I'll start with the good for this restaurant. Location is convenient, decor is modern and reflex. Peruvian and Italian influences... It works. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We came early, so there was no issue with volume of traffic. So a note to management, the menu you have on Yelp is several years older. The price is are very attractive, but sadly not the prices you have today. I would change that. We started out with a Caesar, and to be frank, it was nothing special. Didn't have enough dressing on it, not enough. Croutons and the salad quality was just okay. My wife got the lobster ravioli, she had seen a photo of it with a minimum of sauce. When her entree arrived, the ravioli was swimming in sauce. My fettuccine a la huancayna was not good. The sauce had a weird taste to it and seem to be drenched in butter. The crispy prosciutto are really pancetta. I asked for chicken on the dish, and the chicken quality was not great. Again, a previous photo showed crispy pieces of chicken that looked terrific. My Pollo was tasteless. If you come here, focus on the Peruvian food. They don't have the Italian down. The staff here is Latino/a - stick to the ceviche and the Latino dishes. read more

Food, service and ambience 15 stars! Stopped in for lunch after drop off at the Transportation Center - parked on Main Street. Luckily a placard pointed us in the direction of a charming little restaurant - casual elegance, and a nice respite from the souvenir shops. Our server recommended the Pisco Sour (light and refreshing for a little easy day drinking) and Peruvian ceviche. Surprise! We also enjoyed complementary bruschetta!!! In a word - sublime. Delicately seasoned - perfection. Then, we shared a lemony Caesar salad and tender crab cakes that compares with or exceeds any I've had (last year traveled to Baltimore - home of the crab cake.) Had the Lamb Osso Bucco, and was quite impressed. Lamb shank very tender and came off the bone easily. Risotto great flavor, but personally risotto can do without white kidney beans. We waited over 1 hour for our food (seated at 7:30 and ate at 9). - Ceviche- flavor was not soaked into the fish - Paella- the 1/2 lobster looked like the meat had been scraped off and used for another dish as there was barely any meat on it (see photo). My wife and I stumbled upon this gem of a resteraunt while in Hyannis. Absolutely outstanding!! I had the tuna ceviche for a starter, it was so fresh and seasoned perfectly, then the steak tips with chimichurri. We stopped in for lunch mid week and no one was there. However, having read great reviews, we opted to give it a try. We were not disappointed! Our waitress greeted and seated us promptly, brought waters and soon after complementary bruschetta while we perused the menu. We opted to share the shrimp ceviche, again based on reviews. It was delicate fresh and delicious with generous amount of shrimp - probably a dozen more, fried artichokes and lots of fresh lime juice! I ordered the Chicken and Scallop wrap with a side of soup of the day, which was lobster bisque. The chicken and scallop wrap, although a somewhat odd combination, worked well together. The wrap was lightly grilled and it was loaded with chicken scallops, fresh arugula, tomatoes, mushrooms and pesto. My husband had the Andean Chicken sandwich and was very pleased. Portions were large for lunch, so I took half my sandwich home! We did however, find room to split the Tres Leches which was also delicious! Definitely worth a try! read more

However the risotto was its saving grace- flavorful. Lobster ravioli was too hard, swimming in sauce, and barely any lobster meat. The only one available was a Charlie Brown two top, outdoors in the pathway to the hostess station that was so damaged that you couldn't carve a steak without the top pitching like the deck of the Orca when Robert Shaw was landing the shark in Jaws. Our hotel was near the airport where there are not a lot of dining options. We took it upon ourselves to book a reservation and walk a long way here after looking at their menu and also noticing they offered raw oyster specials that night. Wow, this might have been our best meal on the Cape. We ate outside in the little courtyard area and had raw oysters, jalia y ceviche entree, and what my wife called the best paella she ever had. Ceviche was light, critusy and delicious. They have a pretty extensive menu with lots of options, something for everybody. Service was extremely friendly and even ran after us when I accidentally left my credit card in the bill holder. Can't recommend this place highly enough, and there was so much food, we had to get to-go boxes to finish the meal. read more

