If I could the parts/service department a 0 star rating I would. The staff are not friendly and when you arise your concerns to the Manager he treats it as it is not important. I was turned away from service after having an appointment due to be short on staff then after getting another appointment, I arrived to the second one only to find out that they over booked appointments and the job would take multiple hours to complete. This is by far the worst experience I've had and will no longer be taking my vehicles there for maintenance. I literally drive across town and now take it the Michael Toyota just because they treat their customers with great service and will definitely go over and beyond. 1st problem - Very rude staff inside the parts department. The parts guy made fun of one of the customers waiting in line (after he had paid) for riding a bicycle across the street from his neighborhood to pick up his parts so he could fix his car. I was appalled and walked out. 2nd problem - I was shopping around for a new truck and was quoted OVER MSRP. I asked why it was so expensive, because i couldn't even build one with the online "build your own" feature fully loaded for that price. He had no answer and smirked saying, "its a Toyota i can charge anything i want". I then informed him about Chevrolet and Fords better towing capacity, better payload, and lower price..... his face went white. I walked out. 3rd times a charm- NEVER ever take your car here for anything, unless its under warranty. I had new tires put on (before i knew better) and the workers DID NOT PUT WHEEL WEIGHTS ON to balance the wheels. My car (which is a Toyota) was vibrating like crazy!!!! When I returned to show them, they pretended like I had torn my own wheel weights off. Something like that is VERY dangerous and can end up killing you. Edit: I now go to MICHAEL TOYOTA on Bullard and Blackstone for all my parts and service needs (if i do need to visit a dealer). They are AMAZINGLY nice, respectful and courteous. Context: I have a 2016 Corolla and I have been coming here since summer of 2020 for every oil change and service since it is located so close to my house. A few weeks ago, I went here to get all 4 new tires and Billy was the person who specifically helped me. I waited for about 4 1/2 hours for my tires to be done and he told me that one of my pressure sensors was broken. He tried to put the blame on me and said that it was broken before they installed the new tires but the pressure light never came on before coming to get new tires. So I went home and called my cousin who works at toyota in sacramento and he informed me that this is common and sometimes the mechanic who is installing tires is careless and accidentally breaks the sensor but that usually they pay to repair it. No light popped up for me prior to this day of me getting new tires, but I went home and the TPMS light popped up on my dashboard RIGHT AFTER getting new tires installed.. How convenient huh... So I came back about a week later and I was forced to pay $400 for a new tire pressure sensor that I didn't even break. Keep in mind that I payed just over $1,000 for all 4 new tires already and now they are charging me even more money for something I didnt even break. Turns out that these mechanics are so untrained that they cant even replace a tire without damaging the tire pressure sensor attached to the tire. This is absolutely ridiculous. Im not sure if Billy is the person who was actually working on my car, but he was the one who I spoke with when I pulled up to the service line at toyota of clovis. I would give 0 stars if possible. I've bought 3 cars here since 2004. The last car I purchased was back in 2018, and things have definitely changed from great to terrible. I filled out the online survey with Costco Wholesale Auto Buying Program and that's when my experience went from bad to worse. I had 4 different sales people contacting me to come into the dealership within 48 hours. I went to the dealership on a Saturday to speak with the authorized Costco Sales Representative and was told that "michelle is here but was not available." I ask the sales representative "what should I do?" He said "I can help you, what are you looking for today?" I said "A 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium." He begins to show me a 2024 4Runner right off the bat. He then comes back with a quote for a 2024 4Runner and I see the cost and lack there of Costco Discount and then proceed to ask "Okay, now how much is a 2023 4Runner? He responds by saying "the 2023 4Runners are the same price as the 2024 4Runners." I ended up walking out and called around and found a Toyota Dealership that offered an exceptional Costco discount on a 2023 4Runner and the customer service was excellent. Toyota of Clovis....What happened to your honesty and transparency? You were amazing back in 2018, and now you transformed into a sleazy run of the mill car dealership. Had a deflective headlight replaced two years ago. Had missed the recall. More of a cosmetic fix. Same thing happened. Cracked in same exact spot. Was told to there is only a one year warranty to call customer service. After 10 minutes customer service told me the same thing, one year warranty. Offered no solution past this. Had bought my car there and gone there for 10 years, but no more. Time to buy a brand new Chevy Tahoe! They have improved so much. Looking forward to the change. read more

