After placing the order on line, for delivery, I got a call from the pizzeria informing me that the delivery would be a little longer than anticipated because they were really busy. I came for lunch at around 3pm on a Saturday, and they were empty. I ordered a small pizza and a beer and had a seat outside. I drank the beer and noticed that people seated well after me were already eating their pizza. I went inside a little before 4 pm and asked the gal what happened to my pizza? She looked confused and checked and it was never made. She said the pizza maker just left and that the new person would make it for me shortly. However he said he wasn't ready to start and it would be a few minutes. I asked for the manager and he was not there. The entire experience was painful and comical. As I chowed down on 2 slices I wondered why I ever ate Dominos. The place is clean and new. Good location with meter parking and the guys were all cool working there. One of the most delicious thin crust pizzas I have ever tried. The place is small with a few tables inside and outside. Perfect location on S. Beverly Dr with parking nearby. I was there on an incredibly busy night and the staff although overwhelmed was still very attentive and courteous. Today we had a very pleasant surprise when we tried that's Pizzeria in Beverly Hills. I was quite impressed with the volume and quality of the toppings for our pizzas. The service was very good. But the star of the show here is the pizza crust thin crispy tasty. Something many pizzerias in Los Angeles seem to have trouble with. You combine the best of Wood-Fired New York and Chicago pizzas, thin crust of course. Will be back here again for pizza. I've been living in the Beverly Hills area for over 10 years. Upper Crust is hands down the best, most reliable pizza in our hood. I'll go beyond that and say something controversial...I think Upper Crust makes some of the best pie in all of LA, despite not showing up on any Eater or LA-ists. Admittedly, I'm biased being right down the street. I recommend the Spinach White for vegetarians, or the Fenway for meat eaters (add pepperoni). You will not be disappointed. My office is a huge fan of Upper Crust and we order from them often. We typically order around 6-8 large pies and have never been disappointed with any of them. We have a ton of pizza fans here so I'm glad we're able to satisfy every palette. The crust is definitely a huge selling point. Crispy, thin, and delicious. The toppings are great and abundant in options so you're able to really mix and match. I think the biggest downfall is the delivery time. Whenever we order, we try to get a delivery around noon and the restaurant confirms but the pizza typically doesn't arrive until an hour after the set delivery time. That can be a massive issue when you have a group of hungry adults that are used to eating lunch at a certain time. An issue I ran into during my most recent order was I called in around 12:10pm since the delivery time was set between 12:00-12:10pm to confirm that the pies were at least on the way and the woman said the driver had just left. Our office is 1.5 miles away so I assumed it wouldn't take long for the driver to arrive but the pies didn't arrive until 1:20pm. I tried to call around 12:45pm but couldn't get ahold of anyone. The first time I called, I was placed on hold by the same woman who said the delivery driver was on the way but was on hold for about 5 minutes so I just hung up and tried to call again but then I ended up just not getting any answer at all or just immediately placed on hold by that same woman for an absurd amount of time. We're ok with things being late but it's a little frustrating when first you aren't given accurate information but then end up getting zero information because they feel like being unresponsive. It's very difficult for our employees to try and plan meetings or end up having to miss lunch because of prior meetings scheduled for later in the day. Maybe I should have tried calling using another number? We typically tip generously too so I'm not sure what the issue is. Anyway, I hope this issue is resolved soon. If you plan on placing a large order, make sure you order well in advance and set the delivery time for an hour or more before you actually plan on eating. 4 stars because the pies are delicious but customer service needs major improvement. read more

I had to update my review because they have changed their vegan cheese. I tried the Garden Veggie pizza and omg it was so good! The pizza was loaded with mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, broccoli, and garlic. I don't know what it is about broccoli on pizza, but it's so bomb! Their vegan cheese is so good that even my non vegan friends ordered their pizzas with it. The crust is really good too. Upper Crust Pizzeria is AMAZING pizza and the manager Brandon H. went above and beyond normal customer service to accommodate feeding our (walk in) group of 40 people after attending Super Bowl at Sofi Stadium. We literally called Upper Crust from our mini coach bus, sitting in the parking lot at Sofi and asked if we could walk in 40 people to eat. Brandon (knowing they only had 1 hour left until they closed) said "we got you" he took our order for 15 pizzas over the phone and had them out for us on the table as we walked in. Unbelievable!!!!! No one does that with one hour left being open for a group size like that. The pizza was so so delicious and every person in our group was so grateful. A small but great pizza shop! I had two slices of pepperoni... the slices are HUGE! And if you love think, REALLY thin pizza then this is the place for you! It is cooked nice and crispy. First time here! My GF pizza was delicious! They could have gotten 5 stars however, the price was crazy! I wanted to build my own pizza. So the guy starts off charging for a regular size Margarita Pizza $14.99 then $2.00 for every topping which almost doubled the price. I said, start off with charging me for the crust or substitute some of the items on the pizza...no mozzarella so add feta. No red sauce so add pesto. Basically, no build your own option just $14.99 Plus $2, $2, $2, $2, $2.50 and so on. The guy did remove the $2 for cheese after I asked him to do so. Next, the same guy who collected my money took the pizza out of the oven and cut it without washing his hands. I watch closely and he did not touch the pizza... thank God! As we were leaving, I looked back to see if anyone would say thank you come again but no such luck. read more

It's always fun to try new pizza joints they are all SO different! So first of all, I have to complain before I start talking about the establishment. I ordered through Postmates and it took about an hour for the delivery time, this is on top of the cook time and I was only 1.5 miles away. It's normally about 30 to 40 minutes and in that time the food is still usually warm. Never once in my life have I ever ordered pizza and had to reheat it. That's what I had to do in this situation which wasn't the end of the world. Now also, I did order a large pizza and it was more like an extra large, which was great. After some thought, I realized a lot of Postmates people do carry insulated bags, but in this situation it was such a large pizza they would not have had a bag that large. Still though, I know Postmates can give the drivers multiple orders to pick up at once, so mine was in the queue - and because it was not a direct delivery was cold. I'm not a complainer. I appreciate that post mates exist, and that the driver delivered to me. That was very cool. But literally, the pizza was not even warm. I stuck my hand in between the pizza box and the bread box to see if there was any warmth to it and there wasn't. The edges of the pizza or about the temperature of what it is outside, which currently is about 60°. So back to the pizza! As other reviews have said, it's paperthin, which I think is really cool! It's similar to Sbarro pizza, back in the day when I was a kid I would pick up a slice at the mall and it was really good. I would compare it to that. I believe it was the statehouse pizza that I got it, and I enjoyed it very much. Definitely this is a cool place where if you are out and about it would be cool to pick up a slice, which they are very large slices, and as others have said and you can even enjoy a glass of wine. If you're watching your calories, this is a good place as well because one slice is about 3 tablespoons of dough, 2 tablespoons of sauce and maybe 2 tablespoons of cheese. Even though the pizza is super thin, you definitely get full from it. I really enjoyed it and would definitely order again, but this time would just pick it up directly. read more

We did call & the 2nd time we called (first discovered missing pizza toppings & then discovered missing dressing) the lady said she'll credit our credit card $20 so I think that's fair.
