I reheated it briefly and placed it back in the bread. Still terrible! I couldn't believe the dried jerky like texture. I chewed for days. It was truly the worst banh mi I ever had. I had good bahn mis' here before. What happened? The savings grace was how nice the employees were!

Needless to say, I would try other things on the menu possibly in the future but I will not be going here for pho again. I did appreciate and like that they willingly get reviewed by the food and health department and posted their "A rating" on their Yelp page. Maitland was our server the first time and we were in such a hurry to make it to other plans and she did an amazing job ensuring we had the best experience in the shortest amount of time. I've also sat at the bar to enjoy the all day happy hour, which is such a great deal! Steven was attentive and thorough and helped facilitate when other guests were getting a little excited at the bar area. I have since tried a number of other menu items and I think the fajitas and corn cake are still my favorite! Sidenote: you can add an extra side of corn cake for $3 - highly recommend! This place basically turns into a nightclub after 7 PM on Friday and Saturday night. There are men dressed up in robot suits wandering all over the establishment dancing with the guests. There are guests dancing in the open space between booths and tables and the energy is out of this world! There were even women doing the limbo through the robots' legs lol! I died! My only suggestion for improvement would be to not serve the rice, beans, and corn cake on the sizzling plate of the fajitas because the plate is so hot that the beans, rice, and corn cake burn which is not an enjoyable flavor or texture for me. I have since started asking for that to be served on the side and I enjoy it much better!

Went in with semi to high expectations as this place had a 4 star rating. If it wasn't for the amazing service and price I would most likely give this place a 2 to 1 star rating. Comparing to other Banh mi shops around town this by far is the worst when it comes to taste and value. I ordered a few sandwiches; Urbanh Special, chicken and Grilled pork and some fancy drink they had. All the banh mi had very little meat, veggies and too bready. Urbanh Special- Not enough flavor - Need more meat - Need more pate Chicken - Too Salty - Need more meat Grill Pork - Not savory at all - needs more flavor Overall, I don't think I will be back here as there are other Banh mi shops around town. I rather pay a little more for a more flavorful banh mi with more meat to bread ratio. Oh, expect a a 15 - 25 min wait time even when it's not busy! Growing up eating different types of banh mi, I love the fact that this place still keeps their sandwiches very traditional. Especially the che. Che is vietnamese desserts. They have different types, from sweet to refreshing. I like anything with coconut juice. Try their refresher if you like coconut. Anyways, long story short. This place is highly recommended if you like traditional banh mi with a touch of modern. Their ingredients are fresh, makes it hot and ready. Cool dining area with good music to spend lunch here. I've been to this place a couple time but it was a disappointment every time, especially the front counter lady, not friendly at all. She never smile and greeted me with a hello, how are you, instead she give me the "what do you want" look. As for the banh mi, I do appreciate that it comes with more meat and veggies compare to Lee Sandwich but if they're using old bread and not freshly made like Lee Sandwich, they should at least toast it so it is some what warm and crunchy, instead of soft and soggy. Bottom line, I would rather go to Lee Sandwich then return to this establishment. read more

Tiny little Vietnamese place offering a tiny menu. Ordered - B6: its kinda Vietnamese sub I believe. Went with sunny side up option. Guess this is the only thing I could eat here coz I'm a vegetarian. Tasted fresh and great though. Super value for $5.50. Better than any American chains. Rainbow Dessert : people should visit this place for wide variety of dessert options. Mine looked colorful and tasted too good. You'll be on sugar high for a while though. We've been regulars to Urbanh since they opened. They offer the BEST vegetarian sandwich in town (#B9), with sate vege ham, fresh pickle, jalapeno and cilantro. We've been ordering for our office staff and everyone loves their sandwiches. My husband is addicted to their OOLONG SEASALT tea, couldn't find a better one around. You know what is really sad today? It's sad when somebody makes a mistake, they deny it, and then…read morethey don't take accountability or try to correct it, and they are the manager, Rosa. This just happened to me at the Chandler location and the manager Rosa, will be the reason why I never spend another penny at this business ever again. I've been going to both locations for years. It was so simple. I ordered beef spring rolls, spicy beef broth pho, with vegetables on the side. I've ordered this particular item 1000 times. I went to go pick it up today and when I got home, I noticed a bunch of shrimp in my spring rolls, and I can't eat seafood. I had to dig the seafood out and eat what was left of a mangled spring roll. I was looking at the beef and I noticed that it didn't look like beef either, but I continue to eat it. And then I went onto my soup, I opened up the box where the noodles came in, and there were no pho noodles. It was some type of weird stirfry mix with an unrecognizable meat. So I called over and was on the phone with Rosa, and she completely denied that my order was wrong, and so because she denied that my order was wrong she refused to correct the whole situation. I then asked to speak with the manager, and she said she was the manager, and there was no one else for me to speak to. I then said that I was going to contact the Better Business Bureau because she was refusing to correct my situation, and she told me to go right on ahead, and contact the Better Business Bureau. She became extremely argumentative, cutting me off, and completely denied what I was trying to tell her. I had to disconnect my call from her and call the other location in Mesa, and speak with a manager there, to have them correct her incompetence. It was such an easy fix, I don't know what her issue was, if she was having a bad day, but the way she treated me was despicable. And she will be the reason why I never come back to this restaurant ever again. The manager at the Mesa location was very gracious, they did fix the situation by refunding the money back and apologized for her behavior, but they shouldn't have had to do what she should have done from the very beginning. I also want to note when I called Rosa to go over my order she had actually given me pork and shrimp, spring rolls, I don't eat pork, and I don't eat seafood. I thought I was eating beef the whole time and it was actually pork. I knew it looked a little bit off, but I didn't think that my order was that severely botched at that moment. This review is for you, Rosa, you need to do better with your customers. I never once raised my voice, or was frustrated or angry with her, I spoke to her with respect the whole time, but when she started to deny everything and not take accountability. I was coming back from a very stressful Doctors appointment and the only thing that I wanted was was some comfort food. Be careful how you treat people, you never know what someone is going through. Kindness and compassion goes a long way, and so does accountability.
