Great patio, could do more like use the bar maybe add music. The food is pretty good but don't go for happy hour. They do not have a good happy hour menu or special happy hour drinks Go for lunch or dinner you have better options

You're very slow didn't like our food. It's a shame because the atmosphere is really nice and they have a nice patio, but we will not be returning.

This is mysecond time today having tupelo honey. I was lazy and did Uber eats for lunch Fried green tomatoes are really good Fried okra great. Biscuits and peach jam I like that theyre made in house. Burton salad, I liked this with the honey mustard is was spicy! The least favorite was the smothered chicken. Chicken was dry and gross. For dinner coconut and me sat outside. Whitney was our server and she was great. I love that they have a doggo menu!!! Tried the meat loaf and alot better than the chicken. Coconut had gotten the bacon with peanut butter smear. Of course I opted for another salad and some more biscuits

Epic fail on my part for no pictures! I had the meatloaf and the combination of beef and chorizo was stunning along with the sauce. I couldn't figure out what it was but it was gooood! Cayden our server was great. This was my first time at Tupelo Honey and she walked us down the men and suggested her favorites. She was amazing. My friend and I went at the perfect time it right after the lunch hour not too busy but just right and you could hold a conversation. Very nice vibe for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Give it a try if you're up in the Frisco area.

Great service and great food. The goat cheese grits were very surprisingly good because I typically don't like goat cheese at all. The waffles and chicken were very flavorful and the chicken was moist. The steak and eggs was a star and the white cream sauce was a great addition. The biscuits were disappointing and dry unfortunately

This place unfortunately is another average restaurant. It's not a place I would seek out to return to. The asherville chicken sandwich was ok, but lacked in flavor and the bread was soggy. I'm not sure if it sat under a heat lamp maybe? But it came out so quickly so not sure how it had time to get soggy. The Cobb tasted like something you could get pre-packaged from a grocery store and we couldn't decide which dressing to get because they didn't complement the salad well. The desserts were very sweet and yummy, but had a little bit of an artificial flavor. The waitress was kind and quick, so no complaints there. Overall, I'd hate to say it, but it's both nothing special and the food missed the mark. 3 stars for me.

Wow what a feast! This is what brunches are made of. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, steak and eggs, shrimp and grits, and the Asheville hot chicken among other things. I love going for the shrimp and grits. The flavors are fantastic but also not too heavy. They pair well with a peach mimosa to wash it all down. Service was good - not too intrusive. I made reservations so it wasn't a wait but otherwise Sundays are busy!

Went here with the fam on a whim. Make Monday a fun day I said. Southern comfort food seemed like a solid choice. I shall begin by bitching about the weirdly tight parking in the garage at the star. It looks spacious but the illusion would undoubtedly leave David Copperfield making excuses about something in his eyes. Anyway, the Tupelo Honey is a nice, trendy type of establishment with a large airy seating area and multiple seating options abound. Pretty much what you'd expect from a restaurant of this tier. We were seated with haste as it was Monday. I will note that it was still pretty full. Our most excellent server was upon us almost immediately with a bright smile. Service in fact was a high mark of our visit. The staff here js fantastic. The food. Yes sirs and Madames,it was certainly good. I had the Asheville hot chicken, mac and cheese waffle. I enjoyed it though i wish it had more heat. I guess Nashville will always have that over Asheville. My wife had the sandwich version of that which looked a bit sad but delivered on taste. Before parting i'd like to leave a shout out to the creamy mac and cheese. Yum!

I definitely side-eyed the boneless chicken and waffles, but that sweet and spicy seasoning had me forgetting my complaints real quick. And the drinks? Strong enough to make me rethink my life choices. After my second mimosa I was basically floating. The waitress was a sweetheart and put me on to all the good stuff.

I don't have much to say other than that this restaurant has great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Belinda was our server, and she was very helpful in making excellent suggestions and attentive in checking on our table. The location is also ideal, just a short walk from the Ford Center. I highly recommend this restaurant and can assure you that you'll enjoy it - 10 out of 10!

Tupelo Honey is in a great location where there are lots of things to do around the restaurant. The ambiance is nice, but we had the worst server. He only dropped off half our drinks and didn't come back with the other half until 20 minutes later (one of the drinks was water). I opted not to order cocktails since it would probably take too long to arrive. After we received our food, he didn't check up on us until we were almost done eating. We had to ask two other servers to grab one condiment. It was fairly packed on a Tuesday evening. Make reservations if you plan to go there on the weekend. The Fried Chicken was wonderfully seasoned and deliciously moist. We ordered the Whole Bird with Brussels Sprouts and French Fries. The chicken was enough to share but maybe not the sides. The Shrimps was accompanied by a lovely sauce, but I wished they would give more than four shrimps. I didn't care for the Chicken and Waffles.

The food was excellent except the banana pudding would suggest to avoid at all cost. True banana pudding connoisseurs know that it is a thick textured dessert and not watery or soupy. Please see the photos below. Overall great experience and would come back. Service was ok she checked on us regularly.

I have never experienced anything like it! For starters, the staff was phenomenal! Our waitress was so sweet! And while we were enjoying our feast, they even broke out into dance! LOL! Dinner and a show! I will say, there is no menu...I know, bare with me! But the entire meal is family style, and all you choose is your protein which is then brought out family style as well enough to feed the table! At first I couldn't believe it and then they brought out the salad and then followed all the sides! And I am talking mash potatoes, green beans, biscuits, gravy, corn! It was endless! And sure enough when we finished something, it was quickly picked up and refilled! I ordered the catfish and my partner got fried chicken and let me just say...10/10! They brought out the crispiest fried fish and chicken ever and it was enough to feed us both with leftovers! I would definitely recommend this place for any family celebration or outing with friend! It was a perfect dinner! We cannot wait to return!

When I arrived, I was waiting on two family members who were about 10 minutes away, so I went ahead to put our name in. The hostess told me I could go right in, which made it seem like a table was ready, but she never took my name or wrote anything down. After I explained I was waiting for two others, she said "okay" and then started taking names and numbers from other parties, leaving me off to the side without her saying anything else. It was odd, so I sat down. After sitting for maybe 5-7 minutes, I noticed she was taking names for parties of 2 and 3, which was confusing. When I asked about it, she said she already had my party and name even though she had never taken it. At that point, it felt like the Chinese restaurant episode of Seinfeld, where somehow you're waiting but also not really on the list. She finally took my name for a party of three and quoted a 30-45 minute wait, without accounting for the time already lost. My family members arrived shortly after, and we still waited another 20 minutes or so. Once we were seated, the service didn't improve much. Our server was extremely slow, and everything came out at once. We barely had time to get drinks, salads, or biscuits before the food arrived. Refills and additional requests felt more burdensome than attentive. While the food and drinks themselves were great, the overall service felt very disorganized and subpar.
