I've tried the bbq tri-tip sandwich, bahn mi sandwich and various bowls here and all those are tasty and filling enough. However the tomato bisque was a bit of a disappointment, considering it's an up charge to substitute the salad. I do not know how but it tastes like toothpaste to me. You order your food at the counter and someone brings the food to you. Staffs are helpful if they see you trying to bus your table they'd usually come help you out. The tri tip BBQ steak sandwich is incredibly tender and delicious. The sandwich comes with a little mixed greens salad which is super tasty and helps cut the spices from the sandwich. Service was incredibly friendly and I just beat the rush so my food was up very quickly. I sat near the counter and got a free show watching the staff prepare the fresh bread. I absolutely love this place. The ingredients are fresh, delicious, and hit the spot. Today I got the crunchy peanut salad, add Fresno chilis and boy was it so delicious it comes with a piece of their freshly made focaccia bread. I always get the unsweetened ice tea and mix just a splash of one of the fresh juices in. Everything I have had here has been 5 star. A great place for a healthy sandwich I guess if you're looking to eat healthy. My only surprise was the potion size of the sandwich, I thought I would get more but to me it was about half a sandwich. I seen this Urbane Cafe for a while since I usually go to The Habit next door but I wanted to try something different. So I put in my order online for the Club Sandwich. When I got to the place, there was plenty of parking during lunch time especially now that they allow outdoor dining. I was able to walk in and my order was already at the take out rack. A employee acknowledge me when I walked in and just handed me my order. I enjoyed my sandwich, I had some ranch dressing in the office so I added that to my sandwich to add some extra flavor. Food is ok. Nothing that makes you run to this place and not very filling. I feel some of the salads have way too much kale. I am not a believer in kale. Tastes like crap and up until recent times it was used for display purposes, not to eat. It's obvious, they use it as a filler. read more

Absolutely delicious and excellent customer service. First we showed up close to closing time. My bad. I don't usually like to do this bc the quality of food sometimes is not the same vs if you come earlier, but this place was the rare exception. We ordered both tomato bisque soup (if you like tomato soup this is for you sooooooo good) and the chicken soup, which was also great. We also ordered a Baja bowl and pesto chicken sandwich. I'm trying to avoid white bread and most carbs, so they offered to wrap in lettuce, uh yes pls. Everything was fresh and delicious. Again we didn't know that they were closing soon, so as we were eating they were doing what they needed to do but we're not hurrying us to leave. I ordered the turkey, cranberry, Brie sandwich and liked it very much. I usually don't order cheese on a sandwich but the melted brie was very good. My husband and I went to the Camarillo location because we had some other business in the shopping center. My first impression of the outdoor dining section was that it was very dirty. I can say I usually have a good experience when coming here. I usually pick up my food to go and they have a pretty good curbside pickup system. The food is also pretty good as well. I would definitely say they are consistently good food. Definitely worth checking out.