My husband and 9 year old son visited Tumi tonight while we were in Hyannis. The food was amazing! We all said we would definitely be back again. The restaurant is beautiful and bright, the waitstaff was very friendly. We had empanadas and ceviche to start, they were the perfect contrast to each other. The empanada dough was incredibly flaky, served with a delicious dipping sauce. The ceviche had a nice acidity and lots of fresh herbs. They were very busy, basically full restaurant and the outdoor area had tables and it looked like only 3 servers on. With that being said once our server came over who was very pleasant, she got our order and everything came out pretty quick. We ordered oysters which were only $1 (on Wednesdays) which was awesome. Ceviche great traditional ceviche exactly what I wanted. Lamb lollipops and a side of rice my daughter loved them. And the steak tips dinner her friend said was delicious. Weird. Based on my Yelp community I was really expecting a win from this place. Peruvian and Italian?! I love me a good fusion. Everything was so incredibly underwhelming I was shocked. How could my trusty Yelp reviewers forsake me? MAYBE it was an off night. But honestly - the restaurant seemed sort of gross. The host stand reservation book was tagged by a patron or someone who works there and says "ANAL". Cute. Then everything was sticky and dirty. The bread was warm but clearly like leftover bread that was burnt on one side. Bland city. Everything tasted off. The ceviche was REALLY chewy. The seafood pasta was bland. This place was honestly underwhelming. We were excited to try because of all the good reviews but it definitely didn't live up to all the hype. My friends and I did tapas style and ordered a bit of everything to share. First for drinks, we ordered a pitcher of sangria. It took forever to get and when it finally came to the table it just tasted like juice. Definitely have had better sangria elsewhere. For food we ordered the mixto ceviche (we asked for no shrimp because I'm allergic), the empanada, oyster Florentine, grilled octopus, and Peruvian paella. My favorite out of all of them was probably the octopus. It was grilled really nicely and had good flavoring with the aioli sauce. Don't bother with the chicken empanada~ it was pretty bland. The oyster Florentine was ok but a little too cheesy for me. It tasted just like spinach artichoke dip with a little bit of oyster in it. The ceviche was fine but they didn't take the shrimp out...luckily I'm not severely allergic but still it was annoying since we asked. Finally, the paella wasn't anything special. Have also had better elsewhere. Wouldn't recommend this. Overall we had just a mediocre experience here. Even the service was just ok...took a little while for everything. Our favorite meal on the Cape! Scallop ceviche was so full of citrus flavor and lots of texture. Hubs enjoyed the paella, but we both agreed that my scallop and lemon risotto was the superior meal. The scallops were tender, and the limoncello sauce and earthy mushrooms balanced each other perfectly. Our server (Maddy?) was very nice and attentive. A couple of bummers: they were out of their Peruvian beers, and while I hate to complain about free food, the bread that came before the meal was incredibly dry. This blend of Peruvian and Italian inspired dishes gets a big "Si" from me. The combinations of meats, seafoods, sauces, spices, etc., pair very well together. The decor is crisp and bright (the combination of yellow and black work surprisingly well together) and dominated by the walls of wine bottles. First on our table (after the menus) was a basked of very warm, dense, crispy bread with a dish of olive oil infused with lemon and garlic. Even though there are tons of cocktail and wine options, we went for a pitcher of red sangria. For the price, it's a better deal than 4 drinks. It might not have been as strong as sangria I've had elsewhere, but the flavor was fresh, and the muddled fruit at the bottom of each glass improved the complex taste. We sampled ceviches before dinner, one tuna, one a daily special. These are served accompanied with sweet potato, greens, red onion, and corn nuts two ways. These were again fresh and delicious and satisfied my need for lime umami. Continuing with the "How can you go wrong with seafood here" theme we seemed to be following, our dinners were another special, salmon and shrimp atop Peruvian fried rice, and the Frutta Del Pescador with all the seafoods again over linquini. Service was great and reflected a great deal of warmth and hospitality. It would be very tough to find anything wrong with our dinner experience here and very tough to pass up opportunities to visit again. read more

Excellent quiet location more easily accessed from the parking lot on North St. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Above average. My wife and I each had the Prix Fix which was perfect for trying many different things on the menu. We added an appetizer of eggplant , which was the first indication of the quality Italian marinara sauce. The Ceviche was very good and fresh. The entree's we chose were the Fettuccine Carbonara and the Chicken Parmesan, both made with homemade pasta. The chicken was fork tender and the marinara, as mentioned above, is spot on FRESH. Wonderful early dinner with a friend last night. Maria our server was delightful. I had a pisco sour which was the right amount of sweet and tart. Mary had the kiwi cucumber crush. She said that she would love this drink on a hot day by the pool because it was so refreshing. The food was amazing. I did not take a picture of our cerviche starter. I had the traditional and she went with the shrimp. Both were very fresh and good. We shared the antichuchos and causa duo.
