Holy Schmoly this TJ'a takes the cake for the nicest one I've ever been in!! It seems FAR bigger than any TJ's I've been to but that could just have been my AWE. Stopping into this location in Medford before going to California for Thanksgiving was a great idea. Not only did we get what I needed but we definitely got a bit more. The employees were regular friendly not overly. The store was orderly despite the mass onslaught of pre-Thanksgiving shoppers. And the artwork in this location is FABULOUS. Love ALL of the gorgeous PNW art!! I'll be back onky next trip to California!!

nice flavor no soy you can microwave too in paper towels package leaked smell in freezer(sealing)?

Food Variety Service Always chill but quick Ambiance It can be quite bizzy at this location But everyone is aware of others And polite The parking lot is crazy the layout is A bit congested and if you have to cross it inside I feel I'm in the game frogger (I have not however been squished) So that's good It is clean on the outside and inside There are bathrooms but I would avoid it it is always had an ick factor (unless you're desperate) But everything else is awesome experience with cool employees that are very helpful and plenty items shelved I grabbed all the new different bags available this year

Try some sweet Fall treats! @ Trader Joe's.

Great Selection of Fall Favorites! @ Trader Joe's in Medford, OR. If you need help getting into the Fall Season, make your way to this festive store! Wonderful variety and picturesque pumpkin scene at entrance for all to enjoy. They're fully stocked with great sweet and savory goodies. Stock up on your seasonal favorites because they go through them rather quickly! Many employees on hand to assist. Great place to grab, checkout, and be on your way.

This is my second year coming up this way for school at SOU. This year I'm staying part of my time up in Medford. This TJs is great! Spaced out well! Good parking. Friendly staff! But the best is I can get all the things I love at home, but here! Especially my favorite vegan buffalo dip! I can't get enough of it. Yes, other things tool, but that dip with the tortilla chips and/or baby carrots...sooooooo good!

Really an overrated chain store with the Yuppies. Haven't they noticed how much of their brand foods are heavily processed?

Ask the Community - Trader Joe's

    Do they sell hard liquor?

No grocery store of any kind sells hard lliquor, only beer and wine. Oregon and Washington both only sell hard liquor in designated liquor stores.

They have a great bulk section as well. I always check out the meat department but I don't usually purchase because the prices appear to be higher than anywhere else except the Neiman-Marcus of Southern Oregon, Ashland Food Co-Op. I don't typically purchase meat there either because the prices are even higher unless something is on sale and it's something I need. I love the charming acquaintance of MFC, payed lime green and purple and nestled back in tall beautiful trees and greenery. The feeling when I pull into that parking lot is incredibly soothing -- and it's right on Riverside Drive. Go figure? Everyone who works at MFC is kind, warm, and welcoming. They're also really helpful if I have a question or I need something that they might not sell regularly or I just can't find it in the store. I never have a long wait at checkout because they understand service and a cashier comes up to the front immediately when there is anyone waiting to check out. Very, very impressive! Another thing that I really appreciate is that the store is always spotless and organized as well as 100% organic. I don't have to worry about buying something, driving home, and discovering that I purchased conventional food which I do not eat. MFC generally has the things that I want to purchase and it's very easy for me to efficiently pop in by what I need and get back on the road to finish my errands and go home. I probably shop here three times a week, maybe more because I love to buy things fresh. Please keep up the good work, folks. My husband and I really appreciate you!!!

I visited this location as someone who doesn't live in the area and was shocked to see that the prices are way higher than regular Costco and are equal to or sometimes even a dollar or two more than just buying the exact product at Walmart or Fred Meyer. For the price of 1 loaf of Franz gluten-free bread, $7.79 for less than a dollar more I could go to Costco and get 2 loaves of Canyon Bakehouse gluten-free bread. 14 oz Tajin is $7.99. I can buy the exact same size from Walmart for $6.98. Here, 19 oz Mae Ploy canned coconut cream is $3.49 a can. Walmart online sells it individually and as a 6 pack for $2.58 per can. $3.59 for American Beauty 8 oz manicotti shells here. It's $3.49 at Fred Meyer in Medford. 16 ounces of jumbo Campfire marshmallows here are $3.39 whereas 16 oz Kraft Jet Puffed marshmallows are $2.99 at Fred Meyer in Medford. $8.69 for 24 Flav-R-Pac frozen corn cobettes or $2 for 6 Great Value frozen corn cobettes at Walmart. $14.19 for 2.125 lbs dried hash brown shreds here. Same size at Costco is $8.99. Costco sells in-store and ships #10 sized canned products so I'm confused why people are shopping here when the prices aren't wholesale, they're often slightly higher than retail at the local Fred Meyer and Walmart. There aren't many specialty products here for varied diets or cuisines, so if you're needing gluten-free or something more diverse than soy sauce or tortillas, you're going to need to order from elsewhere. I ended up buying a box of True Lemon (they didn't have the True Lime I came for.) Visited October 2024.

I do want to acknowledge the Meat and Deli employees, who were genuinely helpful and kind. They're the only reason this store earns two stars instead of one. My first interaction was with someone I assume was a manager. It took repeating "excuse me, sir" three times to get his attention, and I was treated as an inconvenience while he continued organizing shelves. From a management perspective, the interaction lacked professionalism and basic leadership. He ended up redirecting me to another employee to help me. I prefer self-checkout because I'm rated on bagging through Instacart, and I take that seriously unfortunately (maybe slight OCD some would say). As I entered self-checkout, the employee made a condescending remark about the size of my order, called over another worker, and then that "manager" joined them. All three stood together, leaning and staring in my direction as I checked out. You needed three? I told them all to have a wonderful night as I left, only one waved back. Please stare harder next time, please remember my face or get a life.

For example, Freddy's is one of the rare places in town that consistently sells super high-quality Baby Gem lettuce AND for a very competitive price. Bless their hearts, they also sell organic orange cherry tomatoes well into the winter when no one else does and they taste wonderful!!! Because the grocery store is primarily conventional, I shop here very carefully. My husband and I only eat organic food and I don't want to mistakenly purchase something I think is organic and drive home with it only to find out that it is conventional. I don't shop in any other part of this really huge store but I do value the grocery section. They have an excellent selection of artisan cheese, olives, and lots of other things that are pretty hard to get up here in Southern Oregon. I find that the people who work here are consistently very warm and friendly, which I very much appreciate. It makes doing my errands is a great deal more pleasurable. And, I also really appreciate that I get points for what I purchase in the grocery section which we apply to purchasing gas at Freddy's. My husband says that Costco and Fred Meyers have the most competitive prices for gas consistently so that's where we buy our gas Thank you very much for all that you do. Please keep doing it!!!

Four hours before closing they blocked off the fitting rooms with chairs and refused use. Then found they had closed all but one register in groceries and waited a very long time. When I said it was wrong to close the fitting rooms, the checker said "you can bring them back". Uh...ya, at $5 a gallon and a couple hours of my time.
