The tempura was okay. My friend had the pork cutlet rice bowl--the cutlet wasn't crispy, and the sauce was poured directly on top instead of being served on the side as we requested. So neither of us finished our food and we left. Fun fact: Tempura, though it's deep-fried, actually has the second-lowest calorie count among all Japanese dishes. So what's the lowest? Sorry, I forgot. A long time ago, Japan was considered the end of the continent, so many things that made their way there were seen as reaching the ultimate destination. Instead of asking what happened or attempting to understand the situation, they immediately accused me of being untruthful. How a business responds to criticism says a lot about its approach to customer service. I told her I was not and she kept saying "oh, really? It's not you?!" Even though I explained I wasn't. Based on the lack of hospitality alone, I will not be returning. And that's very unfortunate because I just moved nearby. Incorrect on all of your response. And next time you use a.i. to reply to a guest, make sure you tweak it to not sound so fake. When I walked in you were rude and cold and looked me up and down. When I ordered the steak addition, you said it would cost extra, I said I still wanted it, you said again it would be another $17 I said I didn't care. It should have died there. When I went to pay to leave you asked if I went by an abbreviation of my name, I said yes, you said you had a non pickup under the same abbreviated name. And when I said it wasn't me you kept asking if I was sure as if I don't know whether I ordered food or not. Next time you call someone's review fake, don't use a fake computer program to respond, and do it yourself.
