Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Peak Cafe and had no complaints about drinks, service, or…read morevibes. Service was very friendly! It's a beautifully decorated and aesthetically pleasing space with plenty of seating and even the bathrooms were nice and definitely well-maintained. I had the Coconut Cloud with Matcha and it was perfectly refreshing. I also sampled the Biscoffee and it had a strong espresso flavor that was well complemented by the sweet cookie butter flavor. The bungeoppang was freshly prepared and well worth the $5.50 for 2; the hotteok flavor was my favorite. Overall, Peak is a wonderful space and a comfy place to study in. No wifi on Sundays though!

The Bischoffee or Banana Latte or Corn Coffee were all very tempting but I went for my preferred drink these days Strawberry Matcha although as I stood there waiting for my drink (which quite a bit longer than my friends American) I was regretting not trying one of their insane looking coffee drinks (aka deserts). My BF said his Americano was excellent, not acidic or bitter in any way. My strawberry matcha was good, a bit too jammy, but not cloyingly sweet although the matcha itself was mildly flavored, it was highly caffeinated since it kept me from falling asleep at my regular time. If I was in the area I'd absolutely go back there again.

Brian's is still going strong after over a decade visiting during the hot summer days/nights and…read morewhen we just have a sweet craving. With plenty of parking since it's located in a shopping plaza, this small shaved ice and boba shop may be the only shaved ice in the area. I haven't really searched for any others because Brian's always gets the job done. I remember this was one of the first shops, back in the day, that had the dole whip ("they have the dole whip that Disneyland has!!") and people used to come for that. Now you can get dole whip anywhere but those were good times. They haven't expanded on the size, but they've kept this place up and the service is still excellent. Every time I come in, the seats are clean, if people aren't sitting in them and the vibe is cool. I used to always order a shaved ice, but lately, my oldest and I have been into their boba drinks. My youngest always get a shaved ice with 3 flavors and he loves some sour spray. My oldest always gets a milk tea boba and I switch off between all the milk tea boba flavors. This time I went with the jasmine milk tea and I wasn't feeling that one as much. I am a fan of lavender, caramel, taro, Thai and chai, and my goal is to ultimately try them all. I highly recommend Brian's after all of these years and make sure to grab a stamp card. If you have kids, it'll fill up fast! 10 stamps gets you a free item! OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros

The counter for ordering looked like a hut with a huge plexiglass window as a barrier. I found this strange since it wasn't a bank but I guess it kept the server safe. I ordered the passionfruit black tea with light boba which was very good! A few of the girls got the shaved ice which they liked. *Great place to meet up with friends *Gets busy around 3:00pm when the kiddos get out of school *Perfect for Kids of ALL ages:) *Plenty of parking in the lot - just be very cautious since many drivers are not paying attention when parking or leaving here!

I really wanted to like this place because the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, but…read moreunfortunately the experience was overshadowed by how incredibly loud it is. The music is extremely loud--honestly overwhelming--especially if you're there with kids. It made it really hard to enjoy any kind of conversation with my family, and even harder to communicate with the employees (I could barely hear them, and they struggled to hear us too). The space itself is big, with lots of booths and chairs, which is nice--but surprisingly, there's no bathroom at all. We had to walk to Vallarta twice with our kids, which was super inconvenient. As for the food, we ordered three mangonadas--they were good, but not spicy at all if that's what you're expecting. My son didn't really like his vanilla ice cream, but my other son loved his Oreo blue popsicle. Overall, I'm giving a low score mainly because of the uncomfortable noise level. It really takes away from the experience when you can't talk to your company or properly interact with staff. I'd consider coming back if the volume was turned way down.

I didn't feel welcomed and the interaction was super dry :/ It was later in the day, so perhaps tired but I felt like a bother . Super cute shop! Sooo colorful ! Loved it. Thought it was odd they don't have a restroom for a place that sells large aguas / shakes . I stopped by from Oxnard and would again. Hopefully there will be more friendly staff and welcoming feeling . I know I still have a high rating ... times are rough and I understand there are stressors out there. Perhaps an off day.
