's amazing), and if I was blind testing, I would have thought it was a piece of bbq meat. For dessert, they served this banana ice cream with forbidden rice pudding and ube mochi and it was the perfect refreshment after the delicious meal. We always get the bottle of Sancerre, but the sake or wine pairings seem interesting too. TLDR; if you're in South Bay and you love sushi, do omakase here. You'll love it, I guarantee it

This is the first time that I have ever found it necessary or important to write a review on Yelp. I was sitting outside of Tower 12 on Saturday afternoon. I saw the entire incident that JIM P (1 star previous review accusing the doorman/Tower 12 of "ageism or homophobia") wrote about. Jim and his husband walked up to the doorman and asked if they could go up and take a look at the place. The doorman said that they had to wait because he had to hold a line before he was given the "ok" (through his head set) to let another set of people up. Once two people walked out, Jim P said to the doorman in a very sarcastic tone "Isn't this the way it works? Two people come out, then two people go in....We know how to count". The doorman then said "It's not the way it works, I need permission when to do that. I need to hold a line". At this point, there were more people waiting behind JIM P, in a very adult like manner, as opposed to JIM P arguing with him. It was at this point that JIM P said "when 6 people come out and you don't let 2 people in, there is something wrong." When the doorman then tried to explain the situation again on how the restaurant works, that he needs the "go ahead" from upstairs, JIM P then said "You are discriminating against us because we are a gay couple". The doorman then said that he needs to follow the rules of management, and it has nothing to do with his sexual preference. When JIM P continued to argue with him, he yelled to the doorman "I am going to write a bad yelp review" as he walked away. The doorman was nothing but calm, respectful and handled it the best way he possibly could when dealing with an obviously intoxicated man with a chip on his shoulder. I have never found it necessary to post, but after what I witnessed, and what I read about this incident, I had to step up and do the right thing by supporting the doorman as well as Tower 12. It is sad that people can treat others this way, and then have the "freedom of speech" to post something so inconsistent with the truth, and put somebody's business and job at risk. Tower 12 is a breath of fresh air to Hermosa Beach, with a perfect location perched on the second floor at the Pier, for an amazing view, food and employees. read more

I left a review - and it got removed. Even though there was no cussing and vulgar language, it got removed. I guess some are embarrassed of the truth, but I guess I have to whitewash the experience for Yelp - what a website! I was a regular here, but some workers here don't know how to talk to customers or handle situations by diffusing and de-escalating a situation and talking through something and conduct themselves in an outrageous manner. Even though I was a regular and paid 50 dollars the night before, for a misunderstanding I was accused of yelling at the bartender who was yelling at me and thrown out. It was at the front bar on camera. Bartender totally lied. Let me put it in perspective for you. I was a regular at this bar and one time I accidentally broke a wine glass and paid 20 dollars in tip for the broken glass. No one asked or demanded that I pay for it - I just did because I thought I should pay for the broken glass I caused. That's the type of customer I am. I have no history of being a difficult customer. But this guy felt the need to be all antagonistic, not let me talk, yell at me, accuse me of yelling at him and throw me out because I am such a rowdy and uncontrollable guy. The Lying Antagonistic Bartender needs to get a job at the circus because he's a clown. He should be fired. He's costing them more money than he's bringing in - literally because I will never go to this establishment again and therefore you lost any future business - and I was a regular. He probably acts rude to other customers as well - driving more would-be future customers away. Cool setup,loved their pasta, terrible customer service and some people who work here are on a power trip. read more

If I could rate this place a less than one star I would. But let me tell you about the experience me and my MAN experienced. SO being a woman of COLOR I went to this bar to see how it was on a Tuesday night and I get to the door around 10pm ... so whoever was working at that time on TUESDAY IS A RACIST PIECE OF SHIT. I get to the door and seeing nobody is in line he tells us that we have to wait and he gets to talking to someone on his little radio .. he kinda sucks off so we won't hear wtf he was saying on the radio thing or whatever but I'm no dummy I know wtf going on. So he's taking his precious time to let us in or whatever and then when his partner finally decides to come down 5 min later he ask to see my ID (as expected) but then after I give him my GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID this man has the AUDACITY to ask me for a second form of ID ! Like I was sitting there trying to open up an account or some shit! NEVER IN MY 30 years of living have I been to a BAR!!!!! Where they ask me for a second form of ID to enter they establishment! So yeah after that incident I told my man let's leave..... and kid you not there was this couple who skin color was ( not of color) behind us and I kinda stood to the side so I can see what we was finna go do because that place had me all the way messes up . I heard them ask to see they ID but did NOT ASK THEM FOR A SECOND FORM OF ID! So at that point I knew they guys that was ID checking at the door was racist.... And I most definitely remember who these guys were and I'm going to take this incident to the NEXT LEVEL! Because I AM NOT MY ANCESTORS !!! And I don't condone racism!!! read more

