Rice, Chicharrones, beans and coffee $13 for all
    Amy C.

I stopped by for coffee and lunch cause my car was next door getting done. I picked up a lunch box meal with white rice, chicharron and some beans. I also ordered a coffee. Everything was $13. Not bad at all. Of course I couldn't finish everything so I have another meal for later. I think the AC was broken for today though. It was hot inside. But good food.

I really enjoy this food. Anytime i am in this area, i stop here for food whether i am hungry or not. Very flavorful food. This is a Dominican Restaurant served cafeteria style i would say (like chipotle). Prices are very good compared to the amount of food you get. This establishment speaks both Spanish and English and the food is authentic. I usually get the white rice, pinto beans, plantain and shredded beef. Everytime i get this meal, the food has been very tasty. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

The inside has plenty of seating and the dood is served assembly-line style but they also have cooked to order options. I got a bacon egg and cheese and it was tasty. The portion sizes are large and the tres leches cake is DELICIOUS! I am only docking a star because it took 30 mins to make my breakfast sandwich even though there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. I had to remind the lady I was still waiting, I think they may have forgotten to make my sandwich. I would still return!

Was looking for a traditional Dominican breakfast on the go and this did not disappoint! Ready-made food is still nice and warm, I ordered the "tres goldpes" which is mangu with pickled onions, fried salami, fried cheese and a fried egg. This was about $10. Overall I'd say prices were good for the amount of food served! The restaurant had lots of seating with a family friendly environment and high chairs available. The service was very friendly!

This is a greta joint if you are in the mood for latin cuisine. Everything on the food bar is always moving, so you know the food haven't been sitting for a long time. Portions are always generous. And the renovations make the place look really nice too.

Wow. Generous servings that was a great introduction to Dominican cuisine with items we tried for the first time that were so delicious and wholesome, all for a fair price. There are different plate options that allow you to customize your plate. We also got a Cuban sandwich that did not skimp on the meat, but I wish had more sauce. Our dessert of choice was probably the best tres leches I've ever had- a delicate and moist cake with just the right amount of sweetness that wasn't too sugary. Its a no-frills establishment that's straight to the point; great cuisine and fast turnaround time. There's also ample seating.

Only 2 little bacon on a 12"sandwich. Never again blt

Don't EVER trust their sandwiches. First of all why Orlando never had regular sliced bread? 2nd BLT had 2 strips of bacon, a baby piece of lettuce on a 12" loaf of bread, super dry and disrespectful!

So the amount of times I have driven past this place on a daily basis but not stop by...is very mind boggling to me! I recently had the opportunity to finally try out this place for lunch and it definitely was a solid option. The restaurant is located on a small strip mall on OBT and from the outside it definitely looked smaller than what actually was on the inside. The restaurant had a good amount of seating and looked very bright and clean with very homey decor. When you first enter into the door it takes you directly into the waiting line where you pick and choose the items you want "cafeteria style". They had every traditional dish you could think of including different rices and meats to choose from! Me being the indecisive person that I am...could not make up my mind. I ended up getting multiple things. For my entree, I got the pernil (pork) , arroz con gandules and yucca. I also got a side of pastelon (plantain dish) and the seafood salad.... oh and let's not forget about the guava and cheese pastry for dessert! Everything that I had was actually pretty good! Now I'm alway cautious when it comes to places that serve "cafeteria style"....just because sometimes the food sits there for a while and gets hard and cold... but that wasn't the case here! My standouts had to be hands down the pastelon and guava and cheese pastry. Those two items, I would definitely go out of my way to return to get. The other items were just pretty standard and got the job done. Overall, I really enjoyed this spot! The folks here were super nice and helpful. Even though there was a little bit of a language barrier, they were super attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely stop by this spot again the next time I'm in the area.

Good Food, ample seating area. Food available as take out or eat in. Served huge portions. Daily specials. My love said he loved the sweet potato which was, in fact, a maduro . The service is good completely given behind counter. I'm just a stickler for hot food and kept requesting to serve from the bottom because the top look dry and cold. First visit but would consider elsewhere for variety.