BEWARE CHECK FOR SAFTEY I want to start of by saying, both Eddie(my salesman) and Marc(the manager) are amazing. they stayed late and made sure I was able to leave with my vehicle. however, that is where the good ends. I drove 4 hours to them to pick up a Subaru WRX. It supposedly passed their "safety inspection" as well as some maintenance items were taken care of. On my way home I started to notice the vehicle drove a bit weird. I work at a Subaru Dealership and had one of my master techs take a look at the overall health of the car. here is what he found 1.dirty and low oil 2. air filters filthy 3. brake rotors were warped 4.brake fluid overfilled 5.clutch fluid underfilled 3. some suspension bolts were replaced with generic bolts, which are very obvious 4. my MAF sensor was held in with wood screws 5.Clutch was almost completely destroyed( I did not notice till about half way home) 6.alignment bolts were replaced with normal bolts(Unsafe) I am completely disappointed in the quality of the vehicle they claim passed their inspection. at Subaru we do similar inspections and something in this poor condition would never be allowed to leave with a customer. the car is in a unsafe and dangerous state. Amazing experience! I scheduled an appointment for wheel locks replacement. When I arrived I was immediately approached by a service representative. I added to wheel rotation and breaks check to the wheel locks replacement. I was told that it should take approximately 1.5 hrs. I went to Home Depot to look for ideas for my house projects. I didn't expect for the service to be done on time based on my previous experience in different places. I was surprised when I received a phone call that my car is ready. Everything was done! The service representative was very knowledgeable, very professional and I felt taken care of. This is a rare experience lately. I don't post any bad or mediocre reviews but I also knew that I am extremely happy with the service and professionalism. I knew that people should know that. At this point I asked for the business card of the representative. His name is Paul Koutsoubos and he was amazing! Thank you for people like him and the service they provide! Spouse's tire sensor lights went out on their Prius. Called and asked for a quote how much it would be to replace. $1,100. Not knowing much about cars I decided to check around and see if that price was consistent at other places. Les Schwab was $300 and America's Tire the same thing. If this isn't theft I don't know what is. The cost of labor they were wanting to charge was $700. I feel sorry for everyone who gets parts replaced here, because they are just throwing their money down the toilet. read more

Im going to give my review an update. I enjoy the servicing provided from this location and decided to give it a second chance. I gave it a star for appointment convenience. I gave it another for allowing me to drop off early. I gave another for the nicest shuttle service and their cashier service. I removed a star for the amount of time I waited. I had my appointment at 12 but I didn't get it until 3:30pm. The other star was removed for the encounter we had for a tire change. I took my 18 year old truck to Toyota of Clovis when the local mechanic gave up on fixing the air bag. This was a difficult to diagnose problem, but the guys there kept at it until it was fixed. They even installed a no longer manufactured part that I found at a junkyard and didn't charge me for labor. While I don't live in Clovis, I took the truck there because of the Yelp reviews. I first became a customer in October 2011 when the rear-hatch door handle on my '01 Toyota Sequoia decided to snap off. When I took it in for the repair they did a full inspection of the car and discovered I had a cracked exhaust manifold. I chose not to fix it at that time since I didn't have the extra money for that work. Well, I decided to finally get that repair taken care of in March 2012. I had called a few other repair shops to make sure the quote my Service Advisor gave me back then was accurate. I called The "other" Toyota dealership located in Fresno and they quoted me $600 more! Other repair shops were right along with my original quote so I went ahead with Bingham Toyota for the repair. I had scheduled my appointment and got set-up with my previous Service Advisor, Kyle Blackmon. My car repair was going to take about 5-6 hours so they set me up in a rental for the day (free of charge). My car was finished in 5 1/2 hours. When I picked up my car, I was shocked to find out I was charged a bit less than the original quote and that Kyle had my car washed and vacuumed. (Kyle even gave my son his personal cheese and crackers that were on his desk when my son spotted them.) Of course we also got free cookies after paying with the cashier. Everyone expects dealerships to charge you a bit more than other repair shops but when you get treated as I had, it makes it worth it. I am pretty certain no other repair shops would have set me up in a free car rental for the day. I have a life and things I need to do while my car is being serviced and I really appreciated that. Was told by the service adviser it would only be 1.5 hour. At 2.5 hour I check with service adviser and car was next to be done! WTF!! Why make appointment?? They don't care!! I came in asking for base model Corolla hybrid I paid my 500 deposit and waited a few weeks for it to arrive. they got me approved for 13% financing so I told them I would ask my bank. I ended up getting 5.99% i told them about it and did the math and even included a few extra thousand incase markups (I understand they got $3000 markups on every car they sell and it's mandatory no ifs ands or butts) so I included it. Then day comes. Ii go in they try to shove financing down my throat even though I have my financing from my bank. (They talk past you not even trying to understand, I've made it clear 3 separate times that I'm going threw my bank) then when they finally realized I had bank loan. They