Fried chicken, seafood soup and beef ribs. We enjoyed it a lot.
    Olivia G.

First time ordering delivery from this restaurant. We got the original fried chicken, seafood soup and the beef ribs plate. They were all good! The original fried chicken was the best, cooked very well. It all came with side of pickled daikon, kimchi and japchae. I have to try the other dishes when I dine in next time.

I have to say, this spot really impressed me right from the moment I walked in, the staff were super welcoming and assisted me immediately, which set a great tone for the whole visit. We ordered the 18 wings Yang Nyum chicken, and every single piece was packed with flavor. The sauce had that perfect sticky, sweet, and spicy combo, and the chicken itself stayed super juicy. We also tried the japchae, which came loaded with beef, veggies, and egg plus a very generous amount of noodles. It was one of those dishes where you can tell they don't hold back on ingredients or portion size. They also had a BOGO deal on their fried mandoo, and those dumplings ended up being such a good surprise. Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the dipping sauce really pulled everything together. The total came out to around $79 with tax for all three items, which is a little on the pricier side, but honestly felt worth it considering the quality and portions. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Grabbing a quick bite to eat before heading to the movies! This was so good! I noticed a lot of people ordered online, probably a good idea, but since this was our first time, we decided to order when we arrived. We had the crispy chicken with the garlic sauce and also ordered Jab Chae. The crispy chicken was absolutely perfect, crunchy and full of flavor, the Jab Chae was such a big bowl and perfectly seasoned. The inside looks small, but there are four tables that can seat 4-6 people and a few tables for 2 people. They also offer a water station. Definitely will be back

This place satisfies the Korean food crave aside from Hot pot style. Located conveniently across from Knee Deep brewing Chicken bulgogi is super tender and the japchae. Mandoo and kimchee side ties it altogether! Kim Chee fried rice is not as spicy as it looks but a nice complement to any entree. The new Gochu mayo fried chicken was tasty and spicy so beware! Our order was ready in 15 minutes and packed carefully in takeout containers. We usually stop in when feeling thirsty for Knee deep brewing! Cheers!

Saturday, 6/21/2025 - Tried TTObongee Korean Fried Chicken. Address is 2791 E Bidwell St, Unit 1100, Folsom, CA 95630. This is located in a large shopping plaza with lots of parking. Upon arrival..... Pros 1) I saw tables outside and people eating outside. There are tables inside. We were the only ones inside eating. 2) There was an order kiosks right by the exit door or you can walk up to the cashier and order there. Cashier was very nice. We ordered and paid, then wait for our foods. They bring it to your table. 3) they also have party trays to order. 4) the foods we ordered were good. Maip Dak Chicken was a little too sweet for my liking, but it's still good. Tempura shrimp and Sodduk Sodduk were good. 5) water tasted fine. Cons 1) none 2) Conclusion Cute little restaurant. Simple. Easy to order, eat and go. Cashier was nice. She took our order and brought the foods to the table. There are plenty of stores in that area to shop after you eat here.

Picked a random spot, best decision ever on a late Thursday evening. Absolutely loved the food, authentic East Asian food, service was efficient. The tables were so clean, bathrooms were spotless. Definitely will be coming here when craving for kimichi!

    Spicy pork Dosirak

I'm so excited and happy that they now serve Dosiraks (bento boxes) The young lady that always answers the phone is super friendly and helpful. She remembers my name and has excellent customer service. The food is very authentic Korean and delicious! Highly recommend this Korean restaurant!

    Bibimbap
    Alan C.

4 1/2 out of five stars.. I love a good bibimbap, so when I saw that this place had it on the menu, I decided to do a DoorDash. The food arrived quick, and it was a good temperature. I started with the mandu dumplings, which are like a fried potsticker. They were delicious. Nice and crunchy, they had a good amount of delicious filling, and I liked the dipping sauce that it came with. The bibimbap was amazing. The beef was tender, the veggies were not overly done, and the rice was a perfect texture. It was delicious! The only hitch, and the only reason I'm taking off a half a star, it's because again, the egg was overdone. You are supposed to be able to pop the yolk, so it drips down into the food. It didn't happen here. It's a minor glitch. Other than that, though, the food was amazing. I didn't care for the hot sauce that came with it, but I did like the Korean pickled veggies that it came with. Very good. Maybe next time, instead of ordering delivery, I will check out the restaurant. Thanks for a great meal.

I've been several times now, and even brought a group for one of my veggie UYEs to enjoy it. Each time, the food is delicious and we leave stuffed and satisfied. The Veggie AYCE option ends up being about $25 with tax, which is a pretty good value. Appetizers and dessert are also included! The vegan broth options are tomato and my personal favorite, mushroom. Unlike most hotpot places that only have ramen noodles that contain egg, Tao's also offers udon and rice noodles in addition to the traditional ramen. Nice! Tons of veggies, including favorites King Oyster & Seafood mushrooms and daikon. Also, both fresh and fried tofu for extra plant-based protein. Condiments and sauces are self serve, as well as side dishes like seaweed salad. Tao's definitely has the variety and the set up is convenient. Staff is friendly and on it. I haven't had to chase down servers, which I appreciate. Highly recommend!!