Arroz Con Gandules, sweet plantains, potato salad

If you're in the Orlando area you need to stop by Tu Casa Restaurant. I got the arroz con gandules, the sweet plantains, pork chops. And as the sides I got the potato salad, their avocado salad and ceviche. I must all of it was so good. The service was also fast and if you want you can also eat there, they have seating inside or you can grab your delicious food to go.

The wait is very long and the customer service is bad. The food is good but with all other competitors is not worth it.

Great puertorican style food. The place is like a cafeteria, you see all the available food and order, pay and eat. Super Rico!

My food arrived hot, fresh, and delicious. The portion size was large enough for me to eat for a little over 2 meals. The food was seasoned just right without the over-seasoning I've experienced at other Caribbean style restaurants. I did not visit the physical location so I can't speak to the ambience but I will say that I throughly enjoyed my meal and would recommend Flavors of Jamaica without hesitation.

Craving carribean oxtails and read the reviews on yelp…read more This is located at Kissimmee on Osceola pkwy area in a shopping plaza. Its kind of a challenge getting parking here I guess cause its a weekend and its a busy day to go. Upon entering the music of reggae / carribean music is playing its looked clean. Few tables and bar seating available. There is a section to point and see the array of foods they prepared but this day alot of the foods were covered in lids. I guess its a way to keep foods warm while sitting on the hot steam plate. The oxtail large plate was $25 with 2 sides plus choice of rice. Its a popular dish because when the lady tried to scoop oxtails all she had left in the pan was gravy. She went to the back and got more oxtails. She gave about 8 pcs of mixed sized oxtails. mostly large / medium sizes. She was "Careful" adding gravy and the oxtails as if she was counting how many drips of gravy and how many oxtails she was going to place in the plate - Also she was counting how many sweet plantains she was serving as a side. She gave me about 4-5 pcs of plantains. Seeing this I told her I want the cabbage in a separate container (Since she was careful with giving out the portions) - She then said its going to be $5 for the cabbage since its on a separate container. I was fine with it - even with the cabbage she was careful filling the container to the rim. This is why I decreased a star - Cabbage is cheap and plantains is cheap - Why so careful with these sides? I am paying a $25 plate - It should show that is how much food I am paying for. I am not sure if she was the owner (Light skinned older lady) - If she is then she should not be that cheap with portions especially on a high priced tag plate on her menu. They had array of fresh made juices I am unsure if they make them or they have a vendor - But they offered "Peanut Punch". Arizona cans (Tall) are $1 - I think those are the cheapest drink you can get in there. I saw someone just went in there and bout a few cans of arizona cans only. Jamaican patties are $3 - they offer curry and jerk chicken, mild, spicy. They had sold out of the mild patty - So I opted for the curry chicken patty. I asked about "Peanut porridge" that I read on yelp that was available only on weekends - But the lady asked me if I meant "peanut punch".. I was not sure but she said the Peanut Punch was $5. I asked for the frozen bottle since I had no plans on drinking the drink until a few days later. Let's talk about the food - Oxtails - The meats were fall off the bone and the gravy was thick and savory - however I think the taste - I like Golden crust gravy better as in taste. Golden crust gravy had more umami but this gravy is not bad - It was just kind of thick for my liking. The oxtails were def delicious though. Tender meat and like I said fall off the bone. Rice and Peas - This rice had a subtle coconut milk flavor in the rice itself - little sprinkles of the peas (beans) not much - It was ok rice .. It was dry for my liking - The oxtail gravy helped moistened the rice. Sweet Plantains - These were delicious. Sliced slanted and had the good amount of chew and sweetness. Just like the rice - Plantains are plantains they are either soggy or firm or just the right bite. Cabbage - These were ok - they were slightly bitter and overcooked. Somewhat too soft soggy cabbage. It had hints of sliced carrots - It needed more broth and black pepper taste to them. Curry chicken patty - These were delicious. The patty dough was delicious. The curry chicken was shredded chicken in curry and the hint of spice kicks in towards the bottom of the patty. No wonder they sell alot of the patties - They are delicious. I have not tried the peanut punch as yet - But I will update review once I do taste the drink.