I wish I could give zero stars. If my review can stop one person from coming to this place then I have succeeded. I have come to this place many many times over the years and given them probably thousands of dollars. I have seen drunk people being belligerent and have seen people get out of control. I have not once witnessed or been with a person who was asked to leave. Last night I was wearing heels that were difficult to walk in especially in a crowded bar. I I as not drunk by any means. I ended up tripping over a chair and falling. That was embarrassing enough. Then to add insult to injury I was asked to leave! I wasn't drunk. Was not causing a scene. I literally was a girl in heels who tripped over a chair. Now I have heard this place is racist and I am not one to label any and everything racist. However, I am a black women so I must ask myself- why did I get asked to leave when I tripped over a chair and people who are literally drunk and disorderly are fine to stay? Anyways not that the owners or managers care- I am just writing this to hopefully spare at least one person from experiencing the humiliation I experienced from this place. And rest assured I will never ever spend a dime in this place again. read more

Tower 12 Review - Disappointing Experience Despite Great Ambiance I recently visited Tower 12 and while the ambiance was fantastic -- vibrant, comfortable, and perfect for a weekend outing -- the overall experience left much to be desired. To start, there was a prominently displayed football season special on the table. We got excited about it, only to be told it wasn't actually available because it's not football season. This felt like blatant false advertising and was a frustrating way to begin the visit. When it came to ordering, our server (Marcos) didn't ask for clarification and ended up bringing me something I didn't request. The food itself was underwhelming. The eggs were the only part of the meal that stood out in a good way. Unfortunately, the potatoes and bacon were both cold and practically inedible -- a major letdown. To top it off, when we asked to split the bill, Marcos disappeared and didn't return for 22 minutes -- and that was only after we went to find him ourselves. Great setting, but the service and food quality need serious improvement. I hope this was just an off day, but based on this experience, I'm not in a rush to return. read more

As a Hermosa Beach local, I frequently visit the area restaurants for my lunch breaks, and Tower 12 has always been one of my favourites especially for the Waldorf Salad and the relaxing view of the pier. The food is consistently well-prepared and beautifully presented. However, my experience today felt noticeably different. I arrived at 2:34 PM and placed my order at the bar. The bartender immediately asked if I wanted to pay, which was fine--I paid right away and even left a 20% tip. Despite that, there was no follow-up or check-in throughout my meal. When I politely requested a water refill, I received only a nod in response, but the water never came. The bartender continued serving others and made no further contact. Unfortunately, this level of service fell short of what I've come to expect. Every guest should feel acknowledged and cared for, regardless of the time or pace of service. I hope this feedback is taken constructively so that all patrons can continue enjoying the warm hospitality Tower 12 is known for. read more

Came here for the first time last week had been wanting to go sense it opened but it always seemed to packed for me! Luckily the time I came in was during happy hour and was by far the happiest of hours from the food to the beachy vibe and the customer service provided by melody (the girl with the purple hair)! The pretzel knots are to die for and the iron man were amazing! Unfortunately the specialty drinks aren't on happy hour but it's ok cause it was totally worth the price! It was pretty busy but the service provided by melody wasn't anything less then perfect she remained calm always with a smile on her face! Everything was awesome I will definitely be back because of the service alone! I've been to places were the ambiance and food was great but service sucked so I wouldn't go back! By far the best spot in the South Bay! Thank you melody and thank you tower 12 for the amazing food and awesome experience! See you soon! read more

I've been to this bar many times and it used to be my favorite until I met one of the workers and I got her name which is Sydney. She was very rude and made rude comments that were racial slurs towards me and I'm leaving this with you to deal with but I am looking into a lawsuit because this establishment shouldn't have bigots working at such a great bar. She must of been drunk on her shift because the way she was speaking to me and every time we passed each other she would give me dirty looks but was completely nice to white people. I wasn't even drinking yet when this was going on I was just trying to enjoy a good time with my friends. Hiring racists isn't good for business and has the potential for the bar to be sued. Also you shouldn't be letting employees work drunk and can't control themselves when they are drinking. She will obviously deny this but I just can't believe I was treated this way by your employee. read more