offered to price match the loan. And I said no thank you. Then they offered me lower rates at about 3%. This is just insulting since they just try to force me to accept 13%. Now they offering me as low as 3% I said I will bite the bullet and use my bank loan fixed at 6% then they(I mean the sales manager name Eric in the back ) went and added another!!! Up charge of another 3000 dollars saying it's mandatory after they already did that and I had accounted for the original $3000 up charge!. He said if I don't like it don't buy it. I said I don't like it I just want to use my own loan, then right next to me another sales agent told another customer they selling their vehicle at MSRP and there's no up charge! Right in front of me!!!! I confronted the manager and he said oh that's different and only for specific models but when I was original choosing my models they stated that it's mandatory on all vehicles. They he said he's insulted because Im calling him a lier. I said I'm being lied to. And there's fuckery going on. They gave me paperwork where my chase loan final number had changed and In result my interest rate changed as well. I said this is unacceptable and I wish to contact my bank for them to explain to me why they would increase my interest rate. When I called it was already closed so I notified them I would call them in the morning to get to the bottom of this and I needed a copy of the paperwork they are showing me. They refused to give it to me. So I took a photo. Eric the manager guy got very upset and said they not selling me the car anymore. I got confused and told them I need this to show my bank to see what's going on here and why the % increased. And he said he's insulted about his integrity. He refunded my deposit and on the recite it said reason for backing out is I didn't want the car anymore and that isn't true. I asked him to correct the paperwork because it's a lie. I wanted my bank to confirm and explain why they would change the interest rates and how the final number got larger. He refused to change it. By the time I left he added another hard inquiry to my credit as one last F you to me on the way out, my credit report notified me instantly. I did no approve that credit run. They also tried forcing me to sign 13% financing multiple times and I refused. This has been the worst experience in my life with car dealership. By FAR the worst experience. read more

Come to find out it needs a new engine and the mechanic told me there's no way Toyota didn't know about the problem before selling it to me. On my last visit, none of the employees were wearing masks nor was there a vaccine requirement. I bought my Camry back in September 2017. The sales process was ok, but a bit of a hassle as they kept trying to sell me a car on the lot rather than one with the features I asked for. The salesman disappeared on me a couple of times. I guess it's a sales tactic but I wasn't exactly trying to waste his time in search of a deal. One of those times he went off for 10 minutes and I went to find him sipping an In-n-Out milkshake and claiming to be printing something. Mm-hmm. Anyway, it was fine. Since then I've been in for routine services and I've been really happy with the service here. It's pretty easy to book an appointment online (though there are too many ways to register or log in - just have it search for your phone number!). Both times I've been seen right away and the service reps have been super friendly. The standard routine service was done within 40 minutes both times, and were covered by the warranty. Horrible. I made an appointment for 7:45 am, just for an alignment and had a TPS already installed that just needed to be reprogram (not an aftermarket pressure sensor), took them 6 hours to get my car back to me, after I was just done with a 12 hour shift, so I've been up for over 18 hours at this point. So for the first four hours there, I was wondering what was taking them so long, and was getting sleep deprived so was getting cranky. Went to look for the sales person (Billy Vang), great guy at selling you things. Being tired as I was, I believe I got taken advantage of, my mind just wanted some sleep and I just agreed to whatever they were telling me to get the job done (my fault), ended up spending over $400. First, they said alignment was done, but they were having problem with programming the sensor I had, said I would need a new one. I agreed. Then after that one, it worked! But now there was another issue with the other sensor, said I would need to get another one! I said just do what you got to, I'm tired, I need to go home. And then they come and showed me a sensor that was broken and said that was the issue. I said ok. And then they come and said a 3rd sensor is broken now, that I'll have to replace. At this point, it's the 5th hour in. Then they showed me another broken sensor with just the needle. I said wth, 3? I was already so tired, I just said go ahead and do what you got to do (my fault). Then after another hour, my car was fixed! After 6 hours, I was done close to 2pm. After getting some sleep, I just remembered my brother (he works on cars) said none of my sensors were broken, he replaced my tires and not one was broken, only one needed to be reprogrammed, because it was a new one. Now that I'm writing this, I just been had, and was sold $300 of things I didn't need. Dealerships are smart! And I just remembered that if the sensor were broken apart like the ones they showed me, I would've heard the pieces juggling inside my tires. I just lost money for things they probably didn't replace!!! Be careful if you ever need something repaired. Go to your own personal mechanic if you have one, and know what exactly needs to be fixed.
