Great, cheap all day and night happy hour! Sushi is good for the price, service is quick and staff is always friendly.

Arrived after 9pm and there were just a few customers. We were told that happy hour is all day long. This is amazing! Ordered Bad Boy roll, Seattle Crunch roll, Sushi Set Gold, Sweet Potato tempura, and Reihnas Ribs. I always prefer warm sushi over cold one. Bad Boy and Seattle Cunch here were very delicious. I also liked the sweet potato tempura. $46 for three people is quite reasonable. read more

All day happy hour. Which I guess isn't technically hour if it's all day every day (literally). But who cares! I've been here about a dozen times throughout the past 2 years. Although the prices went up recently-ish, they were uncommonly low before, so the new prices are about right for the area. Service is generally pleasant, although it's been up and down. Most recently we had a somewhat unpleasant experience with just one waiter who got our order wrong and ignored or forgot our requests for more water, new chopsticks, etc. The food quality is excellent and consistent, so the review remains 4 stars. Started coming here after blue c closed, food is good but service sucks. Got sat in the back got service once and was able to order a drink, miso soup, and edamame. Tried to get the servers attention multiple times and even had the menu closed on the table server came back with edamame and put the menu on the seat and just walked away. Tried to get her attention again to order what we actually came for... sushi.... never got her attention. Took her over 20 mins to see us waiving a card at her yo pay the bill so we can leave and get some actual service. read more

This is the Sushi bar that I frequent the most. There's nothing outstanding about the place - no crazy rolls - but just a solid set of sushi choices that's always fresh. In other words they don't try to overextend themselves and get it done right. The Korean chicken is also quite nice. While I've only actually eaten once at the restaurant (primary choice is call in for takeout), the restaurant / bar always seems to have a decent but not too crowded feel. read more

Reasonably priced for good sushi near Green Lake. My first visit was on a Friday evening - they were packed but seated us fairly quickly at the sushi bar. The service was great. The atmosphere was suitable for happy hour, dimly lit, and their decor follows suit. Most recently visited last Monday night and their overhead lights were GLARING! If you plan to visit on a less busy night, I would think twice unless you want to bring sunglasses. read more

Nice waitress. Love the decor. They keep old school martial arts films rolling on the tv screens while you eat. Sushi was good. I ordered the bronze sushi set and spicy yellowtail roll. This place is great for consistent, reasonably priced sushi. Fun to come on a weeknight or a weekend date night. The owners are really nice and truly care about customers being happy with the service and quality of food being served. The salmon is always consistently great, as are rehana's ribs and their agedashi tofu. I'm in love with sushi, and I usually hit at least one sushi spot in every city I go to. Japanesa Sushi was superb, beyond the sushi I've had before (which is a lot)! Fresh, innovative sushi, tasty, service was perfect, and the rice ice cream they've got is the icing on the cake. I'm just glad this sushi place is in the same city I live in. Love this go-to spot for a sushi fix. The all day happy hour makes it fun to try tons of dishes at once at an affordable price. Huge sushi fan here. Everything about Tsui is 5 star, the music, the decor, the ambience, and most importantly, the sushi. I refuse to eat at any other sushi haven in Seattle. When you arrive to Tsui, ask for the seared hamachi (I think it was called hamachi tatki). It's the GOAT of the menu. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Tried this place on a whim and man was I impressed!! All sushi is reasonably priced plus they have a wide range of options available. The Sparkling Peach Jelly Sake is a must!!! Their happy hour menu is basically their regular menu. Everything on here is very reasonably priced with just enough portion size to satisfy most people. However, the quality and flavor weren't so impressive! We tried their chicken karaage, spider roll and tuna roll. The chicken was very hard and wasn't particularly juicy as it's supposed to be. Spider roll has tempura crab, avocado and cucumber, but the tempura wasn't crunchy or fresh. Tuna roll was just meh as well. read more

Went for dinner again tonight. My 5th or 6th time at Tsui. A few things make Tsui the best neighborhood sushi bar in the greenlake area. First, the owner is awesome and you will get a chance to talk to him. Second, the new sushi chef Jake is a master sushi chef. He picks and prepares the cuts that will melt in your mouth. We were first timers so we didn't know That they've changed the place to Tsui's sushi bar. We sat down in the Car for a moment Coz We weren't sure If we should Go ahead and try the place as we were originally looking for the Thurston's tapas bar but I'm glad we did try it! Dog friendly and such good food!! Mat was awesome. He was attentive to us and my dog, even offering her a water bowl. A great server!! All the fish was fresh and had good flavor. Went today with four friends for the Happy Hour Sushi. FABULOUS! Shortly after we were seated we each were treated to a complementary a piece of Kani (snow crab) sushi that was glazed and cooked perfectly ...a wonderful start! We then enjoyed the Spicy Tuna Roll ($5), Spicy Yellowfin Roll ($7), Spicy California Roll ($6) and Spider Roll ($7)...all were very fresh and flavorful. Portions are generous and the prices are a crazy good value! Also enjoyed a bottle of wine and a Berri Yami cocktail consisting of a blackberries, vodka, lime juice, simple syrup and soda...very nice. The service was very warm, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant space is also lovely. They have also started offering takeout, which we most definitely will take advantage. We definitely will return. Great addition to the neighborhood! read more

So, we made reservations and they clearly were confused as to who we were and what we were doing. They fumbled around and sat us in the back by the bathrooms. No big deal, but I know from experience this space gets ignored more so than the other areas. They asked about drinks and I watched as the glass of Rosé sat for at least five to ten minutes before it was brought to us. The appetizers were the only redeeming quality in our experience. The salmon belly was perfectly cooked and prepared. I wish I could cook salmon like that at home. The Takoyaki is also some of my favorite. But the rolls were very so so. They used to be acclaimed for their "happy hour" but the prices are very Seattle now as every roll with substance is $9 or more. Happy hour is not a thing here considering their menu is only getting higher in price, they need to take that off of their menu. Overall I used to enjoy their rolls and the quality of their food in general but it's just not as good anymore. The service is also really pretty bad which is a bummer. I actually made a note to see if our server would ever smile and she did not, not even one single time. Again, no bid deal. But it's been consistently bad for years. Not sure why everyone here is so unhappy but they do need to do some quality control. read more

We got take out from Tsui and were seriously impressed. Every roll we tried was more delicious than the last. I highly recommend the scallop roll, and the White Tiger special roll.