I waited to review tower 12 until I had been twice because I heard mixed reviews. I honestly think this place is great, in the midst of all the overcrowded fried food bars along pier avenue Tower 12 sits above and has actually a nice menu that is executed very well. First time we went we had the burrata and prosciutto bruschetta and the poke which were both delicious. This time we shared the bleu cheese burger , heirloom beet salad and our daughter had the grill cheese and tomatoes soup which we both ended up biting into because it was so good. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and checked back often, only thing is she didn't tell us her name so I can't leave it here but she was great and very nice to our kid. Some servers seem over kids before they even get started at the table. We will come back for sure. read more

I would give it zero stars if I could, but I HAVE TO give it one star. Was I drunk? Maybe. Aren't we all at the bar? Yes. Was I too wild? No. Sorry I was having fun at a bar giving y'all establishment some of my money. It was all fun until the doorman said I needed to drink more water, per Justin (the manager) request. Let me get this straight, TOWER 12 straight up kicked me out saying I can come back in an hour after I sobered up a little.... I'm sober now!!! Aren't we like 90% water anyway, f**king Stephen Hawking a** thought they knew more than me. To sum it all up.... I would never go back unless they tryna catch these hands. Y'all know who I'm speaking bout. Worry about the drug problem and cocaine supply rather than someone who speaks on a terrible manager who thinks he is cool. He's not. Get over yourselves. read more

This place is full of fucking assholes who racially profiled my friend and colleague despite the fact that we are physicians with means to pay for our drinks. Me and my friends were racially profiled, not served correctly at this bar, and frankly, treated with the utmost disrespect. This used to be my favorite bar on the pier, but honestly, I would rather drink booze from 7/11 (great chicken salad sandwiches btw) and enjoy myself on the pier than find myself at this bougie-ass establishment meant for the privileged-ass people who don't have any other imagination on Halloween but spending it at Hermosa Beach. THIS PLACE IS RACIST. This incident happened a few months ago and out of curiosity I just checked their yelp page to see if anyone else has experienced anything similar and I'm shocked at how many reviews there are about this place being discriminatory and management doesn't give even care. Went here with my diverse group of friends and they only let in the 3 white people in our group and me (an asian woman). The rest of our group, who were lgbtq and latinx and asian, were denied entry right after us after showing MULTIPLE forms of gov issued ID and their credit cards!! Pretty sure I only got in cause my bf, who is not a poc, was holding me. IF YALL WANT TO BE RACIST BE OPEN ABOUT IT OTHERWISE WE'LL AIR YOUR DIRTY LAUNDRY OUT FOR YOU. read more

Amazing Food, Great Atmosphere! Although we were there on opening weekend and it was packed, the staff was on point! The renovation since this place was Fenners is amazing, and the $5/$6 Happy Hour Appetizers are AMAZING and filling. Best bang for your buck are the happy hour beers, but after that, the IRON MAN, was truly our favorite. Huge Fan of this place already. Dress code after dark is similar to the slightly upscale places in Hermosa such as Ocean Bar. No Boar shorts, Baggy Clothes, or Sports Attire... So if you don't know how to dress classy, there are plenty of other spots on the Pier for ya. Other than that, its an awesome Locals Hangout with Incredible food! read more

Called on Saturday around brunch time to make a reservation or get an estimated wait time. We were very rudely told they don't accept reservations and then hung up on. I called back to ask a wait time and because I didn't say "hello" within a millisecond of the host/waiter answering, I got hung up on again. I tried to call a 3rd time to ask a wait time and got told "umm it's not bad" and when I tried to ask for the host (who was the same person from earlier calls) to elaborate they hung up on me again. I'm not sure what "umm it's not bad" means as far as a wait time but sadly we didn't get to try Tower 12 and have to return back to our home state. read more

Sitting at the bar, received a couple menus for food and drink..... then were forgotten about for a while. A Long While!!! The bar wasn't even very busy at that point. Service needs some work. ...... drinks were good when we finally got them. Food took another 20 plus minutes (a pretzel and kale salad) to get to us. Ordered a second drink and....... Wait for it..... were forgotten once again for over 20 minutes. Ended up closing out shortly thereafter and the bartender asked... ummm do you still want that drink?.... Yeah, right... read more

Watch out for "Armando", he's going to hit on your girls and be a creep. Good spot that I've been to before, but this random dude is a creeper and tries to touch on girls who have been drinking. 5 star spot (great service!) other than this creep zoid. I can't feel comfortable coming back again with my girls if he's still around, sorry man, but it isn't you're "right" to get handsy like that! Racist bar!! This is a white people only bar!! Every time me and my friends try to come here the people that work here are on the most ego/power trip I've ever seen. Relax! Kicked my friend out because they said she had to much to drink when she was just dancing and having fun. Another time they said my friend's ID was fake (were in our late 20's lol) and lastly, they said my friend wasn't allowed in because they smelt alcohol on her. EXCUSES! Racist over rated bar!