We were seated right away, but no one asked if we had been there before or explained how the dining experience worked. Luckily, we are very familiar with Shabu Shabu. We were a party of two adults and two children. We ordered several appetizers and chose the Kobe beef option. The first thing brought to the table was two small plates of raw beef, each with roughly 6-8 rolled slices. We then waited about 10 minutes for the vegetables, followed by another 10 minutes before the broth finally arrived. It seemed very odd to serve raw meat well before the broth needed to cook it. Rice came shortly afterward, but service remained very slow. It took another 10-15 minutes before anyone came back around so we could request more meat. When the next order arrived, it was one plate with maybe 15 slices to share between four people. We immediately asked to place another order. At that point, our waitress appeared visibly annoyed. She walked over to a coworker and began speaking animatedly in another language. Of course, we have no idea what was being discussed, but given the timing, it made us uncomfortable and feel as though we had done something wrong simply by requesting additional meat. After that, she largely stopped servicing our table and two other employees began helping us instead. Service throughout the remainder of the meal was very inconsistent. All four of our waters were empty at one point, and we rarely felt checked on. The food itself was okay. The Kobe beef was good quality, but the rice was dry and hard. The biggest issue was how difficult it felt to place additional orders at an all-you-can-eat Shabu restaurant. Our receipt showed that our family of four ordered 11 plates total, so we were certainly not ordering an unreasonable amount. For approximately $150, the overall experience simply was not worth it. There are much better Shabu restaurants in the Sacramento area. They may be a longer drive for us, but after this experience, the extra drive is absolutely worth it.

The gyoza tasted good but was just a bit harder than we'd like. For the main meal, I ordered a bento box with nigiri sushi and tempura, while the others chose a salmon teriyaki bento box and a Spicy Yellowtail Roll. My nigiri tasted fresh and nicely prepared. I also tried a piece of the Spicy Yellowtail Roll and found it to have a nice flavor profile. The salmon teriyaki was clean and sweet, with a natural salmon flavor, and was tender and juicy. The portions were generous, making for a satisfying meal, and everyone enjoyed their food, although my companions thought the tempura was a bit too oily. Despite the slightly firm gyoza and oily tempura, the good sake, generous portions, and relaxed atmosphere made for a very enjoyable lunch. The highlight for me was sipping the remaining sake and enjoying the nigiri.

The customer service was highly efficient and friendly, ensuring that I felt taken care of from the moment I walked through the door until I finished my meal. For my dinner, I decided to try the Plate 2 Combo featuring a mix of short rib and fried shrimp. When the platter arrived, it was clear to me that the kitchen team truly excels at preparing their proteins. The short ribs were an absolute standout because they were incredibly tender, perfectly marinated, and cooked to a flawless consistency that easily pulled away from the bone. The fried shrimp were equally impressive in flavor and execution. Even though they were curled and fried into a somewhat funny, unconventional shape, they were battered beautifully, boasting a satisfyingly crispy exterior while remaining juicy and flavorful on the inside. Unfortunately, the high standards set by the main courses did not carry over to the rest of the plate. The accompanying sides felt like an afterthought and ultimately let down my entire culinary experience. The white rice was notably dry and lacked fluffiness, though it became much more palatable once I generously drizzled it with their savory, sweet teriyaki sauce. The biggest disappointment of the night, however, was the macaroni salad. It was completely bland, lacking any distinct seasoning, tang, or rich creaminess to tie the dish together. Bottom line: this restaurant serves up incredibly tasty, high-quality meats that are absolutely worth ordering, but the uninspired, lackluster sides unfortunately dragged down the potential of my overall meal.

Especially when the restaurant has a nontraditional method for ordering. We ordered a beer from the ~one~ human trying to fill roles of host, server, busser and cashier (which in and of itself is ridiculous and too much to ask of a single employee). Then we got excited for all of the many offerings in their extensive menu. We start ordering via the pad and had to show some restraint to not get too much directly from the kitchen, which is in addition to whatever is moving around the revolving "belt" that snakes its way by the ~13 tables available for customer use in the restaurant (several other tables were stacked with supplies and seemed to just be used for storage). And then we waited. We watched roll after roll sent out of the kitchen to one table in particular on their fairly cool automated conveyor system. Unique. Fun even! But man, that table was getting all the love. I guess they finish their tickets one table at a time rather than sending out a few items to each table to get people enjoying food throughout their visits. OK. After another 20 minutes of waiting, we inquired about our order. At that point (seriously, nearly 40 minutes after walking in the front door), the single staff told us that we had to hit the "send order" button on the pad. (I know. Obvious enough but I missed it and no one took time to spend 30 seconds telling us how to use their system.) None of our order had even been received by the kitchen let alone started. At this point, I was ready to pay for our beer and leave, but the husband talked me down. So we waited even longer, and eventually our meal started arriving, plate by plate. The food was really quite tasty. The shrimp tempura was yummy, served piping hot and we liked the addition of the crunchy noodles underneath. The rolls were good, although one was torched but wasn't under the torched menu, which was less than ideal since we'd already ordered one torched roll. The hamachi nigiri was fresh. The offerings on the belt were not very appetizing, made worse by someone having put back on the belt an empty, dirty plate of one of the desserts, which circulated during most of our visit. Gross. Lastly, nearly every surface was sticky and/or dirty. The screen of the ordering pad was gross. Under our table was so sticky the soles of my shoes were sticking to the floor. Just ick. If all of the other issues were set aside, I would likely consider returning. But honestly, there are plenty of great sushi places that have great customer service and would never leave a table unchecked for 10-20 minutes at a time. While I feel for the single staffer who said, "I'm really busy" (trying to do all the things that more than one person should be doing), I'm just not into excuses. This place clearly does not prioritize customer service. I won't be back.
