Stopped by this place for a quick dinner. The line wasn't long but the cashier was a bit slow and only one cashier working on a Friday evening. The Asian Noodle Salad was ok. I wish they would've given a bit more chicken. Price was $15.50, a bit expensive for just the leafy greens and few strands of noodles. Baramundi Seabass $17.95, the best part of the dish was the sides (mushrooms and Brussel sprouts), the seabass tasted a bit raw to me. Side of fries $4.95, when they brought the side of fries out, I thought they mistakenly gave us the sides. It was really a joke to pay $4.95 for side portion of fries. Had I known, I would have picked the fries as my sides instead of the Brussels sprouts. I wish they can be more generous with their fries for the price they are charging. We were in line behind one other customer and a staff member quickly approached us and opened a new register to take our order. Servers are friendly (thanks Natalie!), and there is a good selection of food with a lot of healthy options. The lamb bowl is highly recommended as is any of the salmon plates. First time trying Urban Plates today! I went around noon on a Tuesday, did not have to wait to order and was seated immediately. It's definitely a very spacious restaurant, albeit a bit dark in the corners. But overall very good vibes. I decided on the Wild Ahi Nioise salad (~$15). I was worried about the price at first, but the portion size made it make sense. I wasn't able to finish in one sitting and took the rest home for dinner. I really enjoyed it! I plan to try the steak salad next time. Parking is okay. You can do street metered parking. I decided to park in the structure, which is $1.50 per 15 minutes, $15 max daily. Luckily, Urban Plates will validate for 90 minutes, which was the perfect amount of time. read more
