It's conveniently located, the service and food were excellent. My date had French toast. She enjoyed it a lot and couldn't finish. I had the breakfast combo and a couple of pancakes. First time at a Turning Point location and it was a good experience! The coffee options are very unique and they were very generous with the amount they give you, even offering to go cups if you can't finish all of it. My nashville chicken wrap was really good and would get it again for sure, i wouldn't get the side of potatoes again though those were a little soggy. The chop chop salad was gigantic! Would definitely get again and the side mac and cheese was delicious. Overall this place was a great value, had friendly waiters and let us hang out for a while on a sunday morning so I would definitely go back or recommend to anyone in the area for brunch. read more

Update time!!! Turning Point can be ordered via Grub Hub- I had no idea!! until last week and so far- it's been two orders delivered to work and brunch planned with the girls in Dec. Honestly the salads are so hearty and plentiful, and the options are a bit endless, so you really can't get the usual " over salad" feeling. My current addiction is the Martha's Vineyard salad with strawberries, mango and blueberries is delightful and refreshing, I know its cold out- but it is delicious. Also the Cosmopolitan salad, I mean I opt to blend two of the Citrus Lemon and the Cilantro Honey- they blend well together and taste amazing on the salads, I did this because I like both and hate to choose. I sought out Turning Point on this trip to New Jersey because of its vegan pancake breakfast. A few days into a prior trip, I was jonesing for a decent meal. I got lucky with Turning Point! The service is pleasant and efficient, the atmosphere is corporate, to be sure, but they make a nice enough effort to make it lively and bright and visually clean. But the highlight was the food: their vegan pancakes are good. I know from trial and error that pancakes without egg can be pasty. I don't know how they avoid that pitfall, but I appreciate their success. (At home, I found that wholewheat pastry flour is the key, though they clearly found a different method.) They serve three large pancakes with two Impossible sausages. I was very hungry and finished the sausages and about two pancakes. Coffee was good--far better than an average restaurant. They have a million shmazzy options, but was happy with their basic cup o' joe, served in a French press with a couple of minutes left to brew. This was the best Beal of my prior trip. The service is as good as it can get - depending on crowd and if full crew is working. These employees work extremely hard to get you in, seated, served, and cleaned up for the next customer. My first time visiting this Turning Point location in Brick. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and the service was fast and efficient! Ambiance was very good as well...The wait staff was on top of everything without a hint of confusion or stress... My only negative comment - and take this with a grain of salt - is that the Home Fries (I think they call them Morning Potatoes) were a little undercooked, and were somewhat hard because of this. We went to the turning point today in Brick , I ordered an omelet and home fries and an English muffin I also ordered a coke. The omelet was decent , the potatoes weren't cooked they were hard and they tasted awful , the English muffin wasn't toasted and the soda was flat . Came with my friends for brunch. I have a chai latte as you can see the mugs were massive !!! It took a good minute to that massive cup of goodness. This little restaurant in a strip mall has the best server I have had in a long time. She went above and beyond to care for us. The hot chocolate was super epic. We chose to try out for the first time today. We were told 15 minutes. (12:16). About 40 minutes later we were seated. Only on approaching the counter were we told they were short staffed. Ok we were willing to find out if it's good or not. The woman took the coffee order and didn't come back for another 15 minutes. Had I known that it was so long a wait, we would have put our order in with the coffee. It's coming up on an hour and a half and all we have is the coffee. Honestly the turning point rarely does wrong, I've been to a few locations and am always so glad to go back!! I love love their vanilla chai tea, both hot or iced- YUM. We started with lemon blueberry pancakes to start- they were good nothing crazy but perfect to share. We then each ordered 2 eggs and toast. Delish. Our server was wonderful AND I was also able to call ahead to get on the waitlist which was so kind of the hostess. The waitlist also sends you texts to update you on when your table is ready. Went late morning Sunday. Checked in at 11:56 and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. Sure enough in 20 minutes we were seated. We kept waiting for a server to come over and no one showed up. After 40 minutes I asked the host what was going on and he seemed surprised no one had waited on us yet. He went and got the waiter who said " oh I didn't see you sitting there." I ordered coffe with milk. He brought 1/2 & 1/2. After waiting 10 minutes for him to reappear I asked for milk. He brought it out and took our order. After dropping off the order he never came back to the table. When he finally showed up when we were done he dropped off the check. Waited another 10 minutes then asked the host to find him so we could leave. It would have been nice to be able to leave a real review. We "called ahead" for a party of 9 at 9.30 on a Sunday. when we arrived, they weren't very busy at all, and there were quite a few scattered empty tables. The wait staff they have was unable to figure out how to actually move tables and made us just stand there for about 20 minutes. When we eventually managed to speak with a manager, she was absolutely zero help. we were told that we needed to wait for other parties to leave before they could see us. in addition, we saw three or four parties of three people each come in and be seated while we were standing there. so half an hour after standing there, we wound up calling a different local breakfast place that we've used in the past and was able to immediately accommodate us.
